The pharmacists and techs are always friendly and helpful but safeway refuses to staff them appropriately. Line is regularly over an hour and there is nowhere to sit. There isn't even a designated line area, so you have to stand in a merchandise aisle and get shoved out of the way by employees and customers while you wait. That "line" isn't even labeled so other "lines"regularly start in the nearby aisles and I have to explain I've been waiting an hour already because safeway won't designate or label and actual line, or staff properly.

Turned away too many times for medication I’ve been receiving for over a decade. The excuse always is our computer shows it’s your first time receiving it and we can’t sell it now because the pharmacist isn’t here now. Good bye to this place blah

Best service and waiting times in Auburn, however corprate has cut their budget which shows up as more waiting times. Safeway in Auburn can't keep competitive pricing unless they push their emplyee's to the MAX or worse. The only reason I shop at Safeway Bell Rd at all is because of the 10 years excellent service from the Pharmacy. They work their tails off and they still have great service but not as good as it used to be thanks to cut-backs.Treating your employee's poorly is one thing, providing LESS service for your customers is another. I suppose as long as they don't get rid of Andee or Linda I'll continue to be a loyal customer(Pharmacy)

Meh. Friendliness is hit or miss. They have to order meds and don't seem to have much in stock. Miscommunication between pharmacy tech and doctor a lot. Call and get "thank you for calling Safeway pharmacy can you please hold? Thanks." puts me on hold without a chance to speak. Sits on hold for a long time. I've had to return multiple times and wait multiple days because of their sub par service.

BEST PHARMACY I HAVE EVER USED!!!!! 10 out of 5 stars!!I have a life threatening condition which requires very expensive medication. My insurance is terrible and they refuse to cover my pills. I went into safeway and when Andy(ee)(ie) said that my medication required an authorization from my doctor, It seemed easy enough to get it. but my doctor was slow and not willing to push through the authorization.long story short- I couldn't get my meds that I cant live without, and i found a world class pharmacy with an amazing advocate that went to bat for me and fought to make sure I didn't fall through the cracks. I would reccomend this pharmacy and team to anyone, they are driven and caring professionals who are dedicated to what they do. shout out to Andee for her astounding work ethic!!!

The lead pharmacist is worthless. My mom slipped on ice and broke her wrist in Truckee and I live in Auburn so we went to fill it here and she wasted my time for 30 minutes and would not help us over a small formality that could have been handled later. She even called in a got verbal confirmation. Karma should be ruining her day sometime soon.
