If i can give this establishment a negative 1 star i would. There is a recent new female manager that has a terrible attitude. She is extremely rude, doesn't greet her customers and has the worse customer service skills i personally have ever seen. She should not be working with customers in my opinion. I have been shopping at this store since they opened and have never had a bad experience until recently. This store has lost my business, my husbands business and my sons business for good due to not hiring the correct personnel. I hope the General Manager reads this review and the Corporate office does something about employees with bad customer service and terrible attitudes. This employee is hurting your establishment and it should not be tolerated.

I love that store I go in for one thing and I always come up with more than enough things. I love all the things that they have from HomeGoods to decorations to all occasions cards the food ice cream is the best. And the staff is always so warm and just nice.

Family Dollar… is not the family store it seems ! The store on Gladstone and Azusa in the city of Azusa has employees that have customers seeing price sales for merchandise then as you check out at the cashier the store sales are not honored in fact the employees are charging increasing on lots of merchandise in the family Dollar disrespecting customers calling them fool and then have the audacity to say thanks for shopping with us have a nice day…the manager is the most impolite person at the store don’t come here they are mean to the costumers worst hour of our lives trying to get our customers always right

This is overall a good store:) the manager is so nice and helpful. Employees look like they cant wait to get out of work. (Some of them smile when you walk through the doors, others look like they could care less). The only trouble I find is that there always seem to be long lines when you go up to pay and the cashiers are so slow (at times). I have noticed countless of times that some of the makeup including nail polishes are expired (yet they still leave them on the shelves to sell). Many times I've noticed that my foundation is botchy and has clumps in it after I buy It. It also causes allot of irritation. (Not every foundation I buy from this store is like this, but they do have a change in color). Please if it is expired; throw it out.

Went yesterday and the store is a chaos, they don’t have the item with the right price, the employees act like they are doing you a favor, customer service is awful, I’ve been in some other Stores like El Monte Location is neat, well organized and customer service was great, avoiding to go to Azusa location again. They need to train their employees first before putting to represent the company.

Nice place to do some quick last minute shopping, prices are a bit high for being a place called family Dollar but like I said if it's quick last minute shopping and you're in a pinch it's a good place to go could use a little bit of more management as they don't seem to change the times on their door so they're supposed to be open until 9:00 or 10:00 but they close at 8:00 other than that employees are pretty friendly I suppose somewhat lacking in knowledge of the items that they sell but that's common nowadays.

I was also trying to communicate with the store, so when we went in to make a purchase. I asked the cashier, why dont they pick up the call. So the store associate told me the reason that they don't answer the calls is because they dont have a phone but the line works. The store manager needs to be more responsible and request the company to add a telephone since their is an active phone line. I called the family dollar store in west covina ca and they do pick up the phone, even the store manager in the family dollar west covina, that when she calls that they do not pick up

Good stuff to buy but never ask to break change. Just asked to change a $5 For bus fare and the lady acted like if I was going to take all the money. Good thing there is a Family Dollar closer where i live because I am not coming back to this location.

The word Family says it all! This store has everything you need for the family and friends... There merchandise consist of BRAND NAMES at a low price suitable for shopping... QUALITY, BRAND NAMES AND LOW PRICES!, What more could you ask for! Good job!
