Don't join their inside track club. Its definitely not worth it.There's been multiple instances when I get ads online that Harbor Freight is having one of their promotions where you buy something and you get 3 free things if you're a member. So I go down to the store, buy something and request the free items only to be told that the store is only doing 1 free item, not like I saw on their advertisements. This is extremely annoying as that's part of why I joined the 'club' to begin with.The second gripe that I have is that the employees are not helpful when asked about the specials. Again there's been multiple instances where I ask an employee if they're running any deals for members or if there are coupons I can redeem while I'm there (I often stop by at the store on a whim or if I'm in the area - sometimes I also don't have my phone with me). In all instances, the employees say not today or I get a 'I don't care' shrug followed by a blank stare. I buy the items and then I proceed to check their app or my email and there's endless coupons for me to redeem. One time I actually went back to return an item and repurchase it using a coupon and the clerk up front had the audacity to give me attitude for trying to make a return and almost wouldn't do it.Because of these encounters I now only go to this store to buy the cheapest smallest items and I now stay away from buying anything else.Safe to say I will NOT renew my membership. I'll happily purchase my buckets elsewhere.

I am happy overall with the service and pricing. I don't like that without the receipt, you can not return any item with purchasing an extended warranty. I would guess I have spent close to $10,000.00 since this location has opened. It would be nice if they looked up the receipt. JMO

Well, it's Harbor Freight. For what they offer, this store has a lot of things in stock. Kinda fun walking around picking up a few things that are less expensive than some competitors. The staff was particularly friendly, and my wife and I thought highly of that. Will definitely return.

Came in to the store today to get a hand truck. Asked the girl, who happened to be a manager, think her name was Shauna to get me one since they are carried in the back of the store. She was not very friendly and acted like I was bothering her. After she got the hand truck from the back, I was going to wheel it up to the front like a gentleman should do, and she said rudely I got it and it would be up front by the cashier.To top it off, I made my purchase and on the way out, realized the cashier gave me the incorrect change. My bill was $103 and some change. I gave him $105. He gave me back $21 and some change. I came back it and told him he gave me too much money back. He was very polite and thankful. He consulted with the same manager lady and once again she was very rude. She took the cash drawer and went to count it to make sure I was correct. She came back and said I was correct and only owed $1 and some change back.No thank you for being honest. No thank you for bringing it to their attention so the cashier doesn’t get In Trouble. No nothing.I will never go to this location again as this manager needs some serious work on her attitude and customer service. Not a good way to retain a long time customer.

Can't go wrong with some of the deals you can get here. Gotta pick and choose though. Most things are easy to tell if it's quality or just a waste of money.

Horrible customer service and product quality. DO NOT purchase a generator from Harbor Freight Tools. Total product scam. I bought a predator generator and purchased the 2 year extended service agreement. Within TWO weeks the generator started leaking and would not turn back on. YES TWO WEEKS OF USE!!! I returned the next day and they charged me a $120 restocking fee and I did not even use the product 3 times. DO not buy from Harbor Freight tools.

Love harbor freight they have so much cool stuff that my son and I bought a underwater camera and small monitor why we have no idea but it was cool we had to have one think we used it once it was only 100.00 and some change . But they have every tool and more it a man's store lol

One of my favorite stores and this one is top notch. No matter the time of day I have visited the store is immaculate and stocked. There are plenty of employees available and ready to help or answer questions without feeling they are hovering constantly. Knowledgeable about products, policies, etc.

This branch is the worst customer service. Everyone is saying they are busy but no one really went their way to help. They rather lose a sale, than help. I needed the scaffolding very badly, and trying to figure out if I can just have all pieces put in the back of my car (which I have plenty space since the seats can come down) than taking the whole box. Cashiers and sales associates were not smiling and seemed unhappy with their work when I approached them and not really wanting to go the extra miles to make the sale happens. Customer service is really important, if you have this kind of team in your branch, customers will not come back. Definitely not recommending this branch. Not even a star deserves this team of workers today.

Google needs to implement a zero star option for places like this.Bought a Jackery 400 watt portable power station after consulting with a sales associate -- was told that she owns the same one and is able to power her heated blanket, desk lamp, and charge her phone over night only draining only about 30% of the Jackery's battery. After using it to only power my heated blanket, it died in about two hours. Prior to purchasing, I asked about the return policy and was told I had 90 days to return with the receipt.Here's where they lost me as a customer forever. I tried to return it the very next day as it clearly did not satisfy my needs. Found out upon returning it that there is a 20% restocking fee, which came out to $56.00. I explained that nobody mentioned that to me, even after asking about the return policy. Tried to talk to a manager, but she was rude as can be and wouldn't even come out from the back stocking area to talk to me face to face. She said there's nothing she could do and that the price tag says "subject to restocking fee" on it. I went to look for myself, and to my surprise, it actually did say subject to restocking fee but written in 2 pt font so nobody can see it. She also gave me an attitude and told me it says right there on the receipt -- Lady, you only get a receipt after purchase, as we all know so that's just a complete BS thing to say to anyone.Congrats, Harbor Freight, Auburn, California -- I will never come back and will do my best to stear other people away from your business for as long as I live in the area. I am beginning with this review and not stopping there. Thanks for stealing $56.00 from me.

Aside from the pushy, rude cashiers they have it's a good place to get what you need to break..I watched the cashier berate an older gentleman (I'm 64) because he didn't want to sign up for the inner circle club. She was such a smart mouth I couldn't believe it.After 2 or 3 minutes of asking him why he didn't want to join she says "Well it's your choice if you want to pay more, I don't care" "dumb move but, whatever"Of course she hit me with the question, and I declined and said "please don't ask me why"... I got away unscathed unlike the fella in front of me who left trembling and beaten .

$30 membership to receive the posted prices on the shelf.I won't pay $30 for a membership to get the advertised price.So I left with nothing and will not be back.HF can keep the misleading advertising and the paid membership and the rest of it.My fault for supporting China 🇨🇳Two stars instead of one because it's not the employee's fault corporate office is out of touch and the manager was polite.

Hate to write this because I love Harbor Freight. I was looking for a specific tool that wasn't at my local shop. Called to this location to confirm they had one in stock. Called and they confirmed they had one left. Told them i was on my way. Not once did they say they couldnt hold it after asking them to. After a 40 min drive I arrive to find out they have one in store but no one can find it. They also tell me they don't hold items and it its likely in someone's cart. 3 people there and not in any persons cart. Not helpful and not very compassionate for wasting hours of someone's day. Was planning on spending at least $300 but refused to give this store a dime.

I called looking for small tires for a lawnmower cart. The person on the phone would not take tire # instead told me to do my homework and order on line. Terrible customer service. I will never go to them again.

This is an excellent Harbor Freight location and has become a regular stop when I need a new tool or some quick gear.It's a prett small store overall, but it is very well organized and is kept well stocked. The front end registers are laid out rather strangly and can get kindaq jammed up when it's busy, but overall the store is great.This location also tends to have great staff who are very helpful and friendly. The manager in particualr always seems to go the extra mile to help out customers.

Don't even think about returning a gift someone gave you from HFT unless you have rudely requested a receipt from the gifter because the folks at HFT will not accept it even for an exchange under any circumstances. Poor customer service.
