Everything I need can always be found here.The staff here are absolutely fabulous. Ace hardware is a perfect option when wanting to avoid large hardware stores.The store is very organized, clean, and everything is easy to find. There is plenty of parking and good prices.

I was there recently looking for a part for our propane stove. An employee, and I believe the manager, went out of their way to help me search for the part. They didn't have it so looked online for a local store that might. They even wrote down directions! I am so appreciative.

Ace saved the day with having a water pump on supply during a big rain storm. My visit turned into an educational opportunity when other topics of new homeownership came into casual conversation. What a day! But staff definitely put me at ease. Thank you!

I had called everyone in town and they were all going to charge me a whole bunch of money to get my broken glass replaced. I called ace to see what they could do and they were very welcoming and told me to come on in. I dealt with mike in the glass cutting department and he was soo nice!! I was having such a hard time getting my window in the frame and he helped me, best ace I've ever been too. Amazing customer service and more than fair pricing!! Highly recommend

Well... I'm done with this place. I literally live within walking distance and will go to home depot instead. They are just rude here. Walk in 15 minutes before they close and the employee says, "what are you looking for, we close in 15 minutes." Last time. Won't go here again. It's terrible like most local businesses in Auburn. Sad really, I try to buy local but the service and hours are beyond horrible.Old review: First, the hours here are pretty terrible. Who expects to cater to typical working people but only stay open to 6 pm? You're a retail store, you need to be open later on weekdays... but this is pretty typical of any small store in Auburn.So... I went here a couple weeks ago as its close to my house and all I needed was some sealant. Found my sealant which I expected to be more expensive than Home Depot... It was... then went to check out... The lady at the counter was chatting with other employees... barely said two words to me... handed me my receipt without even looking at me... I said thank you... didn't even acknowledge anything, no your welcome, or even a glance... When this store was TruValue I barely went because of the high prices. But when you don't even get typical customer service, why am I going to go here?

I am very happy with our local ACE Hardware store! I have no idea what anyone else expects, but I have always had very friendly service, and I know I can always count on someone to help me immediately! I feel very fortunate to still have an actual "hardware" store like them to count on! If you've ever gone to a Home Depot store looking for someone to help you, the employees all seem to scatter the minute they detect you may need some help. Not this ACE store!!! They are EXTREMELY helpful!!!

Amazing how much a store with such a modest footprint actually carries. I regularly find items here that I can't get at Home Depot. If it does need to be ordered, it's generally a very quick turnaround. Small town hardware store feel and people who excel at serving customers with a smile.

Great place. I was greeted immediately from a very pleasant lady who then asked what I was looking for, and she gave me perfect directions to what I needed. Saved me a bunch of time from wandering around looking. I thought they were really nice and have quite a selection of items.

It's a relatively small store, so they may not have everything, but in the many times I've stopped here they always seem to have what I need, especially when other stores in the area do not. Super helpful employees and the store always seems well staffed.

I like to give business to my local hardware store when I can. Always helpful service, pretty good selection (actually a great selection of fasteners - much better than Home Depot), and the prices are ok. Very much a local neighborhood hardware store feel.

In my local ACE store (2 blocks from my home), products may cost a little more than the big guys, but I save more than the difference in gas. I love their sales and their clearances and it seems they always have the odd/hard to find product I need, and always with the "more than happy to help employees". Great Variety for such a small store.and P.S. - my newly-cut KEYS always worked.
