Smaller than most the other Smart & Final stores but it's clean and organized and the staff is Very Friendly & Helpful! Moreso than is necessary or expected and I Appreciate Kindness! My reason for 4 stars is due to being out of items I need fairly often. Probably because it's a small store. But it's the 1 closest to me & again, can't beat the Staff!

I loves this smart and final. It is relatively uncrowded and you get quick, friendly service. Don't waste your time looking too long. There is always an employee close whom can quickly show you exactly what you want.

Store is clean and well stocked. Staff are always looking to make your experience pleasant. Even when some ppl come in with issue. If ppl don't want to wear a mask, shop else where. Remember we are all in this together. Much love.

Always a clean and stocked store. The best prices on meats most of the time and they’re never frozen always fresh. Great selection of groceries all around, definitely need more lighting,security in the pitch black parking lot though

We always come here to all the supplies for the business. This is the first time we've ever had any issues with payment options. We tried paying with our check like always and this time they didn't even bother to run it and they denied that payment option. I was asking the cashier why they couldn't process it. But the other worker, Lorraine, just made a movement with her hand as if saying f*ck them. As one business owner to another business owner, you should see how your workers treat your clientele before handing them a higher position. This is the last time I'll come here.

I had the worst experience ever in the Calloway store in Bakersfield. There was one checker and 30 people waiting. I requested that the checker call for help as I only had one item and they needed another checker. She called for help which never came. I ended up leaving the store without my item and called in to complain to the manager. The checker, who’s name was Stormy hung up on me when I requested a manager and so I called back. I got Tracy on the line who said she was the manager and proceeded to tell me that if I called to make a complaint at the corporate office to make sure to tell them to hire more help for their store. Uhh, NO! Both were extremely rude and this store has a serious customer service issue. I called corporate and messaged them on their website and to date no one has called me back. I guess bad customer service runs through the entire chain. I will not shop here again. If you’re in the business of customer service - that should be your number one goal. Otherwise what do you have?!!

It's great having it near by, instead of going to Vons or Albertsons, Smart and final is easy on the wallet plus they have what I need...and the staff is really nice. .lots of parking. ..but they need to clean the sidewalk before you enter the store, I noticed a lot of birds nest up above. .so lots of dropping. Not good

Good place for multi pak purchase. Large candy selection. Incredible frozen food and dessert selection. Too dam bad that they stopped selling gallon size pickled eggs. They were the only ones in town who sold that size. Just like the ones you see at bars. Everything comes to an end.

We ship here frequently where we mostly but our bottled water. But try their rotisserie chicken. It tastes better than those in the grocery stores and the chickens don't look like the size of pigeons. Their produce is fresh. But I find they seriously lack in offering gluten free options.

Have been going earlier in the mornings or later on in the evenings and there’s hardly any people there. Workers are friendly by saying hello and asking if there’s any questions. If there are lines to check out it goes by really quickly so no wait time.

Bulk prices without the crush if shoppers one faced at Costco or Sam's Club. That's not to say that Smart & Final has anywhere near the selection or that they always as affordable as these two warehouse giants. But you can still save quite a bit on food etc., over most supermarkets without sacrificing convenience or massive amounts of time.

I would give this cost a 5, but the one employee, Bella, is the reason I didn't. Bella was rude, and seemed to have an attitude. We asked her what the price was on a bag of candy. She didn't try to find it. We had to ask her to get a definite price.

No kindness! Went to Smart and Final on Calloway and we were surprised to be public shamed inside their store over not having a face mask. We have not been able to get to this store in two months since COVID 19 and have no idea of their policy or rules such as mask or no mask and not to bring bags into the store. There needs to be more information from stores to the public on COVID19 rules. No one should be public shamed! Every store has different polices so it is very confusing.

Items in the shelf with the price under them get them checker and told there on the wrong spot manager refused to sell for that price. Manger very rude.
