Here's a beautiful little dining place we stopped in on our visit to Avila Beach. This is a very nice and beautiful spot with the view of the beach the sound of the waves beautiful weather and dancing in the streets. The scenery is around here are beautiful and this cozy little restaurant sits with the view of the ocean. The Aroma from the food filled the air along with the joy and laughter of other Travelers. If you come to Angela check this place out the food is delicious prices are good and The Taste is phenomenal. And afterwards go check out the beach and go cave exploring just be careful here's some pictures from our travels there.

We came to Avila Beach for the Polar Bear plunge probably 1000 plus people. So we expected it to take a while to be seated. But the service was way below standard for a beach front restaurant. After we were seated they delivered our food in 3 trips first trip took 20 then another 20 min for second trip. The third trip was my Pastrami hamburger it took over 1.5. They did comp my burger and gave us a dessert but charged our other ticket for the burger after taking it off my ticket.

Excellent clam chowder. The bread bowl was good, I prefer a more crusty exterior and a more tart sourdough bread, but the chowder made up for that. The clams were fresh, succulent, and of a substantial size. They were accompanied by a perfect consistency chowder. The spices enhanced the clam flavor without detracting from it.My daughter loved the sundried/garlic/pesto sauce that was on the bowtie pasta and that's saying something.I was intrigued by the prosciutto flatbread so I got that to go.The carrot cake was one of the better restaurant cakes I have found. The freshly grated coconut shards on top put the dessert "over the top"Excellent atmosphere, fast seating, attentive and friendly servers, and all with an oceanview.

This place is amazing, anyone who lives within distance will agree. Its right on the boardwalk in Avila and you can see the ocean. The food is amazing and the service is great. The bar looked REAL nice but it was 10am when we went in so we stayed away. But the breakfast was amazing. If you get the burrito, its huge! 2 people can share. Definitely a place to eat!!

Was extremely bad service.Good wasn’t goodClam chowders no taste only heavy made with flour and milk no taste too much potato and no clamsSteam vegetables over cook and brocolis rottedI returned the bowl and she brings a second one rotted and bill me for 2 even if she took one back… awful rotten so grossNo refill for our water or more drink as she never comeback to see if we wanted more to drinkAlso when we asked she didn’t know her menu at all… and won’t go check for us to answer us if we don’t ask her to do so.

We had the Surf N Turf and the Scallops Carbonara which was outstanding. Our waitress from Hanford was very attentive and super knowledgeable on the new specialties. Highly recommend the Clam Chowder also.

My wife and I stopped here and certainly weren't disappointed. The views were perfect, giving perfect sights of the beach and the pier. The food was exceptional as well. I had the chicken and she had the Spanish omelet. The service was kind and went great. And enjoying the beach after eating is always a benefit as well.Everything was great and would certainly try this place again when visiting!

Food was awesome 👌 our server was Hannah, she was amazing!! Very sweet, talkative and just made us feel very comfortable 👏 excellent customer service, and her recommendations on the jelly(from Oregon she said) with the jalapeños poppers was on point! Delicious 😋We had asada fries, sunburst sandwich w/onion rings(which onion rings were amazing!!) Clam chowder(also delish 👍 ) fish sandwich w/onion rings awsell, all amazing choices. We ate out on patio, Atmosphere was perfect views of the beach. Definitely will comeback to eat!!Parking: Street parking was where we parkedWent on a Wednesday so not to.bad traffic . Parking was available a soon as we pulled up.

Beautiful restaurant, the food was great, atmosphere was nice but pretty busy, but it was a Friday night so maybe that's my fault! Clam chowder was amazing and the bowl was literally overflowing with the goodness. The fish and chips were perfect, not greasy, not too "fishy." They had some awesome cocktails as well. The staff were all so friendly. We will definitely return.

We stopped in for a late drinks and dessert. Yum! We were seated and served quickly and the hot apple pie wrap might be the most delicious dessert we've ever had! Highly recommend. The Ocean Collins drink is what I like to call a "spa water" drink. It's a refreshing cocktail with cucumber and mint and feels perfect for the beach.

This place is one of the tastiest places I've ever been. The fish was so tender and soft and delicate. The fruity salsa-like topping was absolutely delicious, and added really nice flavors to the fish, and the rice was well cooked and was sort of coconut-y tasting with a nice topping of a sauce that tasted great! The vegetables were also cooked really nicely and tasted very good too :)) steak was really great and had a very good taste and texture, and they had a free bread basket with whipped garlic butter. Customer service was great, and this place had nice seating. Wasn't too loud at all, and it was very very yummy! I would absolutely love to come here again, and all the dishes they had in the menu were pretty healthy, so it isn't hard to find a healthy meal here that tastes absolutely wonderful! I very much highly recommend :)).

So good we came back the next day! Perfect stop to the beginning of our Central Coast weekend getaway. It was a beautiful sunny day which made for the perfect ambiance to stop in for a traditional Bloody Mary and a Seaside lunch. The Bloody Mary is perfectly seasoned perfectly spiked with so much flavor. I had the clam chowder bread bowl with the smoked salmon on top, a must! The clams were perfectly cooked with the best broth / clam ratio. The smoke salmon is a must on top of this clam chowder. We also had the carne asada fries which was a generous portion with loaded flavor and spice. The service was amazing the atmosphere is amazing right on the coast perfect for a great meal and people watching you cannot go wrong!

The atmosphere and service were really good. Nice outdoor patio with view of the ocean. Our server was very helpful. The kid's entree and fish tacos were good. The only issue we had was with the New York Steak we ordered. It was ordered medium, but came back well-done. It was sent back and came back almost raw. The peppercorn seasoning was not good either. They did comp the steak, which was nice, but we were there for a long time before we got to eat. Overall, the place is okay. Maybe we just caught them on a bad night.

I used to really enjoy eating here. The menu is much smaller than it was pre-covid. There were no heaters on the patio where we were sat. The waitress was trying to cover too many tables for one person (so the service was incredibly slow). I was hoping for a little something for my wife's birthday - all we got was an "Oh, did you want a sundae for your birthday" as we were getting up to leave. We had to ask for a cocktail menu. And the prices were "fine dining" expensive. We won't be going back.

Where do I start. Best clam chowder EVER, by far! You can have toppings like bacon or shrimp, but really, it needs nothing. So buttery, clam are perfectly cooked, potatoes and celery, but not too much. Fish and chips were great! Kind of steak fries. Patio still comfortable at night cause of the heaters. Waitress was the BOMB. Thanks to Marga and the manager that hired her. Even the host was friendly. Cost was $100 for 2 meals, desserts, soup, and drinks.

The views are great. Very limited GF options. Cross contamination not guaranteed if you have fish allergies. Had an overdressed Cesar salad. My husband enjoyed the fish and chips with the only negative being the fish batter could have been better seasoned and crispier. The flat bread was ok as was the shrimp cocktail per our friends. We had 3 cocktails which were just ok.

Went for lunch and had the clam chowder, buffalo wings, and flatbread appetizers. The flatbread stole the show. Thin crispy crust and balsamic drizzle made it memorable. The wings were also delicious. The chowder was thicker than I've ever had before, almost like custard, and the flavor was good but not great. The wait staff was friendly and attentive.

Loved the ambience and the service was great. Menu is a bit pricey but hey, its San Francisco. I had the chicken fettuccine and I thought it was pretty good. My husband had the seafood fettuccine and oysters on the half shell and really enjoyed it. The best entree was my dads...he had the crab enchilada and it was amazing! Good cocktails and French bread!

2022 - Stopped in for dinner after checking into our hotel. Wait was less than 5 minutes. My partner had the Filet special, I had mussel steamers and we shared a flat bread. Food was excellent, the filet was perfectly mid rare. The service was also first rate. Dave came with a second ice tea just as we finished the first ones. Glad to see this business thriving!2021 - We visited twice during the week. The first time I had the steamers and desert. The mussels were perfectly cooked and the broth was delicious. On the second visit I had the swordfish and a friend had the rib eye. Both were excellent. The swordfish was grilled nicely and moist on the inside. The mashed potatoes were yummy. There were also some perfectly cooked vegetables. The lava cake is worth it...leave room, or just have appetizers and desert. We also liked the J Dusi pinot grigio.

Excellent place for breakfast! Eggs Benedict and shrimp omelettes. Yum! Friendly service, prices okay. You can sit outside if you want. There is a bar here. You can have bloody marys for breakfast. It's right on the beach.
