Celebrated my sisters birthday brunch here at Pour Choice, I have to say this is my favorite spot in Sacramento area. I had an avocado toast with their 6 min egg and had all the toppings that I could add, it was so so good! The cinnamon bun had a wonderful taste, I could taste the cardamon in it. Also, I tried the shark board, amazing pear jam with a great selection of the cheese and prosciutto. Thank you so much for such a wonderful experience! I want to have a reason to come again, soon 😊

I was done with work for the day and just felt like It was time for a coffee. The Pour Choice was on my “To Try List” and this was a perfect timing. They’re located close to downtown Auburn just a minute or two off the freeway. The drive to the coffee shop is nice but one issue is parking…. which is off the main street and limited but lucky me I found one within a min with about 2 min walking distance. The location has a very nice vibe and a antique feel to it. You walk up some stairs and voilà… you get to The Pour ChoiceToday I tried Honey Latte and taste wise it was really good. Cashier and barista welcomed me as soon as I walked in.Very solid coffee place overall.Location 4 starsCoffee 5 starsPrice 4 stars

Staying a long weekend in Auburn, I was worried I wouldn't find an interesting coffee shop as I usually enjoy. I was very wrong, "The Pour Choice" is an excellent coffee shop, right up with the top of those that I frequent. It is in a beautiful location on the historic Sacramento Street in downtown Auburn. It has both a full service coffee bar as well as a wine bar for tasting and craft beers.I had a regular mocha, it was very tasty complete with well done latte art. They had a nice list of different flavored lattes which I'll be sure to try on my next visit. The loaded banana bread with peanut butter and banana was exquisite and surprisingly not overly filling as I was worried it would be.They have plenty of interesting breakfast and lunch foods or just afternoon snacks to enjoy. It was hard restraining myself from trying more of them on my morning visit, but I'll certainly be back so that I can get a taste of many of these. There is plenty of seating, deceptively so - I initially thought it was only downstairs and in front of the shop, but was pleased to discover that there is more seating in the back as well as an upstairs loft seating area, upstairs side patio and a porch up above with a view looking out onto the main street - All of these were great options for enjoying a nice view or people watching. The service was excellent despite there being many people enjoying their morning coffee and breakfast, the baristas all managed to keep up with demand with quality coffees and foods.A surprising little bonus was a little flower shop set up in the front which was nice and added to the atmosphere.

Was in town visiting and met up with some people to catch up! It was the most perfect spot! They have balcony seating, outdoor area with more seats and indoor. Loved that they had a wine selection as well. Super cute spot to get work done or just hang around. The staff is sweet and it can get busy so be patient. Drinks will be called to pick up and food is delivered!

I liked the place absolute. You can sit both inside and outside - much space. Beautiful art in coffee. I took my fav lavender latte. They have toasts and banana bread. And different drinks

We travel with our pup even coming up to Auburn and visit The Pour Choice every time we come up! The service is great, the food and drinks are yummy, and there's a really nice atmosphere. We sit outside because we have a dog, you'd think it would be miserable during the 100° day but, it wasn't! They have a huge swamp cooler that cools the outside area nicely. It was so nice to have a place where we could enjoy food and drinks and not sweat to death!!! ... Also... You have to get the pretzels 🤤

Swanky & cool spot. Shop was pretty crowded for a Sunday afternoon. I was probably 3rd in line to order so not unreasonable. Staff was very friendly. Lots of fun retail…makes for great small gifts or stocking stuffers. Ordered iced caramel latte. Baristas seemed pretty chatty with each other in case you’re in a hurry and don’t have the time to wait 25 minutes for them to prep your coffee order.

Went here on a recommendation. Both the old fashioned latte and stone fruit latte were weak in flavor to the point that we couldn’t tell the difference between the two. The ideas of the flavors are great, execution could be better.

Stopped here in Auburn on our drive from Sacramento to Lake Tahoe. Super neat little mining town with a rich history and then this great cafe spot! The coffee, breakfast sandwhich, and avocado toast we had were superb. Loved the layout of this place with the additional upstairs seating, side yard, and balcony, plenty of options. It's counter order and they bring out any food to your table. They have a sort of open concept kitchen so you can watch the food prep. The place has a lot of character and would definitely visit again along this route on a future trip.

Unique, small, high quality coffee/beer/wine water hole (with a small kitchen as well). They have a large selection of beer on draft, also beer in a can for the patio. The outdoor area gets some sun but also has a lot of shade as well. It’s perfect for dogs! We can speak for their coffee: it’s high quality. They support a local microroaster in Auburn area and the it’s all light roast (for those who care about high quality beans). This is THE pit stop on the way to or from Tahoe. Thank me later. Cheers mate🤙🏼

On a weekend adventure up in Auburn and decided to stop by for an early afternoon coffee. They've got a spot in a beautiful building in old Auburn, with both upstairs and outdoor patio seating. They had a good selection of espresso drinks and an assortment of food options, although nothing too heavy. I ordered the drip coffee they brewed that day and my partner got a cortado. Both were delicious and hit the spot. The staff were friendly and the place was busy. No one was really in masks, including staff, but I believe the county either doesn't require it or enforce it. Otherwise the place was clean and they did a decent job managing the constant line. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area.

Great atmosphere! Definitely going to be a regular place to stop in to have a nice lunch/breakfast chill break!! I had an iced mocha latte and it was a little lacking in the espresso and mocha Department. Their chai latte is absolutely DELICIOUS and I can’t wait to try it with a few modifications next time! I’d love to explore the rest of their menu!

Who doesn't love a good pun? Who loves beer? And likes food? Easy answer: this Local Guide. The (sort of) young staff were great. They were very helpful with the draft beer selection and describing the menu items. The salads were a delicious dinner on a hot summer night.I was really happy to find this remarkable place. I'm staying in a different part of town and wanted a little walk and found The Pour Choice by searching for "beer" on Google Maps.I'll definitely return the next time I'm in Auburn.

Love this place and highly recommend to check it out if you happen to pass by.I agree with some of the comment that the price is Bay Area price. But my two cents is: this busy invest quite a bit so that this town can have something nice without having to go to SF Bay Area. And to be fair, this place uses good Verve coffee, and good pastries from Estelle Bakery (Sacramento). Again, you going to coffee shop for the atmosphere. Otherwise you can have it home, agree?Whether you like to enjoy your joe indoor or outdoor, this place won’t disappoint you. Check it out!
