My dog has been going here for about a year and a half now. The price is good. The job is fine, but not consistent. After picking my pup up this last time, there were cotton balls that I found pretty deep in his ear canals that I had to pull out. I understand that they were originally there for probably a good reason, but if I didn’t find them, then it could have been detrimental to his health. ):

She’s a sweetheart. Had a rescue infested with ticks. Needed same day emergency service and Chantelle’s took care of our puppy and gave great advice on how to protect our home. Can sleep now without the fear of a tick infestation. Thanks for the 5star treatment!!! Highly recommend!

Worst experience I ever put my cat through. The salon is dirty and unsanitary.They take at least 4 hours and my cat came out with several cuts including one on her face. When I retrieved her she was starving, without water, in her cage between two ladies with dogs. The groomer had the audacity to say she had done me a favor by getting her groomed so quickly. DO NOT TAKE YOUR ANIMAL HERE.

My dog Max is vicious, but that’s who he is. Chantell’s is the only place that could handle Max and understand my love and care for him. I highly recommend Chantell’s, they take the proper care and respect needed for my dog. Oh, and they dress Max up really nice and give great advice on how to take care of your dog. Thank you. 👍

Chantell's is a small family business that is a great place to take your loved pet to be pampered all for a reasonable price. They even have a professional person to get your pets teeth done and save a bunch of money. I feel recommend Chantell's to anyone in need!

They did a good job on my Chihuahua,but they forgot to replace my dogs collar. Had to go back and get it. But overall, they were friendly and my dog looked good.

While I no longer reside in Bakersfield, Jamie and her mother, Beth, were my groomers for about 40+ years and they are AWESOME!!!!! My Poodles and Scotties always looked wonderful and I am proud to recommend Chantell's!!!! They deserve 10 stars!!!!!

First timer... The environment was great as soon as I stepped food inside... I was greeted with a smile and my shitzu was loved as soon as she made it to the back, my dog needed a haircut bad and was matted when I picked her up she looked amazing! To add further consideration to Chantell's grooming, I have been a resident of Bakersfield since January 2013 and like most new residents, I googled everything to find my way around town. One of my searches consisted of a dog grooming service for my full breed Shih Tzu. Since she was a baby, Jamie (one of the groomers) took her in and treated her just like the baby she was. From there, my Shih Tzu did not come back to me shaking or barking. If anything, she ran out with her tail wagging and just filled with so much energy. She has never received a cut or horrible treatment from Chantell's. They take pride in what they do. If my dog was behaving badly, I was informed when I picked her up and Jamie would let me know that she had to be placed in time-out. It is now April 2016 and I just booked another appointment for my Shih Tzu. I could go to PetCo but for what? I get the same quality experience and plus more for a price that a full-time student and part-time worker can afford.

I want to give a thumbs up to Chantels all breed dog grooming I know firsthand that every animal that goes in there is treated just like their own I used to work there I stopped working there because my own personal reasons but I know firsthand that they treat every animal with love and care just like they would want their pet treated if they were to take it to a groomer Jamie is a wonderful lady with lots of care for the animal and pride in her work thank you Jamie for providing good quality work and and care for these people's animals I hope you are doing well

Had an appt for our furbabies this morning, when my husband showed up to drop them off, they were closed, no one answering the phone either, very disappointed with this place, luckily we found another groomer who was willing to take our furbabies in same day ,very poor customer service at this place, never again!

I don’t not recommend you taking your dogs or cats there my cat was cut in the foot and he dose not want to Walk anymore,my cat has shaved spots all over him😠 I do not recommend!!!!
