Worst pharmacy I’ve EVER been to. Slow, slow, slow. Call to make sure your order is ready and when you get there they’ll STILL make you wait forever OR the pharmacist will be on lunch at 5pm and even though you’ve waited half an hour in line you can’t be issued your prescription until they’re back. Best of all, if you turn up and get a name right you could collect anyone’s prescription! They didn’t ask the date of birth, address, relation to patient - anything at the drive up window. Some serious liability for Walgreens…

Chad, even at night you should greet customers that come up to the register. Also, carding a 40 year old guy and refusing to sell them alcohol is just rude. Nonetheless, thank you for reminding me why I prefer to shop online.

The managers will come up front and spend more time yelling and causing a scene about no checkers, then they would if they just rang us up. Everyone should check, you’re not above anything.., I feel bad for the employees in this store. The leadership is poor at best.

Chad shouldn't be working for Walgreens. Horrible customer service. If I had to give 500 negative stars I would. He sucks big time. What a LOSER. Hopefully they fire him. Horrible experience with that loser.

Try your luck with online pick up. Had to call the store after getting a text that there was an issue with my order, after 10 minutes of being transferred the manager told me their online stock doesn’t always match because people steal too much lol

They didn't have my prescription in stock so they said they would order it from one of 5 wholesalers but after a week they admitted that the place they ordered it from didn't have it and we were waiting for nothing. Also had problems with rude staff assuming I didn't want my $50 inhaler and one time my return never credited to my account. Would be 1 star but they are the only local pharmacy with reasonable hours and the only place that even carries my prescription. Wish I could go elsewhere.

Good services and access but Covid has sometimes reduced the staff and caused shorter hours of operation. Just can't be helped.

I just had the worst experience I’ve ever had picking up a prescription at the drive-thru window at the Atascadero Walgreens (around 5 pm on Friday July 28). After waiting more than 20 minutes while the cashier chatted to the customer in front of me, she spent another 10 minutes processing a credit card payment for my simple antibiotic prescription. She had to be slow-walking it, because it shouldn’t have taken more than a minute to run a credit card. Needless to say, next time I’ll try RiteAid or CVS.

Attn owner: I dont care if they're staff is rude. Just have my medication in stock. I need them! I'm Not talking one time, it's a 50/50 chance that I will get turned away and have spend the long process to get a hold of the docter to send the Rx. to CVS.

Jennifer was extremely rude she needs to learn how to talk to customers I think she may be a little to comfortable with how she speaks to people at work. I called to ask about a prescription and the urgency to it she said when it was requested it was at a cut of period so I can ask other pharmacies around if they have it and then I could get it transferred to them I said okay. I called back to ask when it would be available at their pharmacy since the other ones don’t have it either. She got on the phone saying “didnt I just talk to you?” “I told you it would be here tomorrow after 4pm” “ or you can ask other pharmacies if they have it today” uhm first off even if she did tell me is that a way to talk to someone ? Secondly she didn’t mentioned it being ready after 4 the next day… always be kind because you never know what your customers have been through.. I’ll never do business here for medication again.

went to pick up meds but it was busy, the lady helped people inside and then in the window outside to help the cars and completely forgot about the second line which i was in. she did that about a few times. waited over 30 min

Pharmacy is horrendous; excessively long lines & slow moving, rude staff. I made a vaccine appointment & waited more than 30 minutes after the appointment time for them to just enter me into their system. Staff walked away from me multiple times to help w/the drive up window w/no explanation of what was going on, while holding my insurance & vaccination cards. Finally gave up & asked for my cards back, the other staff member who had them couldn't even be bothered to take a few extra steps to hand them to me, she gave them to another staff member who was helping another customer.

Do not use their pharmacy unless you plan on dying of old age waiting in line. Average wait time if there is more than one car is 20+ minutes. Currently sitting in line at the drive through for the past 30 minutes and only 3 cars have been processed. I can understand a slow down from time to time but not almost EVERY time for the past six months. I am moving my scripts after today.

I only go into Walgreens if no other place on this planet has what I need. Over the years they are consistently bad on service and they have higher prices than Rite Aid and CVS. I went in a few days ago to get something but could not find it. A female employee passes me but fails to ask if I need anything and doesn't look at me. She is working and not on a break. I walk up to William at the register and ask very nicely if i can get help in the Beauty section. He replies, "i guess" with an attitude that I am bothersome. A different female employee who arrived to assist me was super nice. I will never go into this Walgreens again. No way.

This store is so unorganized and slow. I used Walgreens in Visalia and they were horrible too. I recently moved here and transferred my prescriptions to the Atascadero store. What a mistake. I thought it was just a glitch with the Visalia store. I was wrong. The Atascadero one is just as bad, if not worse.If you use the automated service, they tell you they didn't receive the request even though they send a text verifying Rx. Then you get notice saying they are ready for pick up. You wait 30 min. in line and they tell you it's not available til next day. Last month they said they had no Rx for me, but when I showed them the notice sent on my phone, they hunt around and find it. O called in 3 personally last month, was told they'd be ready the next day. I go next day and they say they only had 1 rx that was called in! I talked to a human that time and they did take the request. How can they be so inept and stay in business?

This was the worst experience I’ve ever had at a pharmacy. The staff was rude and demeaning. I can’t believe how horrible it was. I will never ever go to this store again. We waited over 2 hours with our kids for our vaccines. Don’t get one from here. Run away from this place!

Rude non helpful employees that won't even check on items for you! Then on top of it..when the lady checks you out she starts talking about your item...gets lost and forgets to hot the payment part. So basically not paying attention! These employees must realize the work in a customer service store! Just horrible!!!

Bunch of sharks!!!My mother has Medicare and Medi-Cal and this is the second time we go in and they want to charge her for her medication. After presenting all her insurance documents when we dropped off the proscriptions.They charged her the full fee for the medications and didn’t say a word that it’s not covered at all. I had to call them after the fact to find out.That’s the summery of our neighborhood pharmacy. Not going there again.

I've been going to this store since you've opened your doors. I would never use another pharmacy personnel are kind and caring , especially pharmacist Adam, they remember my name and my issues without having to explain them every time. I especially like Luanna in beauty products , she always has good suggestions and is very friendly

Went in at 7pm and was pleasantly surprised to find the pharmacy staffed. I was helped immediately by a tech, who pulled in the pharmacist to answer my OTC drug questions for managing early kidney stone symptoms. He was very polite and had immediate answers to my questions. They were good answers. I've had a half dozen of these, and his advice both matched and went well beyond what I already knew. I left with three meds that are doing quite a good job on these lesser symptoms, while I wait to see a doctor tomorrow to deal with he escalation.

Ridiculous wait times, RXs are not ready when promised, terribly understaffed. Drive thru pharmacy is the only part open, and I was kept on hold for over 20 mins when I called. 10/10 would not recommend. Go anywhere else!!

We have been getting our prescriptions at Walgreens in Atascadero for over 20 years. Most of the employees in the pharmacy are helpful and nice. However, there is a couple one in particular that is rude every single time I've talked to her. She talks to you as if you are stupid and she raps you are the knuckles like attitude.

Was I here to get my holiday cards and some of there sale items. There was only 1 cashier long long line. and poor girl only had 1 hand to work with her other hand was in a sling. she did the best she could with that 1 arm. the store was fully stock and good.just the poor girl I felt bad.

I arrived around 10 am. There was a line. It went pretty fast. It all depends what ppl need at the counter.The personal were training a new employee. She apologized. I had np.I expressed it to the clerk. I picked up 6 items & left. One they sped it thru.I'm plzd w my time there.

Last time I was here, the lady told me 10-15 minutes so I ran some errands (timed it at 30 minutes) even though nobody else was in line. When I came back, the lady told me it'd be another 30 minutes which I wasn't going to wait for since I live out of town. Today, I called the pharmacy to see if my medications were ready in advance. They basically accused me of being a drug abuser saying that they won't refill my NEEDED medications because they can't seem to do elementary math on dosing. I've had numerous other problems with this pharmacy and I'm fed up. I will no longer take my business here even if it means I have to pay more.

My insurance changed my pharmacy from CVS. I have had nothing but issues with Walgreens. I must take drugs from a specific manufacturer and they can not get it correct to save their lives. I had to come back 4 times, got charged 2x what I should have, and they still didn't have the correct amount of my medication. Do not trust what's in the bag they hand you. Check before you leave.
