I was scheduled to have a representative from Bakersfield Pool Supply come to my home today (Saturday, April 6 at 11am.) to give me an estimate for a new pool sweep, filter system, salt generator, etc. . . They never showed! No phone call, no text, nothing. Just never showed. . . I have a budget of $5,000 for these new components. I guess they have more business than they can handle? Horrible customer service, vey unprofessional.

Pool tech that maintains our pool is prompt and professional. Informs us of any issues we need to resolve and status of pool for available use.Hoping one day to return to previous service provided when we started whereby pool business provided service, including chlorine tablets…vs customer providing tablets at a cheaper price range (due to supply chain issues).

I absolutely love it there! They treat you like family, I hardly know them but I feel like like I've known them for years! They don't try and get you for things you don't need like I've experienced other places, sometimes I leave not needing anything. Even once I went in thinking I needed to buy a new hose, and the lady asked what was wrong and just sold me the part that was only like 6 or 8 bucks. She didn't have to do that and that means a lot! They are trustworthy and just all around awesome people!!!

First time owner and decided to keep up with my pool myself. First time i went in for DE powder for my filter and the people are amazing and very knowledgeable with fair prices.If your having any issues you can take them pictures, videos, and water samples and they'll go out of their way to help you. By far the greatest!!!This review is long overdue,They were so helpful and knowledgeable it made my life so easy, I would recommend this business establishment to EVERYONE. Bakersfield pool supply owner Joe and his wife gave the best advice and did all the work for me.I called them my pool had turned green and needed that taken care of immediately so my guest could enjoy the pool, well I called and had no idea what to do, they simply came by and took care of it that easy!!!Thanks Again

We used this service for over 5 years while treating our own pool. They are knowledgeable, friendly, helpful and know about pools. They will come out to diagnose your pool, and do not over diagnose. We now use their full service. Great price, great service, plus our pool is looking great!

These guys really know their stuff. I buy my pool chemicals from them and they always make sure I get just enough to get the job done. The owner is really looking to make sure I spend the right amount of money, and not more.I bought a pool sweeper from them, an MX-9. It was a big purchase and they made some big claims about it, like it would sweep my pool walls and even climb the pool stairs and sweep there occasionally. It does all that, it is incredibly reliable. I've had it a year and a half now and only had to have it repaired once. I've got several palm trees and can't keep the seeds out of the pool, but the machine is never stopped by that, unlike my old Hayward, which was stopped dead by the smallest seed.I'd recommend them to anyone in Bakersfield.

I love working with Bakersfield Pool Supply. I first encountered them as a customer for my personal residence. They were by far the most accomodating, easiest to schedule with and often less expensive. Since then, I have used them numerous times to handle pool issues for homes that I had listed to sell. As a Relator, that is very important because we work under deadlines to get things done so the new owners get to move in on time. They are thoroughly professional.

Customers Beware. After being a Loyal customer for 3 years Bakersfield pool supply left my pool green, filter and pool damaged. Steal your money and leave you high and dry. My children were disappointed that they could not swim on the 4th of July due to the half fast to no services provided by Bakersfield pool supply. After I called to have my pool issues resolved Bakersfield pool supply decided to cancel my account versus resolving the issue. After having several other pool services come diagnose my pool come to find out Bakersfield Pool supply was not providing the service they claim to be providing but still charging me for it. Luckily the damage they left behind was able to be resolved by someone who knows what they are doing for a more reasonable price.

This is awful and they overcharged me for nothing they did nothing to my pool it was clear for 4 day of the month after they left me pool green they tried to take it off will algicide but it did NOTHING and thats why i give it a 0 star

Emailed on Friday, by Tuesday had a bid, excellent service, and by Thursday had a new composite handrail on the pool. Wow! Joe was the best!
