Wonderful, helpful and knowledgeable staff... One of my new favorite Dollar General Store locations so far. This one just popped up and opened it's doors in the last few days of October 2021, and I couldn't have been more thrilled to have a dollar general a half mile from my house...and I love that this store is in walking distance from my house...I no longer have to go into town just to get milk from Walmart (5.5 miles away from my house) anymore...which I find to be a giant waste of gas and added wear and tear to my car...and I have such a horrible habit of forgetting at least one thing from my list, that was important and the entire reason for going out. Having the ability to walk to Dollar General for my forgotten item/s is just so fantastic for me, plus it's great to get some much needed exercise on top. This store is always impeccably clean and organized and I look forward to when the entire store is on a regular stocking schedule, as the store is still acquiring their full inventory. (October2021 to current- March 2022) . Aside from that, all employees here are fantastic and courteous as well as, being well versed in merchandise availability. I'm so glad to see a Dollar General in Lenwood/Barstow....this place needed a new addition and a Dollar General is just what this side of town really needed to have around. Thank you DG for the great location choice...I look forward to seeing the stores merchandise availability come to completion.

The whole staff is helpful and kind. You can see they work hard to try to get their stock up and out of the way for customers. It’s cool that there is produce here so we don’t have to drive into town all the time. Walking here is convenient too. They are all doing a good job 🙌🏼
