The pharmacy used to be pretty good! They need to step it up. The ER sent over my prescriptions last night before 6pm.. it's almost 10:30am the next day & I'm told I now have to wait another 30 min for my meds to be ready. It's another 40 min drive home, being told to elevate my ankle & stay off of it doesn't help when you have to wait for your antibiotics. I've gotta find a new pharmacy!

If I had a choice, I'd not left the 1 star due 2 the fact that I had no choice, ... I'm disgusted by the person working here she's got the worst attitude and people skills is worst she's a deterrent for sure I hadn't been to this store in a long time and well i guess she'd be 1 of the reasons... her names Abby I asked for a price check and she looked at me and said that the store was closing it was 9:40 and wouldn't give me a price check I'd originally come in 2 get a money order as well, all I'm saying is that if the stores looking 2 keep people away she's what you defently got N hate to state this but she has RACIST COMING OUT OF HER PORES WE'VE GOT SO MUCH GOING ON IN THIS WORLD ALREADY WE DON'T NEED 2 ADD any more hate especially rite in our back yard's... this is not something we need here we've got more then enough. I think if anything she shouldn't be working with the public if she' can't at least play off the fact she's not ok with others .

Just an incredibly awful interface with 'Tammy', general manager... of what? Profiled me from moment of entry. I greeted, yet, she didn't greet me. Demanded me to leave my bag behind the counter. Followed me around the store. Never offered checkout assistance. Never said, 'Thank you'. I felt like a convict on parole. I know times are challenging for all, but, dang...sometimes a customer is only that; a customer. Never again, Rite Aid. No wonder you're closing stores nationwide. Too many Tammys. I definitely will not go back.

Very poor customer service , me being a shorter younger looking 21 year old always seems to get followed around as soon as I approach any sort of alcohol, if i’m buying it or not. I was going to the snack isle but had stumbled down the alcohol isle by accident see an elderly employee rush toward me thinking i’m going to steal alcohol and follow me out of the isle until proceed to the snack isle? I have no absolute reason why ? maybe because kids these days steal it I don’t know. Every time i come into this place it’s not welcoming , i think this specific store location needs a refresher on customer service , overall i think the people who work here hate their job and are miserable, every encounter i have here is negative and I never feel welcomed , another time i had walked in 20 minutes before closing and they didn’t fail to remind me 5+ times the store was closing if i could leave 0 stars i would

I don't use the pharmacy on a regular basis for refills. I only go when I or a family member need a RX filled, maybe 6-7 times a year. It is a rarity to actually find my RX ready at Rite Aid. It even got to the point where I would wait an extra day just to give them plenty of time and it was still almost always the same answer, "Come back in 20 minutes". Then you have to wait in line again which is almost always at least 10-15 minutes. The final straw was my last trip when, after calling and being told it would be ready on Wednesday, I went in on Thursday just to be safe. I got the "come back in 20 minutes" response. I got a little frustrated with the clerk and she got very patronizing and rude. When I got home I called in to voice a complaint and was told the manager would call me back. I never heard from anyone. They do have some nice people working there but overall this Rite Aid pharmacy is unprofessional and incompetent. Luckily we have a CVS and Walgreens nearby.UPDATE: After leaving my review (3 weeks after my visit and not receiving a call back from the pharmacy manger) I filed an online complaint with Rite Aid’s web site. A few days later the local Pharmacy manager finally called. He said he was calling in response to my online complaint. When I asked why he had not returned my call 3 weeks earlier, he said he had called in sick during that time. I pointed out it had been 3 weeks. He then said the original message I left for him must have “gotten lost”. I have even less respect for Rite Aid now. When I tried to handle it with the local pharmacy manager at the beginning, he ignored me and wouldn’t return my call. After his corporate office made him call, he was obviously being dishonest with me. This shows me Rite Aid has no desire to improve its customer service, they are only trying to appease the folks who have bad experiences. Very disappointing.

Abby was very rude, and it was uncalled for. I entered the store 10 minutes before closing to grab 1 item and she treated me like I'm some sort of jerk, trying to be very stern about how they are about to close and i need to hustle, i still smile and thank her for her concern. Not even 5 minutes later she's hounding me to hurry up and get out. It's retail Abby, I did it for 7 years, sometimes people come in before closing, you can hold the attitude for 10 minutes. 9:58 I check out, and she needs to escort me out because she's already locked the door. I'm switching pharmacies I rather drive across town than be treated like some nuisance.

They should drug test their employees. I’m getting better at handling “managers” on duty and won’t ask another employee for help. It’s tiring when that person could be a self check line. It’s like taking a deep breath and waiting for them to be really rude on camera and everyone around to make it your fault. Today, I am still thinking about going in the store (yesterday) and buying an energy drink and the lady calling me “ma’am” to placate me. Also “miss” is appropriate because we may be age challenged but maam should be a sign of respect, not a default term because she never asked my name. This person, at Rite Aid Atascadero’s name was Tami. This happened noon 12/02/23 I’m not sure if this is an Atascadero Rite Aid trend where they are so absorbed in that they think they can tell me they know my card isn’t working or think to ask if I want to pay cash(?) I leave and waste the extra time to go to 99 cent store and not go into the store, to never go to Rite Aid unless I’m not in Atascadero and waste my time/sanity; the people other stores know how to do all the things they need to be trained to do. It really shouldn’t be in any company policy to tell someone they are the problem because it’s also anti-Christian for them to do that.

We really have to bring back customer service. Badly treated by someone running 2 registers this morning at 9:30. It wasn't a miss understand. It was deliberate. I've been with rite aid along time, but I will move my prescriptions somewhere else.

People working doesn’t do their job doesn’t care .I am waiting refill my prescription 5 days.I wish company to know very horrible business to do in ride aid.Today came my medication not ready but call in morning they told me ready at noon now stop by at 8 pm but need told waiting 30 minutes. Somebody can taking care this pharmacy doing right taking care Prescription onetime what tell people.Horrible business.

The woman at the counter was very rude. She is a middle aged white woman with a horrible attitude. My family and I waited about 15 min for ice cream while she attended other customers who came in after us. She kept telling us to hold on and we finally hopped in line and pretty much forced her to get us the ice cream.And wait it doesn't end there. She obviously needed training on serving the ice cream because the moment she handed me my double scoop the scoops fell right off the cone because they were just sitting on the rim and not pushed into the cone. She just watched and turned her back on me and ignored my call for another scoop and attended the line once more. Won't be coming back ever

This is a good store to go to for decorations. They also have good deals on hygene. I have only had one bad experiance but every other time has been satisfactory!

My husband and I switched from Walgreens to Rite Aid and have not been the least bit disappointed. Staff is so much friendlier and delightful. Would certainly recommend Rite Aid.

I give 3 stars, because the Rite Aid in Paso Robles is better. They need to do a better job keeping their beer/alcohol beverage section up to date on sales markings for the cost of items (yellow tags). Cleaning the back of the store instead of just the front area. Is there a manager? Also, I have been there about 100 times and they still act like they don’t know who I am. The lady at the front might be delirious, so I let it go, but today she literally started punching the keys for me on the checkout, as if I didn’t know what I was doing. I said something about it and she told me how wrong I was. I told her about the sale prices not being displayed and she treated me w obvious contempt. I can go to Walgreens up the street from now on or at least Paso Robles rite aid to utilize my rewards. I am rarely treated like a valued customer here.

I wish I could give them 10 stars. They are just so wonderful there. They are constantly working so hard and really make me and my mom feel like they really care about each person. We've been going there for I think about less than a year, and I was going to cvs in paso, the worse pharmacy ever is cvs in paso. They call you and or text you saying your medication is ready and when you get there it's a line out the door, they are super rude, and then its not ready and they didn't even fill it, they are constantly losing stuff, etc. It's just constantly horrible and I was going there for years upon years, I get there busy etc. And i know we all have bad days but they shouldn't be snappy and rude and they are just a constant mess there. Rite Aid in atascadero is like a breathe of fresh air, they honestly really care. Today in the drive thru Iwas picking up my medication and just came from the hospital and the lady in the drive thru, asked how I was doing, if I needed anything else and hoped I feel better, etc. Each and every person there has just been so great to not only me but my mom and dad who they switched from cvs to rite aid as well, yes we live in paso but it is absolutely worth it. Just wanted to say Thank You and we appreciate all you do.

Absolutely disgusting service. Came to switch pharmacies, Allison was Very short, waving papers thru the glass at us because we wanted to confirm the information was correct. terrible attitude and overall a completely unprofessional and inexcusable behavior. I will NEVER be coming here again.

These people are beyond rude they're actually cruel. If I was asking them to rebuild a helicopter I would understand why they would be having trouble with it but when I asked for prescriptions and they just can't figure it out I just don't understand it.

Many years ago, the service was very delayed. But, I have NEVER had a rude experience. The service in the front of the store and at the pharmacy is incredible!! I cannot say this for Walgreens. Terrible and humiliating. I have always enjoyed gathering knowledge about my new prescriptions and when the pharmacist comes by to wave, smile, or ask with genuine concern how I am. I LOVE this pharmacy and the people who provide me and my family many services!!! God bless you ALL...and have a safe and healthy New Year!!!...you and yours!

I'm giving two stars because they do have a drive-up pharmacy which I like. But I went inside on Tuesday to pick-up a prescription and grab a couple of items, but turn around and went out and used the drive-up instead and didn't buy my items. No employees were wearing masks in the store, nor were the customers. And there was no social distancing that I could see. I didn't feel safe in this store.

I came in to pick up my medication and was humiliated, berated and discriminated in front of patrons by the dark haired, unprofessional woman working the register. I called my physician to have my prescription sent to Walgreens instead. I will not be coming Back to Rite aid.So as you can see, I received a response from Rite Aid. My response looks just like all other responses to negative reviews. Just an automatic response with no human from customer care reading the reviews. There is no professionalism or heart at Rite Aid. Just another corporate business that does not care about its unprofessional employees treating its customers will I'll contemp, embarrassments and discrimination. I feel being a white male did not help the situation.So I just picked up my medication from Walgreens. I was treated like any other paying customer should be treated. With courtesy and RESPECT! Walgreens is my new pharmacy.

I love absolutely everyone that works at the Atascadero Rite Aid. They bend over backwards for me. Makes me feel like family the minute I walk through the doors. I have Diabetes and MS and I’ve been given some great recommendations. That really care!

I will never go to this rite aid pharmacy again. Ever even to shop. The drive thru is the most horrible experience and the person who was attending the drive thru on 2/4/20 at about 3:30pm was the nastiest and unintelligible person I've encountered. I expect professional, helpful and supportive staff.

I have been using Rite Aid for years. I have built a good repor. But feeling upset after having a emergency and the hospital sending my prescription to Rite Aid and finding it closed after the App, the website, and the sign on the window says it closes at 10:00 and it was only 6:00. Very unprofessional when people are putting their lives into your hands.

I have been going to my rite aid in atascadero for 10 years, and I can't see myself going anywhere else. The staff is all so friendly to me. And the pharmacist and all the employees in there are all so helpful treat me so respectfully and nice and I just can't see myself going anywhere else I love my rite aid

The only reason I use this place is for the drive thru. Why is it closed? There’s no reason for that! Why are you making me wait in line standing near people who probably have Covid for 1/2 hour? This kind of nonsense is why people order on-line.
