Have to give Food4Less, and specifically the butcher/meat department the highest marks. Was shopping for some boneless pork ribs and there were none out, so upon asking the butcher in back, he made a pack just for me! not only that, he made 2, so I could choose the more appealing one. Excellent customer service in a world of spotty customer service. Also nice fruit department and a good selection of everything you need, with plenty of choices (plus Kroger store brand, which is always the best value deal.) Thanks for the great work. All the employees there are extra helpful and very nice, too.

Great prices on the bigger bags of dog food,very nice workers there's big meat and fruit abd vegetable isles,they have everything including bakery,prices aren't so low gas was much Higher,than other gas ststions,they have automatic doors good parking clean store

Well organized fruits and vegetables. I enjoy the Kroger brand and prefer it on sum items. Digital coupons and buy 4 or more items for great savings. Nice cashier with pleasant conversation. Great experience overall

This is where we do almost all of our grocery shopping and employees are always friendly and helpful . Only thing is they could use some more cashier's as the the long lines call for it.

Barstow store used to be pretty good but not anymore. Shelf prices are a lot higher at checkout. No mobility scooters for elderly/disabled. Gangster type, ill-mannered, foul-mouthed customer service helpers, etc. Don't think I will shop there again.

When comparing this store with others in town, the best prices are here. The meat prices and quality can't be beat in this town.If the store buyer reads this, I'd like to request a cat food called Delectables that comes in pouches. Bisque and Stew. Only place that carries these items is wallyworld, and I'd rather not go in there.

The store always has lines back to the aisles with only one or two cashiers at a time but you will notice other employees walking around not taking initiative to hop on and clear the lines so annoying…. Make sure you lock your cars and don’t leave anything in plain site …get in and get out..

Just love the place, best prices in town for most items, although the fruit selection can be a bit better most fruit looks like it was picked way to early. And the meat department could use a nice once over to be restocked with meats. The selection wasn't good. But as usual the staff was courteous and welcoming.. Always a pleasure shopping there..

If I could I would give a zero star I pre order a cake for today as I told them it was going to be under my brothers name and he was going to be the person to go for pick up when he went in they gave him a hard time for pick up , when I called the store to speak to the manger he continued to give me a lecture when he wasn't listening to what I was saying and instead of going to see what was going on in Bakery he continued with his lecture when I kept telling him he has the receipt and even the store has a copy of it very unprofessional took my brother over 40 mins to get his cake that was already paid for.

Sorry but stater Brothers will put my stuff in a bag then put it back in the car and put it in my car if I wanted them to you and if there's people in line they'll open to other registers and get everybody out at Food4Less there could be two registers open in 50 people in line and you're just chilling even if he got one item! Only go there if I have to some staff members are cool but a lot of them act like you're inconveniencing them by asking them to do their job or asking them a simple question so like I said stater Brothers that's where it's at and the meat at stater Brothers with the butcher on Deck way way better than food for less is meat I won't even mess w/ chicken ,pork or beef from there!

Good Prices on basic items, and some specific items. We always buy our produce here. Can be busy in the early evening or weekend, but we prefer to go here most often. They carry what need at a good price. Conveniently located right off the highway, and open till later than anywhere else.

I'm officially done shopping at this food 4 less I can't use the bathroom they got it so blocked off. I set my basket aside to go the restroom came back out it was gone, they thought it was go back items. I had to redo my entire shopping. On top of it they've gotten more expensive I had no where near a full on cart it came out to a little over $300. Took most of my money with very little groceries, good thing after seeing the expensely cost, I didn't bother doing my full on shopping. I will no longer shop here, I rather drive 30 to 40 minutes out to WinCo.

Today I shopped at the store. The air conditioning was out and it was hotter inside then it was outside. I felt so sorry for the employees. It's miserably hot for them. The company could at least get them some fans at the registers. Working in that type of heat is unbearable for them

This place is great for groceries. Through there are some other good grocery stores this place is great. Has a great selection of fresh produce, frozen foods, has fresh bread and cakes from the bakery along with a few deli meats. Through heads up this place doesn’t have a deli. Has some pretty decent bathrooms good customer service a Redbox for renting movies or games along with a gas station. So, this place I would recommend if wanting to shop for groceries.

Great prices on gas and you can save .10 per gallon by shopping here. I bought a tres leches cake in the bakery dept that was amazing. They have a great deal on fried chicken too. Low prices on groceries.

It's 6.99 for walnuts crazy. There Produce is always looking shady and not good. The people who work in every department are just milking the clock hardly working and they have this lack luster attitude. My main issues are with the prices. They have pricey produce and not enough organic selections. No seeded watermelons or not properly displayed. I hardly see any blacks working there it's an all Mexican staff which is ok but I love a little diversity it feels like food 4 less here is more Mexican based and giving discounts to the Mexican people. Blacks we struggle to its not just Mexicans people who are shady do come here but teach customer service were here to save money and come back to spend more not to be cheated out of hard earned buck not everyone has food stamps we pay for food and deserve the same discounts on food we buy especially with Big families like mine.

The fruit section is Awful all I fruit rot and 1 to 2 days they cantaloupe are never good crates bad fruits and melon that's no good For fruit go to the 99cent store on main freshest fruit in BARSTOW I gave it 3 stars because the staff is amazing under the circumstances of the store
