Overall good truck stop. Shower 6's outlet doesn't work so no hair dryer use in winter. Shower 7 has water pressure problems as most of the water spills out from other places. Here's what you will minimally get, and usually puts out a bit more. Not sure what reduced it further. A huge problem for those of us who actually work up a sweat or are forced to wait longer than reasonable for a Shower. I waited an hour at this place and it's not uncommon. We also generally wait due to work restraints.

This is your average loves, as in it’s good. Better than pilot and any other truck stop. We parked in the dirt lot across the street because parking fills up fast. Arrived last night around 5 pm and checked in to shower. Wait time was 45 minutes or so but no complaints from us, gave us time to chill after driving all day. Shower was clean with great water pressure and hot water.

A fairly new Love's location in Barstow, very nice and has everything you need for travel, gasoline and showers. Not as big as some other locations. Hot food is available, but they were out of containers for hot dogs.

The night crew(11pm ATM) here is that kinda perfect. Perfect customer service, amazingly cool attitudes, clear responsibilities, and even funny. Luis stands out for going way above and beyond. He recognized my traveling and handed me a free shower while serving the customer in front of me. Class AND efficiency deserves to be called out!! Honestly the best crew between Cali and Missouri!

If you’re planing on taking a shower here get ready to wait for hours.Last night I checked in for a shower. All the showers were empty and needed to be cleaned. And I was walking around the store with my shower stuff finally an employee noticed and she decided to talk to the other team member who was supposed to clean showers. The lady on cleaning duty was scary and other girl was clearly scared of talking to her and sure enough just for asking about showers she got insulted real bad. That’s when I know I had to stay quiet. But the customer right behind me in the shower line was not so smart and he spoke up “ any Idea how long for the shower “ poor guy thought he wouldn’t be attacked because he is a polite and a customer. But that lady was equal opportunity rude and insulting to everyone. Well !! let’s just say he didn’t get discriminated against just for being polite or being a customer.

I am currently sitting outside your store 374 in Barstow, CA having been asked to leave by your staff. Multiple staff very intimidatingly as though we were committing a crime. I would like you to know it is currently 1924 and approx 5 mins ago I waved over $100 cash out the driver side of my 2000 black ford mustang. I cannot believe the utter lack of respect I was shown as a former paying customer. I at no time showed intent to steal from your store, nor did any merchandise make it into any concealed location on my body. I am shocked these days at the sheer lack of customer service instilled by nearly every company which now includes Love’s. Perhaps if you had cared more about your customers than your bottom line you would’ve caught on to the fact I moved with ease through your store. That would be due to the fact my dad retired from the industry after a lifelong career. Stopping many many times at this exact spot, spending countless thousands of dollars supporting a company that would later refuse service to his daughter and treat her like a thief based off of ZERO evidence. It is appalling that this behavior has become the standard for companies such as yours. Sadly, your bottom line has become your priority and while the overhead is profitable in the short term. You are going to destroy your long term turn around in alienating the people that create your industry. Not a wise move on your part Love’s. Especially when you consider the possibility of this rant trending on social media. Perhaps a mandatory training is in order? And I wouldn’t turn down an apology for the humiliation I endured when I was asked to leave your store so aggressively in front of other customers. Your employees had no right to humiliate me in such a manner. If I had been caught in the act of a crime, then sure you have every right to call law enforcement even, but this was NOT the case in this circumstance and your own security footage confirms this. I eagerly await your response

This is the worst loves in the country without a doubt . I drive from Ohio to LAX every single week and I stop at over a dozen Loves stores . All of them are great but this one here in Barstow DO NOT stop here. Go to a different truck stop . 3 weeks in a row they have no coffee . It’s 6 am in the morning time for coffee and they have absolutely none !!! I would make it myself if I knew what drawer they keep it stored it . No excuses this place is trash. I went and asked the cashier Amber please in a very nice way can you help me get some coffee and she literally walked into the back room. Going across the street to Petro from now on

The store is pretty decent. The only problem I truly have is some of the employees that take care of the shower could care less. And that’s why the line be so long. I literally watched two females have a 20mins conversation before starting to clean the shower & that probably only happen cause I was standing there looking at them. We got to do better as a people🤦🏿‍♀️.

NICE stop. Clean and easy to get in and out of. Several Handicapped parking spaces in front, making it easy to get in and out of store. Out of all of the truck stops at this off ramp I like this one BEST! Tons of options for food and much of what you might need out on the road. Clean restrooms. CRAZY NICE and friendly staff. Never been greeted at the door of a truck stop before. That was extremely nice and helpful. I will make this my pit-stop in Barstow from now on.

Checked in at 11pm for a shower, none available. I was customer #43. At 12am I cancled the shower. At 7am I checked in for a shower since it was showing one available. I was customer #48. In 8 hours they only cycled through 6 showers, and they're dirty on top of all that. Absolutely ridiculous and a disgrace. I get we're in the desert here, and it's filled with nothing but tweakers and desert rats but c'mon!

OK they had some new hires or something because this loves did an absolute 360. These kids are running around getting stuff done and having fun doing it. I used to dislike the employees here for being rude and just ungrateful of their job but these new kids are handling it! Love to see that and love coming here as this is my most visited loves. And with whatever addition they're building or constructing it's just gonna get better. Got pizza got beer got cool employees 😎 had to leave a review

12/11/2023, 9:30pm: After being told to wait 25 minutes for propane (and waiting over 30 minutes), the clerk ignored my calls from the intercom at the propane filling station. I went inside to ask and the clerk gave a clueless look and said, "Uhh, I don't think we have anyone who can do propane right now. Maybe try TA or Flying J." Thanks for having me wait.

Clean restrooms and facilities. Well lit. Good assortment of food and drink items in the store. Carl's Jr is a little slow. Enough room for big rigs, trucks & trailers, RVs to park and rest/eat/fill up.

I would love to give this place a better review because the staff at the store is excellent! Friendly & helpful. However, laundry always has issues. Need more than 2 washers (always broke down!), have 4 dryers - why not put in 2 more washers? Showers inconsistent cleanliness. Soda machines out of more than a few choices (all diet). We parked at dirt lot across street - OSOW.

Clean bathrooms and well stocked shelves with plenty of snack options for the road! Had an entire section dedicated to technology (phone cords, earbuds, etc.) and the store was connected to a Godfather’s Pizza and Chester’s Chicken. Perfect for a gorilla on the go.

This ha become a regular stop when passing through barstow, opposite side of the freeway from most of the food places. But you can always pull right into the pumps, they have plenty, also lots of bathroom stalls, no waiting in line. And on road trips you know how important that is. Bathrooms clean. Can't really comment on the food but there is plenty offered but we usually go back to other side after we gas up and use facilities. Also a nice gift shop area to look through while waiting on others

Workers at night very inconsiderate, loud & rude! be careful if you have a utility vehicle, workers tried to pull on handles several times during my travel rest at night making it extremely uncomfortable for me. Imagine being sleep! Also An African American Male who works over night (dark complexion , glasses & shorter in height ) thought it was funny as he laughed with regulars as he soon found out the vehicle was indeed occupied! The man that I spoke of previously also allowed customer to sit on the back of my utility vehicle while both the worker and customer enjoyed a cig! I actually allowed it, being so tired from traveling! Hoping they would be brief but stayed within 2 feet of my car having a very loud conversation for well over 20 mins! Still unacceptable behavior on employees behalf I was waken out of my complete sleep! No care for travelers or peace or quietness! Just a big overnight party where they feel like customer service is no longer their priority.

Every time I go there for a cat scale for dmv the poor dumass inside puts the wrong numbers in making me go back 3 times and still not right but in all honesty they had important texting to do on their phones I been using loves for 9 years but all over the place and never seen one this bad guess I'll go to the TA from now on what a shame this one is make sure you go off duty before you go in staff is incomplete children

The guys in the love repair shop are awesome I came to get two tires on my trailer fixed. End up getting a dot inspection and needed to get the breaks on three axles replaced and a wheel hub plus the two tires done and these guys had everything done in two hours and had me back on the road. I would recommend this love shop too anyone

A standard Love's Travel Stop with clean restrooms and easy in-and-out access for most vehicles and competitive prices on all types of fuel. Leaving the Hotel California (located by the dark desert highway) a while ago, a lovely way to begin the final segment of a journey back home to my city by the bay-yey-yay-yay whoa-o-o-o-o-o-o-o.💘💛❤🌵⛽🚗🌴☕🌚
