I've been a customer of scruffy to fluffy for about 5 years... I've always enjoyed the service until about January. I wasn't upset when they raised the prices but it seems like the service went down. We didn't get pictures of our dogs (complimentary) and the new girls behind the desk are a bit snippy. The last time I went in there was a lady who was probably in her '70s struggling to get in and get through the gate and nobody jumped to help her.. I feel like before it was more of a family type of business and somebody would have gone to the door to help. I still go there but I am disappointed in the atmosphere. The prices did go up so you might want to get a quote before just dropping off your dog. Nobody told me about the price increase until pickup and I didn't see any signs or anything.

It doesn't matter if you have appointment or not, they seem to take all day. I had a 10am appt, was told pick up around 230 and when I came back at 245, she was just getting her bath. I was told to come back and pick her up at 330 cause they close at 4. You gonna tell me that for another 1.5 hour, they are going to get her and the appts AFTER her done?? Then why couldn't they have her ready by 12 or the 230 time? Sounds like they like to OVER book!!!! They started off being the BEST.....

When I was first looking for a groomer, it made me so nervous because I’ve always heard horror stories of groomers with dogs (pulling hair, ripping out knots, shaving them all the way down and just not being good to them, etc). I found Letty and the reviews for her made me feel most at ease. I have used her several times now and I never have to even question whether or not she is good to the dogs she grooms because you can tell she has a TOTAL love for dogs. She always does such an amazing job on my pup’s cut and I love that she includes cute little bandanas and bows when she returns them to you. I very highly recommend her and how amazing that you can get it done without even having to go in and wait forever?! Mobile grooming is the way to go!! Well worth the money.

My dog has never been more pampered than this place. The ladies are always so caring, and loving. Not to mention always the same staff. I would recommend it to anyone Who wants a perfect loving spa for their pet.

If you love your pet, don't take it here. It will be neglected. My bulldog died in their "care". Should not be bulldog certified. WINSTON, was left under their care and was dead 3 hours later. He was never checked up on till they were ready to groom him. By the time they called me he was swollen and stiff. He was only 4 years old. They called and told me to take the dog to the veterinarian when he had already passed away. You can see the before and after pics from taking him to scruffy to fluffy.

We're new to the area, found Scruffy to Fluffy highly rated. Gayle was very nice and helpful. We went during the week when it opened and my dogs were done with in a couple hours. Great first impression, they will definitely be our go to groomer.

Honestly super disappointed. Brought both of my dogs. I asked them specifically for one of my dogs to use a muzzle. They did not. One of the bathers got nipped so they held my dog for almost 3 hours until the other dog was done which they only bathed her and didn’t even cut her nails like I asked and paid for. They were very nice but very oh well about the situation. We won’t come back. I think it’s an okay place for easy little pups who need a cute haircut.

I made an appointment for July 23, 2021 for my toy poodle. I had only used the mobile groomer one time previously with positive results so I decided to use them again. This time it was a different groomer but I was assured that she was good. After forgetting to do my dogs ears as I had explicitly asked for (because it seems often overlooked) she took my dog back into the bus and then came back out moments later with my dog who was having a seizure. My dog has never had seizures before. She claimed it was because “it gets so hot” inside the bus despite her parking in the shade of my neighbors tree and having an AC unit on top of the bus. If I had to guess she probably parked in the shade and left the AC off to save on gas despite the affect on my dog. She seemed completely unfazed by what was happening with my dog and just waited around for her money as I tried to calm my dog down. She assured me that I would receive a phone call from the management that I never received. These people obviously don’t care about what happens to other peoples’ animals so find another grooming service or do it yourself. Save yourself the heartache of letting these people hurt your family

Fluffy to Scruffy Pet Spa is the most unorganized Pet Groomer I’ve ever been to. It doesn’t matter if you have an appointment or not. You’re dogs will be there all day. It also doesn’t matter if you ask for a specific groomer. They give you who they want you to have. Also most of their groomers need more training. I’m not sure if it’s due to the new owners or what but do yourself a favor and don’t take your pet there. I now go to the Pet Groomer on Stein, it is several miles away but worth it for my babies to be taken care of by a caring, professional, experienced and well organized groomer.

Worst groomer ever. Not only did they cut my dogs neck in three places but also didn't let me know about it and one week later I notice the cut and infection which led to a trip to the VET. $210 later. On top of that if that wasn't enough they also decided to not give him a skin treatment bath like I PAID for and he has a dermatitis issue which I explained before hand and they said no worries...been waiting on a call back from manager for one and a half weeks and still nothing and if all that wasn't enough they had three dogs there with fleas and didn't tell me about it until after I picked my dog up from there so in short, THE WORST GROOMERS EVER!!

I called to make an appointment for my foster pup and advised them that since he was a recent foster all I knew was what I was told at Marley’s Mutts, that he was terrified of grooming. They asked me to go to the vet and get him a prescription for “Ace”, which they explained was a calming sedative for dogs. They further advised that once I did get him in for grooming with this sedative they would have two people perform his grooming, a licensed Veterinarian Technician as well as a licensed groomer. Assuring me that they had experience with this type of anxiety and that he would be fine. Oliver, my foster pup is a five year old schnoodle. I told them all he needed was a trim, because he doesn’t shed and his coat was not matted, it was very smooth, his face around his eyes and mouth needed to be trimmed. The hair around his eyes was too long but not matted either. I picked up the medicine and administered as prescribed by his veterinarian on the day of and dropped him off. When I picked Oliver up, his coat had been completely shaved and he had a big bow tie under his chin. They were closing and hurried me out. I was barely able to ask “how did he do” she said not good. I asked why and reminded her that I had left the remainder of his medication with them at drop off and asked if they used any more of it. She said no handed it back, took my payment and rushed me out. I put Oliver in the car. As soon as I got home, he hid in my master bathroom closet for the reminder of the day. The next day he refused to eat and just kept hiding, was not eating or drinking anything. After watching him scratch the area where the bow was several times trying to look under his chin. Took me at least six to eight times before he let me remove the bow. Still couldn’t figure out what was wrong I thought maybe food allergies or the simple fact that he was groomed had traumatized him so much. Come to find lots of blood in an area where he had been laying. This was at midnight several days after the grooming. He was Literally gushing blood from under his chin where they had placed the bow. A middle of the night trip to the urgent care vet then another trip to his vet. The picture will show where they literally almost sheered him to death. Oliver was shaking uncontrollably and in extreme pain for over two weeks. Had they just said something when I picked him up this didn’t have to go this way. I would have watched him and the area they cut. Instead they shaved him, didn’t even perform the service, I requested, they didn’t touch his face, in hindsight thank god they didn’t. Who knows how much more damage they would have caused this poor guy. After he recovered, I reach out to them, I ask for the owner, I get some lady by the name of Gill or Dill who claims to be the “manager”. I calmly explain what had occurred, all I get is, how are we supposed to remember something that happened that long ago. We would tell you if we had accidentally cut him. I told her I have over $500.00 in emergency/vet bills to prove it as well as pictures. No sympathy whatsoever, she hung up on me when I told her if they weren’t going to do anything about it I would put them on blast. Amazing. I would never, ever recommend this place to anyone. Not even for pet rat. I posted the picture in the picture section because this section didn’t let me download for some reason. If anyone want to see more pictures and copies of the emergency/vet bills I will be posting them on Facebook and Nextdoor.

What a great little shop, extremely friendly great customer service. They seemed genuinely happy to help you! I wish more places had their enthusiasm for customer service! And then to top it off they took a beautiful pic of our Basil and gave to us with a Christmas card! So sweet! Definitely recommend them!

Completely unsatisfied. This is the second time I have used this groomer. The first time was a walk in to get bathed, brushed, etc. Since she waited almost 4 hours, I decided to make an appointment so she wouldn’t have to wait so long. The appointment was at 8am and at 10:30 I called for a status update. First the lady at the front counter told me my dog was not there and that nobody showed up for the appointment and after a couple minutes they finally found her (how hard is it to keep track of a dog you had in the same kennel for over 2 hours?). Once they finally found her I was told there are still 2 dogs in front of her. It has been almost 3 hours since I dropped her off and they have not done anything with her. I made sure I got there 10 minutes before they opened so she could get in and out as fast as possible. When I asked why it was taking so long I was told this is considered a walk in only and there are no appointments for it. So then why would they even make the appointment in the first place? I was out the door and on my way to get her before I even hung up the phone with them. When I went in to pick her up the lady at the front was very rude and condescending and couldn’t stop eating for 5 seconds to talk to me. Completely unsatisfied and will be telling every one about the terrible service my dog received and that I received. I would give zero stars if I could.

Kaitlyn is the best dog groomer around! She makes my dog enjoy going to the groomer again! She’s is incredibly kindness and has fantastic attention to detail. I was shocked how quickly my baby dog was done compared to his previous groomer and how happy he was when I picked him up!

This is the ONLY place I can bring My 3lb. Chihuahua to get his nails done. He’s been 86’d from 3 salons because he doesn’t like his nails touched. They can do it in less than a minute & im not kidding. I also Love that everything is right there in the open, nothing to hide. Staff is Always Friendly & will always find a way to fit you in.👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

Awesome you don't need an appointment Tuesday through Saturday. You can drop off your dog for a haircut in the morning and pick them up by 3.

It is so crazy that you guys are still open. Not for long though. Better change your worth ethic and how real those license are. You should be put out of business for what have you done. It’s baffling that you show no remorse for hurting these animals. It’s a crime to abuse pets remember that next time you cut into a dog and tie it up with a bow. Pathetic works and manager especially. Go back to business school if you don’t know how to manage correctly or take care of what is needed. You’re just lazy 🤷🏼♀️

Poor service. They set an appointment time that they cannot follow. They will not call you to let you know that you will have to wait a total of 5 hours to get your dog a groom despite having an appointment. 5 hours is ridiculous wait time for a chihuahua size dog even if there’s 2-3 dogs ahead of you especially with multiple (4-5 of them) groomers working. Not coming back there and I’m telling all my friends and families about this bad experience.

I'm extremely disappointed in this place. I've taken my dog here for a while now and have always been happy with their services. My dog use to love this place. Today I picked up my pet and she was terrified for some reason. I wasn't happy with her haircut because that's not how it was explained to me. I specifically asked them NOT to shave her down. I can see her skin... but it's hair and it grows back. I specifically asked for NO bows. She has bows. But it's fine. I get home to see chunks of long hair on her neck hidden under her bandana and under her paws. I call back to speak to a manager and the manager answers with "hello? Who's this? What did you need?" Thens argues that my dog looked fine to her when she left and says I can bring her back to get it fixed. I said no I just want her to be aware of what I didn't like and that I asked for certain things to not be done to her and I was ignored. And she says "well idk what you want me to tell you if you don't want it fixed. It had nothing to do with us being busy she looked fine to me but okay." Overall bad experience after I picked her up. Never taking her here again.

When I picked up my fur baby after taking him there for years, he was frantically panting on the way home which was so unlike him. The weather was cool so that wasn’t the problem. After I got him home he ran outside the doggy door and started eating grass like crazy!! I called the groomers to ask if anything abnormal happened. They said no, everything was fine with nothing unusual happening. My baby feeling uneasy eating grass like crazy went on for a couple hours despite I was trying everything to help him. That was the beginning of him becoming very sick. He ended up needing to be hospitalized for two nights with his liver enzymes elevated to a degree that was very scary. Idk if he got ahold of something there that hurt him or if it was just a coincidence. However it was scary and very traumatizing for him and me. I prayed and put my faith in God to heal him. He is doing much better now thank God.

Dont take your pet here. Asked for a trim and my dog was COMPLETELY shaved down. I can see her skin. She was also scared and shaking when I brought her home. The shave was pretty bad too. There are pieces that are long all over the coat and in the paw like another person on yelp said. Avoid them! They'll give appointments on short notice but it seems they overbook. It took 2 hours for them to ruin my dog. This place isn't worth it just wait for your regular place to have an opening.Dont listen to the lady saying your dog is ugly. She doesn't seem very intelligent since shes bashing honest reviews. And the managers reply LOL

MORE LIKE MINUS 5 STARS!!! I'm not sure if they have new owners but I have taken my two German Shepherds several times to this establishment. On every occasion they come home happy and clean. Yesterday I went to pick up my boys, not only were they filthy and covered in hair not just their own but they were let loose with all gates open bursting through the room and headed for the front door. My boys are very well mannered and listen well, I could not control them because they were terrified to death. Both of them were trying to hide underneath my feet shaking. Trying to hold on to my two 120lb shepherds one young girl came up and cinched a leash around the gate to help. He was so scared he was pulling and trying to get away. When I asked what happened to my boys they had no answers. All they said was they needed to take them in the back to blow them out? But instead tried to remove the hair with brushes while they fought to get away. I removed the leash from the gate that was tied around panzer and both of them bolted for the door. Sigmund did not have a leash so I was trying to hold onto him by his fur (again this is how they were set free from the kennel) they eventually made it through the front door and I had to sit on my dogs back to keep him from running. Every employee just stood around and watched the chaos. Finally a young man came outside to help me keep my boys from running out to Rosedale hwy. He told me he was very sorry and he didn't know what happened to them because he wasn't there all day. He and I were able to load my boys up in the back of my car and the OLDER VERY RUDE HISPANIC lady came out to my car to get paid. A transaction that should of taken place before they were released. I followed her back inside asking what happened and all she could say is "that's 80 dollars" I tossed the money on the counter and told her I shouldn't have to pay for everything that just happened and because my dogs were filthy. She then told me to talk to the manager tomorrow. I went in today and the manager was not the again.

I have 3 poodles one has grooming issues, with you nails . We informed them not to cut to short. And the they did and she couldn't walk for two days. There also cut her tongue. They forgot to mention these incidents to us. My husband noticed the blood in thel back seat. Took her back inside and had to ask them what had happen. Then and only then did they tell him. Not going back.

It's such a relief to see groomers like yourself that put the needs and best interests of the animals before anything else! Nothing bothers me more than seeing a dog full of mats! Thank you for being such a wonderful and kind groomer!!!!! I would/will highly recommend your salon to anyone in the area looking for an amazing groomer!!!
