Everyone there seems to be cool people and there's good selection of stuff. One guy in particular is super kind and helpful. He has a heart of gold and I've honestly gone in on the verge of tears and left with my spirits lifted just from the short interactions at the register

It’s a store some things are decent priced there some are more expensive. The owner does have a lot of essentials for everyday life even though it’s a smaller store. Owners nice. Employees are nice. Sometimes it’s shady because of people around but mostly everyone is okay.

It's okay. Lots an lots of homeless people hangin out in front panhadling all the the time now. That's not the stores fault. A lot of times you'll get hit up for some chang before you can get to the door. Some times 2 or 3 times. Comin an goin. But it's getting like that all over the place. It a good store though. People are nice.

I like Woody's. It's just a small neighborhood store, but they're very friendly & curteous, and never too busy to help you when asked. They carry the basic items but usually have what ylI need (and if they don't they will tell you who does).

Hateful . Rude. Nasty. Price Gouging. The younger Persian brother follows women around the store. Insults are common. He will harass you over a mask, when HE HIMSELF does not wear one. RUDE SUPER SPREADER HYPOCRITES...Someone should teach them they are not supposed to treat Americans like they do each other at home in Iran. GO up the street the prices are far less then these Persians charge.

Quick friendly service shelves are always stocked and the liqueur variety cant be beat. They even keep cold bottles, of certain kinds of whisky and if u ask them to keep some of your favorite cold they will.

The guy who's usually in there isn't necessarily mean but he isn't friendly either. Just no emotions get you in and out. And he's usually saying something in what ever language he speaks but I can't tell if he's talking to him self or if he has a VERY discrete Bluetooth in. Other than that they have most things you'd need. They're pretty over priced too.

Woody's is a staple of Oildale in California. They have just about everything you'd expect from a neighborhood little market- cigarettes, fountain soda, bottled and canned soda, chips, candy, milk, ice, etc.-but they also sell hard alcohol- and a good variety of brands. So if you are looking for a decent market to stop in & pick up some goodies, I recommend WOODY'S LIQUOR

I go there for the fireball whiskey, like 18 bucks and change for a 5th. I think it's a good deal if you live in oildale, it's quick and convenient.

Be careful here they seem to never charge you the same amount. Use cash no debit cards because I believe they double charged me on my debt card a couple of times. No one seems to know whats going on here.

I have lived in oildale my whole life. I have never been treated so rudely by someone working in a store. This guy even topped the workers at dollar general on Roberts Ln. I will never spend a penny at woody's liquor on N. Chester ave. They really need to do contiplate what it is they need to address about their customer service. I would have gave them no stars but u have to at least select one star

Location isn't the greatest with free parking for this got an awesome awesome Mexican restaurant next door and they make the best burgers just got a little stop One Stop store across the street caddy corner from there it got a bar caddy corner from there and you just have access to place it right by extending School good place to wait for your kids
