Though they have a large selection of both birds rabbits and guinea pigs. The quality of the care was not good. I saw a lot of animals with artificially dyed red food and water. I saw multiple animals covered with either feces or urine. The cages with the rabbits and guinea pigs were also covered in both urine and feces (and or rusting). The animals in the higher cages when they pee it trickles down onto the other animals below. I also saw multiple escaped parakeets in the main room. The adult rabbits barely had any room to move, because two were in a 1ft by 2ft cage(you can see in the photo). I understand if you are going to sell them, for them to be temporarily in a small cage. But when there are two empty cages that are bigger, i would think you’d put them there. Not to mention majority of the animals are outside, which is very hot.

Best feed and pet store in Bakersfield! Their roosters are almost as big and healthy as vultures! Seriously! I got the cutest most playful perfect bunny. I love him.. Decent prices..

It's small but amazing! I saw the largest roosters I've ever seen in my life! I swear this big pretty black rooster was at least 2feet tall. And his vocals echoed the store! I was in awe! They have tons of small animals but they all have plenty of food and water. The girl was so nice she took out each baby bunny and let me hold it to know which one I wanted. She was so patient. And they are reasonably priced. I will never go to another feed and pet store ever.

First of all some of the caged chickens and birds are over occupied in cages. Im not sure if thats the appropriate way to put it,but hardly have space to move freely. Then the small rats didn’t have any appropriate cage but were in a storage bin instead. The outside rabbits and birds were directly in the sun. The smell is too strong inside the building . Some animals are too pricey. I have seen better equipped and better organized feed stores with a better sense of fresh air

I went in to get shots for 5 puppies, my first time dealing with this, not knowing much bout shots. Well asked the lady which shot I needed, I also mentioned I was trying to save$ if possible. She said I needed canine Spectra 5, I asked questions and at one point she say something what I thought was, I could just get the canine Spectra 10. So thought to myself cool I save over $120$ when I asked to compare boxes she didn't let me look at box were she grabbed them from. Then I asked her again about canine Spectra10 , she said you can't do that, now that I have them at home and I'm looking over the packages I could have well just went with the canine Spectra 10 all along but it is my fault I guess for not doing the research before I went...I doubt I go back or recommend place to anyone. People should help each other out.... lesson learned. 👎

Don’t shop here!! Chicks & ducklings are in over occupied cages. Disgusting left this place super depressed. No one greets you or anything. Sad how people can be so dammmm cruel just to make their money off these poor uncared animals.

The smell inside was so putrid that my grandson almost vomited. It was so disgusting and filthy inside. The rabbits and ducklings in the cages outside in the hot sun, had no water whatsoever and were literally dying from being stacked so full and so hot without water. The birds inside on the back wall looked very sickly. Not sure how this place hasn't been shutdown already!! Doesn't even deserve a 1 star.

Went there a few weeks ago and was planning to buy a bird, all of the birds were pricey except for the parakeets. They keep the birds in small cages and some of them with no room. I don’t recommend coming here.

I bough a sun conure from them on March it was still a baby and I hand fed. The birds is awesome, very healthy and friendly. The owner is super nice and explain everything about the birds. Looking forward to get a new pet!

I thought the gal in the store was super sweet. Didn’t speak much English but I could prob stand to speak more Spanish 😂 Prices were reasonable & it was so fun for my kids. Lots of birds, bunnies, hamsters and supplies. Will definitely return.

Absolutely terrible place. All the birds are stressed, they keep way too many to a cage, and I saw a literal amazon box filled with budgies with only a small wire window they taped on. There’s a sad cockatoo in the back with all it’s feathers plucked due to stress. Place is also terribly dirty. Do not spend your money there, it’s basically a bird mill and I feel so sad for all the poor birds there in those conditions.

I asked for the bird price he said price is marked. Clearly stated conure price when I was asking the ringneck price. Was overpriced and became irritated when I informed him way above market. He didnt offer to help with food he had some little kids help me that didnt know where the food was. Very poor customer service. Never again will I shop here.

I buy chicken feed here its cheaper than other places good quality They will always load the sacks in your car for you so you dont have to carry them. Very clean place I highly recommend this place....

I don't like how he has the pets crammed together in a cage. He had to baby pigs in a small cage they had no room to walk around. They need to be checked out by animal control just to make sure they are in compliance
