I’ve learned my lesson too many times with their groomers. My poor dog has been poorly taken care of too many times and I feel terrible for ever bringing her back here. My golden retriever has had her nipples shaved off, been cut WAY too short around her paws leaving the skin inflamed and obviously hurting her, and this most recent visit with TONS of soap in her eye. When we took her in yesterday we asked them to be careful around her nipples due to the previous incident & the lady on the phone told us it was “likely because the bathers sometimes cut them instead of the groomers”??? Ive had to take her to the vet after every single grooming appointment here and I’m not sure why I tried to give them one last benefit of the doubt. My poor dog is welling at the eye and it’s crazy red. Never never never bring your dogs here. Super disappointed.

* * For some reason, this was posted by Google under PetSmart which is ridiculous as it's across the parking lot from Habit which the review is ACTUALLY referring to- a problem with having tracking following people tied to a review function. I regularly get solicitations for reviewing businesses I merely drive by....ugh**A standard for us since a long time ago on Chapala in SB. When they came in to Bakersfield, reacquainted with the SB Char. Amazing for a drive thru. Sourdough generally tastes way better than most burger joint buns anyway. And Avo on Sourdough? Huh, if u ain't a fan you don't like avocado... combine onions and grilled beef and it's a full on flavor party. I like the large variety on their menu.Their shakes are always good, the ice cream cones are cheap and delicious.Salads are huge (pricey now, but huge), and added steak or grilled chicken makes it two meals.

I've been taking my dog here for her grooming since an issue with Petco over a year ago. Donny groomed her and he did a marvelous job! He was very patient with her and she was much happier and calmer when I picked her up than normal. Already booked my appointment with him for next time!

Ever since I got my pet Dog, German Shepherd. I kept on visit petsmart for supplies and get to have my dog graduated from the dog training class which the trainer was very good at what they do.And recently, I got some fish, Betta, ghost shrimp, and two guppies. Obviously, I didnt know any thing about fish and when I go get help from the petsmart. They were so good at helping me out and were expert at getting started with my first fish pet.If I have a choice between petsmart or petco. It is smarter to go to petsmart. 👍

Most of their adoption pets are gone. Only fish and a few snakes when we went. Other than that, it was well stocked and clean. There were more employees in the grooming center than the store itself. Is everyone short handed the days?

The employees at petsmart are very helpful, right. When I walked in, they asked if I help or if I had any questions that they would be right here if they need there assistance. Very respectful and kind. They even went out of their way to give my dog a dog treat good job, keep up the good work pet smart employee.

I called at 10:40am this morning to find out if the store had an expandable pet gate. The man on the phone said, "Let me check." about four and a half minutes later, the phone system started ringing the front desk again, like they do when a phone call on hold has been neglected. The man asked if I was the one waiting to find out about the gates. I asked him, "So you mean all of this five minutes I've been waiting, you never checked it?" He said, "No, I didn't." I said, "Don't bother, you've just lost my business." This type of customer non-service is bad for the company brand. I'm surprised that they would allow this to happen to customers ready to spend good money. I've since found a gate at another vendor.

I have lived here in Bakersfield for about a week and have always had a very positive experience in the store! It is very clean, organized, and the staff is amazing! There is also a staff member named Bailey I believe, we came in on his first day and today is his third. He is very charismatic and very easy to speak to. He has certainly made it a very positive environment to walk into!

Store looks nice and I drove 30 minutes to pick up an order here curbside. I couldn't get out of my car. I checked in on the app when I arrived and waited 15 minutes. Then I called the store multiple times and it kept disconnecting me after ringing for several minutes. Finally after 10 minutes, someone answered and when I explained how long I had been waiting, she said, "oh well we are busy." Not an apology. I asked how long it would be til they come out and she said a few minutes but couldn't really pinpoint what that meant. Although she was not apologetic at all, it is mainly not the employees fault. This is management's fault. If you cannot staff your store to provide curb side service, then you shouldn't make it an option. Additionally, the employee said there were only 2 employees on a Sunday. The store was way to busy to only have 2 people working. Definitely need better management at this location. This was my first time and I won't be back. I asked her to cancel my order.

I love visiting PetSmart it's my favorite spot to go for my furbabies for the first time. I love that they have a big variety of dogs toys. I didn't know you can bring your dogs inside. So the next time I'll have to bring Lunar and Sky so they can pick out thier own toys.

Their price at check out are different than the tag a lot so pay attention as you shop. Their lines are ALWAYS LONNNNNG. It is not unusual forbthem to have 1 checkstand open and 10 people in line. Ridiculous!

The salon staff was very nice but after picking up my yorkie I realized the groomer Courtney had trimmed his Left (only) eyelashes. I was/am beyond upset so I called today after the holidays to complain. I was told that some clients want the eyelashes clipped...never have I heard of such but I didn't request for his Left eyelashes to be clipped. I spent over $400 in that store that one day..not another dime of my money.

Got the puppy all groomed up for a great price! I will say that there were several spots missed but all in all it was a good job for the low cost. It wasn't as quick as we were told so I spent a while waiting but he (my dog) enjoyed the pampering. We already have our next appointment scheduled.

They have all types of things for our pets. They are so cute and adorable i just wanted to buy everything for my little cat. The best food and the best thing for dogs as well. All types of adorable clean comfortable beds and toys. Diffrent type so colors on everything. All you need is here.

I was happy that the customer service is really great here and the store is much more organized than most!My only beef and concern is that this PetSmart has all of their hamsters running on wire mesh wheels... :( this makes me very sad. These kinds of wheels are outdated and very dangerous. They cause illnesses like bumble foot and can cause broken limbs. PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE show better hamster husbandry. It is a bad example to future ignorant owners. Hoping this can be resolved for the sake of the hams! 🙏🏼 thank you! 🐹

As usual my experience with petsmart was enjoyable. The young gent who helped me was very kind, knowledgeable, and professional. I always end up spending way to much money but my kitty cats are really happy! Oh and I am happy that they carry so many holistic options.

I get my Chihuahua Felicia groomed here every month. Felicia is a very very nervous and anxious dog. Yvonne is so gentle and kind with her I know that when I bring her to this PetSmart, she is in good hands. I have seen the other groomers treat the other dogs with kindness and respect as well. I will definitely continue to bring my dog here for her grooming needs.

Just the best place to come and get my Sun Conure parrot his favorite food and toys and snacks along with any other type of cage equipment I need. Fair prices and always a nice helpful staff willing to assist you if you need help. This place is just around the corner from me and I love it. Everything is always in stock for me when i go to get my Parrot his Food or toys or sleeping huts, and with the chip ATM card reader I am in and out of there in a FLASH. Never any long lines and its quick and easy for me. Great handicap parking for me right there in front of the door. I couldnt ask for a better spot. Always a pleasure to shop there for sure.

Aside from having employees sit there watching you needing help for thirty minutes before being helped. I love the store. I also love the customer service after we h a d gotten helped, but I understand. Cheaper prices than petco, and guess what? These employees actually make you feel welcomed. This store aline has made me want to shop more at petsmart. Granted, it look as beautiful and welcoming as this store.
