Wet Spot Rentals was very helpful and accommodating to our group of 10 including our kids. We rented out 5 kayaks and had the best time! The two gentlemen gave us vests, assisted us into our kayaks off their dock and gave us helpful tips and directions. I’d highly recommend this business—they went above and beyond! We all had a blast! Thank you guys so much!

Great rental shop in Catalina! My family and I were able to rent 6 sets of snorkeling equipment including fins, snorkel and masks for the two hour special they have. The staff was very knowledgeable of the area and the wildlife around. They recommended that we visit lovers cove park, where we we were blown away by the sheer number of fish we saw. Two people in our group got a little cold, but the shop had wet suits for us to rent. All in all, we had a wonderful time and are already planning our next trip back

Great time for the whole family! We came here for kayaks and snorkeling rentals. The staff is friendly and the prices are reasonable. We rented 3 double kayaks for few hours and the staff recommended us to check out Frog rock. We got to kayak alongside the coastline and it was absolutely beautiful. Michael was informative and for my first time snorkeling, it was great! I would definitely come back.

Convenient rental shop for water sport equipment. Friendly and helpful staff. We rented a two person kayak for a morning paddle. The equipment performed as expected and we enjoyed our two hour journey.

Most friendly business on the island. The gentleman with the dog was very helpful and informative on where we should and shouldn't go for kayaking. If you are a fast kayaker, you could get it done in 2 hours, if not I recommend a 3 hour ride if you want to see a lot of the island at a slower paced.

We had an amazing time at lovers cove with our swim gear from Wet Spot. Grace and Michael were so friendly and helpful. They gave us some fun facts regarding the Chicago Cubs history on the island which was great for us coming from Chicago! They made the experience even better! Highly recommend this spot. We hope to see them again when we come back to the island!

DO NOT COME HERE! This is absolutely the worst place to go. The owner of the store forced us to get 2 hour kayaking with no refund. The area is where all the other boats park. So one of the boat owner yelled at us to move out of his way because we are in his way. We tried our best to move but to be fair we are new at kayaking. He yelled multiple times and then turn the back of the boat us so we could smell all the exhaust. At this time, we were already close to the shore. The store owner saw us and didn’t do anything. We asked if we could pull up but he refused and said we have to wait. At this point, I already feel like I wanna throw up for a very long time. But yea, the store owner didn’t care. So trust me, if you wanna go kayaking, go somewhere else. At least you won’t get yelled at by random stranger and puke your guts out.

These guys are the best! They are kind and helpful and really made our visit to Catalina so enjoyable. They are knowledgeable about the area and give great tips and advice. They have awesome rates on their rental equipment. So much better than buying an excursion from the cruise ship! Thank you for the great day!

Right by the docks so you can do it right after you get off the ferry, cheaper than the rentals at the pier and the guy who runs it is super chill and told us the best places to take our kayak and about how long it would take us. He said since it was a slow day to not worry to much about the time and not to kill or selves paddling like hell to get back. He also held our stuff that we didn't want to get wet behind the counter! It was about all around great experience.

Great family owned business in the heart of Avalon. Rent Kayaks here and snorkel gear for going out to Lover's cove. They also have souvenirs for sale and their staff is simply amazing. Go to place for kayak rentals in Avalon Harbor.

We had such a great experience with Michael and Wet Spot, the kayaks were great, he gave us tips on where to go and so we paddled to this secluded beach and had an amazing time. I’ll definitely rent kayaks from them again whenever we go back :)

My gf and I rented a double kayak from this spot and went out for 3 hours. We found a rocky beach to the north of the casino where we came ashore and hung out for a bit. This place made it super easy and the dudes there were great. Price was reasonable and they held my phone and wallet for me while we were out. Great spot, thanks!

The hours and service were terrible. Went to their shop on the pier and was directed to the spot behind the casino. Upon arrival, we discover that they closed for the day at 2PM! Ended up wasting an hour and a half on my one day on the island. Unacceptable.

Chill place to rent various water sports equipment. We got paddle boards and cruised the harbor. Don't forget to go into the opposite side of the pier where the beach is sandy.
