I recently had several prescriptions filled at this particular CVS, pharmacy, at wolf and Combie Rd., Grass Valley CA. There is such an immense improvement in the service at the pharmacy now as compared to several months ago. I stopped going there, because of quite frankly the horrible service that I was receiving and did not plan to go back except I had an emergency and it was the best choice as far as location. I’m so glad I did. The pharmacist was friendly and informative. All the staff was incredibly friendly. Since then I can call the pharmacy and actually speak to somebody and not be put on terminal hold. They have made incredible improvements and I highly recommend them. If you stopped going there because of the terrible service from the past give them another try.

I think this store has had tremendous improvement over the past 6 months. The new manager keeps the store clean and the employees are great. The previous employees like Lisa were HORRIBLE and needed to go. It's a nice friendly place to go and I think you're doing a great job! Kudos to Jessica the manager and Darla who is one friendly and helpful person! <3

I used to dread picking up a prescription at the pharmacy...long wait lines and could never get through by phone. I don't know if this was caused by the Covid situation or not, but I feel the need to write this review because now everything has changed! I've never had more than one person in front of me waiting the pick up a prescription. Consistently there are more employees working in the pharmacy. Everyone is very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. It's a pleasure to do business with them!

Wonderful store with kind and caring employees. In a community where it can be tough to make a come back, this store has done it! Under new general store management and pharmacy management, this store has gained a knowledgeable, hardworking new staff which is what this community needed. The pharmacy answers phone calls promptly, there are no more long lines or wait times and prescriptions can be processed while you shop!

Went in on Christmas Eve of all nights and the employee Darla was dressed in her Christmas outfit and helping everyone as fast as possible! She helped me with an amazing smile and happy personality and I am so glad they got this girl on their team!! TOTAL ROCKSTAR and the place is SO MUCH BETTER than a year ago!! Great Job Darla! ( and manager!! )

Absolutely the worse. Last 2 months nothing but problems and 1 hour lines.( combine CVS) They almost caused great damage to my daughter. They don’t answer the phones. They are greatly understaffed. It takes 3 trips to get your prescription.The new pharmacist is rude. The front staff are over worked and overwhelmed. Upper management is at fault and needs to help.

I hate to pile on, but this location clearly needs an intervention from Corporate—today. The poor pharmacists seem to be at the mercy of a wholly incompetent staff, led by a guy with less than zero customer service acumen. I showed up on time for a scheduled vaccination and left two hours later. This place makes pharmacies in failing nation-states look like four star hotels.CVS Corporate: please take action, or call the demolition team to just raze the place.

CVS Combie rd won’t answer their phone when you want a prescription filled. The doctor ordered a med. days ago. I tried to call- I went into the store and the wait time was one hour. I told the tech that I tried to call and she very rudely said “ I can help you or answer the phone”. I am transferring my prescription to a different pharmacy. Plus, bonus - a lot cheaper and they answer their phone + polite!

They don't answer their phone, lines to pick up prescriptions are long and wait time is ridiculous. My doctor will call in a prescription and they will either get it wrong or say they haven't received it. The people working in the pharmacy are usually very nice and apologetic. They will tell you they won't hire enough people.

This place has absolutely went way down hill. The store itself is dirty and the staff has little to no customer service. Sadly, the store is better than the Pharmacy!! They only give you excuses “Sorry, we’re short staff”, they NEVER even attempt to answer the phone, and there auto system says your prescription is ready when it isn’t!! I tried to call their Corporate office to let them know, but even they didn’t answer the phone! I’m done…I’ll pay the extra gas and go elsewhere with better service. I wish they had a 0 star rating!

Their pharmacy does not care!!! I was standing in line with four CVS employees behind the counter and the phone intercom announced five pharmacy calls waiting by the time I got to the counter it was seven pharmacy calls waiting and still no one bothered to answer the phone. Three days later I called and was on hold for forty minutes finally hung up. Today I e-mailed CVS and again ten hours later no response. I will not frequent CVS ever again

You often have to wait in line forever for your prescription and then even though you got a text saying it is ready it doesn’t always mean it is. I went a few days ago and it was a 2 hour line to pickup a prescription then today it was 45 minutes.

THE worst pharmacy’s I have ever had the displeasure of using. A couple people are good but the processes suck. After 14 years of using them, you would think they could follow through on the same medication month after month!!! They send personal information repeatedly to the wrong DR...so use at your own RISK!

Worst pharmacy experience every singe time. And it’s so unfortunate because it’s the only one close to my home unless I want to drive into town. Alerts received about ATBs being ready yet when you go to pick them up they aren’t actually ready for pick up. They are not friendly, no such thing as service with a smile. Each time I hope it will be different but each time it’s a super frustrating experience. 😕

Generally a good store with helpful, courteous staff. Mary's a good manager but Taggart (sp?) is an emotional wreck who yells at customers like a immature bully on the playground. He should be in the back room stacking boxes not facing customers and driving away long standing customers. Also - they shouldn't always run short of hand baskets.

Had an appointment for a flu shot. Pharmacist told me it would be another 30 - 60 minutes as they were short staffed. It seems walkups have a higher priority than appointments.

The worst thing a person can do for someone in pain needing an RX is hang up on them. And the meanest lady at this pharmacy hung up on me. This place is no help at all!!

This pharmacy is awful. They will routinely ask you to sit around for 30-60 minutes when something isn’t ready after you’re told it would be.

The lil nerd Manger went as far as to threaten me and accused me of being a thief .I've been a customer of this store for 10 plus years and we'll never step foot near the dump again (look at my rewards card I spend more than u make in a month)

Well I just went to CVS to get two money orders and they asked me for a drivers license there is no other place in the United States that asked for a drivers license when you get a money order why does CVS have to ask for a drivers license they will not give you a money order without a drivers license why is this like this someone needs to look into it
