We have come out here multiple times and the store is NEVER open. We live 40 minutes away. The phone number doesn't work. Today we came out and there is a sign written on the door saying out to lunch be back in minutes 45... written in what looks like marker or crayon and appears to be done by a child. We have been here over an hour waiting and noone has returned. The door is locked and the lights are on. The open sign is lit. This is ridiculous business.

I had a unfortunate experience with a lizard I bought from here. I contacted the owner (Matt) who went way above and beyond and made things better. I also met and spoke with Jamie (an employee) who was not only friendly and helpful but very knowledgeable. I can not thank them enough for all of their help. I will be a forever customer. I would definitely recommend purchasing your pet from this store.

While visiting a friend in cali, we needed to go get reptile supplies. Being from a big city im used to lots of different options for supplies of anything. Unfortunately, this was the only option.Not only did we go several times during operating hours, for the store to be locked with no note of when it would be back open, but the number listed here, and on your business does not work. So we cant even call the establishment to see why they are closed during operating hours, and find out when, during operating hours, would they really be operating. Now, when we finally did get inside the store, it was to be greeted by a man that looked less than happy to be working. After getting inside and getting the items we needed, we're informed we need to use zelle or cash app, though they dont state that anywhere on the door, next to their incorrect hours. After telling the man we had come here before while the store was said to be open, and it wasnt, he had said 'oh yeah, i dont really like people coming here'????? So he can just lock the doors and leave when he chooses? Not to mention how completely OVERPRICED everything is! I could look over the fact things are overpriced if the service wasnt also awful, but it was. Again, i cant even call the store to try and speak to someone in charge. Upon speaking with my friend that i am visiting, they informed me that this is a regular occurence. The stores hours are openly posted, just to have the doors locked when your worker feels like taking a nap. Whoever owns this place needs a serious talk with their employee. And if the employee who is there runs it, you need to change businesses, or attitude, because coming into your establishment was absolutely harrowing. Im hoping someone will reach out to me posting this, so the poor people of barstow can get some better service.

The owner is not a person you can depend on. I purchased a Indianneck! $1000 he NEVER came back to honor his WORD for the wellbeing of the bird! I have had the bird 5-6 months and the bird was abused and he never came back to clip my birds wings, or even suggested where we could get care for parrot. He doesn't answer his messages or return calls! He brought this bird to my home has NEVER been back!

A pet store is what Barstow needed! Since Covid kids and adults alike have been needing companionship and this shop provides it. They are always friendly, and my daughter makes me stop there every time we are in the shopping center.

My daughter loves this store she gives her lizard food supplies from there it's close and convenient better than going to Petco the price is very affordable for your pet need

My son and I stopped in here this afternoon and the lady was very knowledgeable and helpful. She suggested some Dubai roaches for my bearded dragon and she LOVED them.

Animals for sale are well kept. Crickets, dubias, etc. are reasonably well kept in stock considering the high rate of demand.
