Great little hole in the wall. The selection of items is great. I love their hardware section. The staff is always friendly and helpful. They love well behaved dogs as well. 🐕🐕‍ My dog Chevelle, loves going in and getting her treat... Great local hardware store for a small town.

For a small, out of the way, hardware store, they are surprisingly well stocked with a very helpful staff. It's a very pleasant experience to shop there.

This store consistently doesn't stay open during the posted hours. They always close 5-20 mins early. Tonight I got there a min before closing which can be considered rude somewhat. I really needed something. There were no workers in the shopping area. I had to track down an employee who then refused to ring me up for my item. I could have just walked out the door with it. Guess this is what happens when you do the right thing eh??

Extremely helpful and attentive. It makes your shopping quicker when you don’t have to wander through Home Depot looking for something. Feels like an old fashioned small town hardware store but they have so much stuff. I was surprised how much they have. The only thing they don’t seem to have is lumber. But they have every kind of gadget and gizmo you could possibly need for your home repair or building project. They even have pool chemicals. Wish I knew that before! I’m looking forward to learning their names and being on a first name basis with them.

I didnt go to ace hardware but I did have another awful awful experience with lake of the pines security. I go there to deliver a phone to a friend that is enough of a risk that the nevada county police were at her house that day for a 911 call. Her phone is broken and her internet is disconnected so she cant get me a guest pass. Her doctor has been on the phone with nevada county sherrifs all day just trying to get them to convince lake of the pines security to let me in to deliver her phone. I pull up and tell them who I am and they act pike they dont know but then a moment later tell me they are writing a report on the incident from earlier in the day. They direct me to 15 min parking and ask me to wait while they figure it out. I tell them its crucial this happens quickly. After 20 minutes I knock on the door and ask if they have heard anything. They say I cant go in. I tell them again why in here. They want to see my guest pass. I tell them again her phone is broken she has no internet she cannot make a guest pass for me and I already told you this 20 minutes ago. At this point there are 5 security guards in the building and I ask can one of you deliver it to her or take me to deliver it. This is not some scam im trying to pull. My friend needs help and im trying to help her. Please help me. They wont do anything to help.What an awful place. To the people that live there I hope you dont think your paid security is keeping you safe. If you were dying in your house they would want to see the ambulances guest pass that was trying to come help you. Awful awful people.

Helpfully people that are super nice!!! Limited selection (it's a small store) but enough to get the job done. Prices are a bit high for many items but you are paying for convenience and knowledgeable, competent assistance.

Great local hardware store. The shelves are packed with a lost everything you could need. Caution, you walk in to get 's nail, but then you see the new hammers, the new screwdrivers... lol, self control is required. The always have a few green kids in there but most the help is very knowledgeable. You might save a dollar driving to the big box store, but it will cost you five in gas to do so, and here they care about their customers.

I live a literal 3 minute drive from this ACE location and I’ve yet to come in and not be greeted/assisted before the door closes behind me. The staff are all very kind and attentive.🤘🏻🤘🏻

Gone here more times than I can count.Great selection for such a small store. Employees are especially helpful as well.Only downside, is pricing on some things are highway robbery. Like obscene expensive.Hardware is fair pricing though!

Mostly helpful staff and they got as much merchandise as they can cram in that little place. I try to do as much purchasing there as I can accept on big projects. I try to keep the little guy alive I DON'T want to see little guys lose to the giant box stores
