Worst customer service experience of my life. My friend and i went into the store nearly an hour before closing to buy a couch and other items for my new home. While we were picking out a couch, "jessica" closed the register by the couches and refused to let us make a purchase. She treated us so badly that my friend had a panic attack. To add insult to injury, Jessica literally followed us out of the store to further harass us. I will never be going to big lots again and spent thousands of dollars elsewhere when i was ready to shop at big lots and buy a couch that night. I cant believe an employee would treat us like this, yelling and argumentative when customers wanted to make a large purchase. I usually never would say this, but this woman should NOT be working in customer service. She needs serious help and big lots will continue to lose thousands in revenue if they continue to keep her on board. I got a lovely couch and experience from a nearby local business instead.

Absolutely FILTHY!I don't have very high expectations for discount stores, but this one managed to put me off to the point I didn't feel comfortable purchasing anything. There are piles of trash in the middle of the aisle, the floors are filthy, there are virtually no price tags on items, and the store is so egregiously disorganized you can't trust the prices on the shelves.I feel bad for the owners of this establishment for wasting their money on obviously incompetent staff.

I thought it was going to be a nice place to shop but I was disappointed. It was messy and disorganized badly. Things were empty. Things were just laying on the floor, pushed around, not organized. Things were lying against other things on the floor( wall paintings). The furniture seemed just put by the front of the store. Some were hard to get to. You couldn't see them and try it out. I only saw one employee, and he was at the checkout. There were a few of us in line waiting, and no one called for more employees to check out. I will probably not shop at this store again but might try in another area.

Jessica and Armando were amazing . They were so helpful and patient while I had my twins. They put in extra effort to make sure I had exactly what I asked for. They had good energy and smiles the entire time. It was a very trusting environment and experience. I’m grateful for the team at this location.

I've been coming back to the store because you can always catch a sale or clearance and for the most part associates are decent but don't go out of their way to help, I've had one young lady who did work here but hadn't seen her now over a year ago who was very friendly & seemed to be in a good mood mostly & going out of her way to help customers but like I said I've not seen her for some time now.

Holy cow, so much to choose from.Went there "just to look" and two of us left with two full grocery carts. I got an EXTREMELY comfortable recliner, that I'm loving! And an outside gravity chair that has a side table.

Huge Thank You To Angela, this woman goes above and beyond to really ensure the customers in this store are well taken care of. I personally have worked in this plaza for 8 years and I dont think I have met a single Big Lots Employee who puts the work in like she does. She is either assisting a customer or busy making sure the store is presentable. Her customer service is outstanding and her work ethic is almost un heard of or even seen these days!

I always come in this store and this employee named Angela has always been pleasant and is very helpful! She loves to help and assist! Every time I’m in the store when she’s working, she is working very hard and is so consistent with customer service! She is great! She needs a raise!

big lots sells quite a bit of gluten free snacks and other gluten free items. its hard to find snacks that I can eat with these allergies.

I've always enjoyed shopping at Big lots they've always had killer deals but my experience today was less than enjoyable not a single worker asked me if I needed help with anything and I most definitely needed help when I did finally find the plastic totes there was no prices on any of them sadly to say I left the store empty-handed today and quite ticked off and one last thing I have never been to a Big lots and seen it in such disarray everything was all over the place has a child came through with having horrific temper tantrum cuz it didn't back look like someone came through and took things off the shelves and scattered them all around nothing was in its spot making it really hard to shop

Redeemed an old gift card. Worked out just fine. I did find multiple items without pricing. Hard to select without knowing what I have to pay. A bit overpriced on what I needed but with times as they are...what are ya gonna do??

This store is an absolute mess and has been for quite some time now there is absolutely no excuse especially nothing about covid 19 and/or short staffed no excuses at all are acceptable for how dirty and filthy this store is how unorganized it is the employees there are so unfriendly they have no customer service skills whatsoever they need to be all fired The management there as well needs to be fired I heard they do not do their job very well very well there's always a long lines and only one cashier and when someone Calls for another cashier they take forever to get there like they're taking their sweet precious time doing whatever it is that they're doing and the cashiers like to talk a lot amongst themselves and themselves and even have customers waiting in line until they finish their conversation to then tell the next person to come up to the register so that they could help them this store is the absolute worst they need to really do something about this store

Male employee extremely rude when calling to ask if they have something. Said 'I'm the furniture guy and I don't know what you are asking for'. Laughed at me because he did not know what I was talking about. Nice customer service Big Lots. Know where NOT to shop now!

We have been in this location a few times and noticed staff has changed around a few times but this time the cashier lady was rude just plain rude i asked for my cold drinks to be left out and she tells me you can get them out of the bag when im done. Wow ok i just wont come back. Bad customer service wont return you can put that bag over your head and sufficate for all i care.

Excellent customer service . From Denise , the manager to our cashier, which I didn't catch her name. Short dark hair with glasses and pretty nails. A Male manager came to join the cashier and he was super helpful also. I love that store.

Wow... what can I say.¿¡? Since the last time I was in the BigLots over here in the Outlet Mall, in Atascadero, they have been busy reorganizing their shelves. This store has a wide range of options for your shopping trips The staff are very helpful and knowledgeable about the stores products and pricing. The young man who helped me was both articulate and fully capable to run his store. Check them out, for the fun of browsing through a new store, I'm pretty sure that you won't regret the time spent there.

Always a great deal and a great hidden find somewhere in the store. I didn't realize I needed 2 bags of cat food, and a pack of Bottle Caps candy until I walked around for a few minutes. Their curtain sheers are also a good deal.

An employee opened the door for us and asked if we had masks- we didn’t. I said I can see a shopper without a mask on- he said he’s ok (he was checking out)- but he refused us entry. If you have a rule, don’t pick and choose who you enforce it with- may be viewed as discriminatory.

Atascadero store is really nice n big. I like shopping there. Only thing today I wasn't too happy with was that the isles were blocked or semi blocked with carts full of boxes because they were restocking shelves n it was hard to get to items already on shelves that I needed. Almost all workers were pleasant. Some need some need to answer when spoken to instead of ignoring a customer. That's kind of rude I believe. I don't think she was enjoying the restocking chore... But overall I always have a good experience shopping there... I'll be back soon...

I absolutely love our Big Lots. the staff is friendly, very helpful and they smile. I would give them five stars if the selection were to include more clothing items specifically comfy clothes or jammies all year round. Love your prices and unique selection all kinds of items from Healthcare to home decor Big Lots continues to be my favorite store!

The store is stocked to the brim a beautiful home decorations for every day and for Christmas. The store was clean organized today it was pretty calm there were two checkers so I got in found the items I needed and was out the door in no time...... I always find some great deals at Big Lots and would recommend anyone taking a look for what they might need
