I brought my cat (snowflake) here back in 2016 when she had allergies out of nowhere and the vet treated her and instead of continuing allergy shots every time she got a reaction he recommended an allergy test. I was so busy with work that the staff told me the results of the test and the interpretation which put snowflake on a grain free diet that changed her quality of life for the best. She’s now about 10 years old and healthy.Recently my 15 year old cat got sick while I was out of state and maybe I brought him too late but the staff treated him and he improved drastically but unfortunately I had to leave for 3 weeks again and without continuing his treatment (I was only supposed to be gone 5 days but I was fighting fort hood to get my discharge paperwork as they try to keep people against their will), my chinchilla cat was medically ready to move on. It brings me great peace knowing the staff treated him here on his final days and was treated with care and love even though he looked at his worst that I don’t wish on any other pet.

Cares for all pets !!! very good people .!!!Erica works here & she knows exactly what to do when you need help for any pet reason or concern . Erica is the best and has the most background knowledge for TLC aside from the vet . I live across the street and have pets I take there . Ask Erica she will take care of any needs or questions she is the best. The whole team work together and there always trusted with my pets. No worry for me . These guys are the right place for our pets!

This place only cares about money. They told me my cat would die in less than 48 hours, it wasn't the actual vet but some assistant.Its been more than 6 months, so i took him to another vet, and they said he was perfectly healthy. This place is sketchy and a scam. The fact that you have to wait outside instead of just being in a waiting room where you usually can speak to the vet about your concerns, just doesn't sit well with me and shows a lack of professionalism. They don't ever show you test or lab results and just tell you what is wrong (supposedly) so they can milk more money out of you. Go to southern California animal hospital instead.

I absolutely love this place!!! I drive all the way from upland just to come here. There is no other place I trust more with my furr baby. The customer service is top tier!!! Thank you dr and to the whole team at TLC 🏻.Also, a huge shout out to karry. I’m unsure if I spelled her name right but she is the best! She goes above and beyond to make myself and my furr baby feel taken care of.You guys rock!!So grateful for you all!

Actually insane, I walked in this morning and took my cat to this place because he had been hurt and wouldn't stand up or move so we showed them the cat and a lady there looked at him and just said he was already dying without checking anything!!

I love TLC , I am totally grateful for their work. They help you with your budget & they honest care about your little one. I am Kurage & Waffuru mom they both go there. I lost kurage 11.13.18 it was so freaking hard to see her in so much pain but it was like HELL having to know that i had to let go but they TRIED SO HARD not to give up on her & that is something I will NEVER forget. . . What they did for kurage is something that money can't pay to be honest I only have faith that God will thank them for me in a way that it will benefit them in there ways. It was so hard on our pug to say bye to her even though she wasn't there when it happen when we went home she laid on her sister bed and cried that broke my heart into tiny pieces, I just want to say if you come home I promise you, you will understand my words in this page. . Thank you nurse & doctor.

I love Dr. Casillas and his staff. So caring and compassionate. I wouldn't think of taking my babies to anyone else.This is Leia she's my vacuum. So she often times had stomach problems, and she was on her way to obesity. But with help and guidance from Dr. Casillas, she's back to a healthy weight. Thank you TLC

Came in for a rabies shot today. They didn’t let me in with her. Then they asked for help to get her on a scale to weigh her. Just to weigh her, they had my little baby’s mouth taped off. Afterwards they took her in for test w/o me && wondered why she was so squirmish. Said they couldn’t test her & tried to up sell me to an ER to have her sedated, x rayed && blood tested. No thank you, I believe I asked for a rabies shot & if I were allowed to be present she would be calm. Don’t come here! Vet on romona next to in n out gave me info on rabies & what I should do if I see symptoms. These people on puente just want $$

Yes the name is correct they are tender and they care for your pet. I was calling every place because my pet 🐶 lulu was really sick, no place was accepting walk ins , time was crucial for me pet, so this was the last place that I called and they were really attentive, they told me to hurry up, that they were going to accept Lulu, I went and was the best decision that I took for Lulu because she is happy again. The medicine, antibiotics and vitamins work great. Thank you.

Chose this place to take my new pup to since my roommate also takes her dog here! Never had a problem. Just be ready for the occasional wait times 🙃 but I love the staff. They're always so friendly and make me feel comfortable enough handing my pup over to them. Due to Covid I haven't had the typical vet experience of being in the room with my pup, but the staff here are pretty thorough and are able to answer any questions or concerns I have.

This vet clinic is very sketchy. I do not trust this place, go somewhere else. They do not call you back for lab results, unless there is "something wrong." However, I took two of my cats to get blood work and I know they had something wrong. When I called for the lab results they said the doctor would call us back and he never did. When I tried calling again, they were not responsive. One of my cats had cancer and they made me pay $300 on a procedure and they never called back on what to do next or explained what she had. My cat died the next following two weeks. They don't care about your pet's health, they just want their money. Please do not go here, go with a more compassionate hospital.

I thought my kitty had an infected claw and was favoring her foot, so I brought her over to Tender Loving Care, which is close to me. Although I had an appointment, I waited over 45 minutes to be seen. The next thing I knew I was hearing the words "This is the most sick cat I've ever seen.... but the claw is fine." What? She looked fine, was acting fine, eating fine... Okay, I am not a veterinarian, by any stretch, so I trust the professionals.Then they hand me an estimate for services totaling over $650. WHAT? They walk me through which procedures they most highly recommended and those which were optional. So how much do you love your kitty?I agree to move ahead with the treatment type procedures, skip some tests and dental work including extractions, and got my bill to about $400 that day.Next time she got sick, I tried out another local vet- no wait with appointment. The appointment fee was half the price. The antibiotics prescribed were half the price. They recommended a blood work test, and I couldn't recall if I'd had it done at Tender Loving Care when I'd been there, so I called to check, and by-the-way, how much did that cost? Tender Loving Care quoted the exact same test at about 3x the price of the other vet! (Oh, and the other vet told me no dental work was recommended for my kitty)While I am sure the doctors at Tender Loving Care are competent, thorough, caring, and err on the side of caution, it felt a bit like a hustle price wise.

I have been going to TLC for 13 years since my oldest dog was a puppy. The staff and Dr. are the best I found. They really care about my furry family members and treat them as if they were their own.. The Dr. is great! They have payment plans if you need them and will work with you so that your pet can get the care they needI have 3 dogs and I won't take them anywhere else. Dr Casillas is not the only vet I've been too but for the last 13 years he's been the one I have chosen because even my fur babies know he cares. They are supposed nervous on the way but once they know where we are they relax. Even my temperamental Yorkie. I LOVE TLC.

The vet assistants are always super nice , but some don’t relay the concerns you have about your pet. It would be better service if you were allowed to talk to the doctor yourself and express your pets concerns. After my pet received giardia treatment i kept saying he still had diarrhea and was told to redo a stool test but when i came back they said it wasn’t necessary and nothing else was addressed in regards to my concern about the diarrhea. It is also very pricey😐. They make you wait in your car which makes you waste gas on top of the vet bills , unless you want to burn in the heat inside your car. I think it would be better customer service if you would be allowed to speak to the doctor and given a nice AC place to sit in. I understand Covid concerns but also understand gas prices are high and it is freaking hot. I completed my pets shots that’s the only reason i kept returning. Unfortunately i won’t be returning and have found a vet that i can vocalize my concerns to and is much more affordable and proud to say my concerns have been fixed for my pet.

my dog has been there for about nine years,, since he was a baby basically. about a year and half ago he was diagnosed with Cushing' disease. they did blood work and stuff,, supposedly confirming that he did indeed have it. he even told us that he'd help us treat it and set up appointments to check his levels. $600 later NOTHING was done. no callback, NOTHING.at this point our dog has been through a lot and decided to take him somewhere else because the vet was recommending us to a specialist when he should have done so a long time ago. we didn't go, instead we went to a different vet.they were very understanding of our dog's condition and did the same thing, another blood work.it turns out he NEVER had Cushing' disease. EVERYTHING came out normal, unless we discovered some cure to the disease, he should still have it, no??I personally wouldn't recommend this place unless you wanna waste your money on a misdiagnosis. Southern California Animal Hospital is your way to go. , , just a fyi.

They practice the "Bait n Switch".Vanessa gave me a good price for neutering my dog over the phone. Then when I took my dog on they offered double the price and acted like they would never offer that original price.And they STILL charged $45 for just looking at my dog.Screw Vanessa and this clinic.

Trustworthy, Affordable, Friendly, Informative. I have been going to Dr. casillas for over 20 years. He is very thorough and will explain the best course of treatment for your pet. He does not scare you into a whole bunch of treatments you do not need and cant afford.Ive taken him my Iguana, Snake, and my various dogs. After 15 years we had to put my Pup to sleep. It was one of the hardest decisions I ever had to make. Dr. Casillas' staff was very sympathetic and helpful through the whole process. They took paw prints of my shortee and she was cremated and placed in a beautiful cedar urn. They took the best care of my family and I through a difficult time.Most recently my dog was bit in the face by another dog and Dr. Casillas provided several courses of treatment and we ultimately decided on surgery as the best course for our pup. I really love how he takes the time to explain everything because I always have a lot of questions about my pets because they are my babies.I always recommend friends and family to take their pets to TLC. I drive 30 mins for the piece of mind and comfort in knowing my babies are in good hands.

Our experience was NOT good. Our pet was brought in to be treated for wounds. It was recommended that he be given shots and be given topical medication sent home. Then it was recommended that he get xrays. So, we leave him. Then we get call for additional money to treat the wound... What???? Then when asked about X-ray they did not know results. A call for additional treatment without results of first inquiry?? Then they had my pet confused with another pet when we discussed the treatment and payment. This place is sketchy.. Be careful!!!

The cost of putting down your pet is over willing its bad to your pet down. The cost was more thin i kind bear $350. 00 especially for low income person. I have been look for help every wear. No pet No money NO love from this tender loving place

They gave me the facts but informed me very much on my baby’s condition, how medical procedures and diagnosis work, as well as the next steps to take by providing different options after every procedure taken.

Awesome place! I brought my dog in today because I though my dog had a rash by his anus but it ended up being a ruptured anal gland! Thank god I brought him right away!The doctor got right to the point, he explained how my dogs surgery is going to happen and what is required and all the blood test and other exams they're gonna do to him.I loved that he's very understanding and he explained everything clearly.The staff were very helpful and patient too because if you're a fur mom you want to know everything and anything that can happen to your fur baby, I know at least I do!Any surgery is expensive but it's really great that they give you alternatives on how you can pay your balance.Overall I am a happy fur mom that they're taking care of my puppy at this moment.

My cat had scabies and was in HORRIBLE condition. I was 15 at the time and only had $86 to my name. My mom wasn’t financially able to help me, so I took my cat in and got what I could with my money. I paid for a check up, and a gel that helped my cat because he also had ear mites ):. The doctor gave me a free cream and shampoo because he felt bad. This helped me out more than he will ever know. My cat really had no hope but with the shampoo and cream his scabies was cleared in only a week. Now he is a healthy chubby tabby. If the doctor or staff ever sees this thank you for saving my Papas ♥️ This is the best vet with the friendliest staff, 100% recommend!! Thank you guys so much.

Covid friendly they come to your car so that's good. But I was there waiting for 3 1/2 hours before my fiance had to call and tell them to hurry up. They were just holding her in the back.
