We had tried several places before booking here and this was the only place that didn’t return my dog looking traumatized. All the other places also gave choppy haircuts and charged us extra because she was “difficult”. Thank you to Kylie who gave her a beautiful, clean haircut, and even said she had no problems with her.

Our dog, Charlie had not been groomed in several months. She was taken care of and cleaned up very nicely. The groomer was also very informative and shared what she did to make Charlie feel better and what we can do at home to help her in between groomings. Thank you so much for your patience and the great job you did on our baby girl!

When we picked up Major he was just so happy and he looked great! We got the full treatment. Wash, hair cut. nails trimmed. It was all done quick in about an hour. We will keep bringing him back here.

Ariyana is amazing, she treats us like we are family. She is sincerely cares about Sparkys health and welfare. She very kind and understanding when we need to make any last minute changes to are appointments. Being a manger of a retailer myself I would love to have an employee like Ariyana working for me. She is the only reason I still pay the prices for grooming at Petco. If she leaves we will be finding some place cheaper. I would hold on to her as long as you can.

I’ve always had trouble getting my yorkie’s cut as they should be and I finally found a person who knows how to . Thanks to Ben @ Petco in Bakersfield Ca on Rosedale location he was awesome and I plan on taking my other 2 yorkie’s to him for their grooming.

They charged me $103 for a $47 advertised medium size bath+cut service. The strategy is they'll ask for more cause extra brushing, special shampoos, whatever they like it will add up just because. Watch out closely cause if you don't, they'll refuse the service. Never coming back, I guess is good for short hair small dogs.

Where do I start? Laurie has been our groomer for a long long time now. She used to groom our little dog who passed six months ago. And now Laurie is grooming another dog that we have as well. Her professionalism, friendliness, and kindness is so much appreciated.

Mykala did such a great job with our 10 year old doodle... she really listened to what we wanted and took her time even though the phone was ringing and she was clearly very busy. When we came for pick-up we were so pleased with the cut and how happy and relaxed Vinny was! You could tell he had been treated well!! We will be back!

The employees there were so friendly. The quality of the grooming was done great for both of our puppies. My wife is very particular about grooming, she had zero issues with it. So it had to be perfect. Great job!!

They talked to Sunshine just like we do. As a person. She was relaxed and happy when I picked her up. This hasn't been the storry at other grooming places I have taken her to. Looks like we have found our permament groomer. Thank you for the job you do.

I’m in shock to see so many good reviews. The girls were extremely rude when we took our yorkie in there. Also when we picked her up. Her hair was cut all uneven and whiskers were cut completely off. We used to take her to the Petco in Loveland, Colorado and they did wonderful grooming there. Back here in Bakersfield hell no. I’m not sure if they gave her anything because she was sick vomiting and diarrhea for two days after we picked her up. Never going back here for sure.

Y'know how some dogs don't like to go to the vet or the groomer? Well, my Zoe was oh, so excited to go visit Lorrie and get a bath and brush! The results were top-notch, too, as when she came home, people just can't stop petting her (which she loves) because her fur is so soft!

I was so upset with the service. My pet had an incomplete hair cut coz the attendant said my pet was so movable. Is there no way to make them calm during grooming ? And aside from incomplete service, he charged me more than it should be. Ohhhh men. Too much regret I did a move to there.

My dog got a cut from grooming and there were some spots left out that hair was still long. I will be going into Gosford Petco instead of Rosedale next time around. Bad experience!
