The 99 cent store in Atascadero California is the best 99 cent store I've shop at. I'm in here once a day sometimes more. The employees are very courteous to me and will go out of their way to say hello to my dog Samson. Just that alone keeps me coming back! Thanks again.Nacowa and Samson

Love going here in the morning, the cashiers are always nice in the morning and the deals on what i like to buy are wonderful! I avoid going here after noon because there is a cashier that is not friendly and he creates uncomfortable feelings. Other than that you can bet that i will be there in the mornings!

Love this place ! Opens early , great prices and tons of variety! I'm addicted. Customer service is not so bad but not so good for a 5 star. They need more staff for sure and the managers aren't very knowledgeable. But I go for the product so 😁

I always catch them at the end of the evening with a cart full of stuff nor at. Least my arms so loaded down I'm dropping items all thru the store trying to get to checkout counter before they close. Staff is always friendly and everso helpful. Thanks everyone for making the shopping experience super painless!

I love all their housewear items. My only issue is I've heard management talking bad about the cashiers. Like openly saying rude things. I don't know why, the cashiers are the main reason I come here. Eddie is my ABSOLUTE favorite human being, hes a great cashier and always helps me. Always brightens my day and I return hoping to see him every time I shop here!

Shop here all the time ,really like the deals and staff is very friendly and helpful. However there was an issue today with only one checker and a very long line. Checker asked for backup but no one came for 10 minutes until he called again. Apparently they didn't hear his call. I addressed this to the checker ,she said they were busy in the back and a customer became defensive and said he was doing a good job. I wasn't trying to start a war only express what was going on. He Was doing a good job,he just needed another checker. I don't go shopping looking for confrontation. Please be aware of long lines and make adjustments. It's like kindergarten with people cutting in line or having their family members hold a place in line while they continue to shop.Possibly this issue can be improved. Thank-you

My experience here was great they seem to be getting more products every time I go the produce isn't half bad if you get it while it gets there quick. I was able to pick up a holiday poinsettia I just $4 and a milking bucket for two. The only thing that was a little off-putting was a weird smell I won't get into what it was like. Otherwise everything top notch

This is a pretty good 99. The staff is what really makes it. They are surprisingly nice for a staff of a 99 cents store. Each time I have gone in they have been extremely helpful. They are always smiling or just generally in a good mood. If you ever need to find anything they are glad to help you find it. I've gone at different times and there has never really been a rush. It's in a big shopping center so parking isn't hard to find either. Overall one of the better 99 cents store and that's mostly because of the staff.

In and out of store today quickly. Plenty of checkers. Yeah. This is my first choice of shopping stores. Great bargain prices, why pay more at the other stores except Dollar Tree. Name brands also like Kraft Mac & Cheese, Grey Poupon, Heinz Ketchup, etc. 98 cents. So FUN 😊

I adore this store! Not only is everyone who works here wonderful but they keep this store extremely clean. I shop here for everything! If you think you can't afford to feed you family healthy fruits and vegetables, you are wrong. This is my go to place to make the most delicious salads and buy fruit in season. I come here to buy everything I need for jalapeno poppers to bring to parties.

One of the nicer ones I've been to. They constantly have new products. Beware if something seems very nice for .99 it may be 1.99 or 2.99 but for 3 dollars you can really find some awesome bathroom decor. The frames and fragrance solids are nice. And the perfect spot to stop and get the kids a snack.

Great to shop here for a household needs/snacks/food before going anywhere else. Always well stocked and maintained, good parking, not crowded. And they do have some good stuff too - not you're typical Dollar Tree products but a larger variety and larger store in general.

Was told not to come back by the manager with dark brown hair,because I said 'im in heart failure" . She was following me out the door while I was pushing my card because I was using it as a walker basically because my walking was in my car I had to go to the bathroom and she was following me and after I told her she said that she was in heart failure too and I said oh yeah and I said jokingly like that hers wasn't as bad as mine because I was given only a couple more months to live and you can tell that I have it swollen legs congested sounding and everything where she you can't even tell. So she got upset and said that I can't come back because she has heart failure and she's able to go to work everyday well that's great but even before this I was having a hard time and I don't appreciate someone bringing me down and talking down to me when I'm on my death bed. Feb was given one year prognosis and I know I'm much closer than that

There's one woman who works there that is always quite rude. I tried to apply for a job, and she told me there was "no way" she was gonna help me with that. Didn't even give me an application. I do enjoy the store, though. Cheap and good quality. Shame that some of the better products aren't always available, and the food can be quite close to the expiration, though.

A great place to get produce cheap. Beware though, despite the name not everything is 99c each. Some of the produce is sold by the pound and there are other items for more but also some for less. If you need change for whatever like the carousel in front the checkers aren't allowed to open the cash drawer for you which is ridiculous. You can pay for a cartload of merchandise with your debit card then ask for change for a dollar and they refuse. Otherwise everyone is usually friendly and helpful. Beware the carousel in front only works half the time and the rest of the time you lose your money and your child is disappointed.

The store helps the hard working labor force to feed their families. Thank you 99 cent Store; the only business that cares. Businesses in our area ( Paso Robles ) at least 90 % have their prices inflated. The way it is going all middle class will be in the streets. That is pitiful. Thank you so much for helping and improving the beautiful place we live.

Covid enforcement be sure and wear a mask. lots of great stuff. not everything is a dollar or $0.99 but it is clearly marked if it isn't. They take EBT and always have the necessities. highly recommend for those on a budget.

This place is awesome, until you realize that not everything is 99¢ Besides the items above ninety nine cents, it's great. They carry almost everything you need, on a budget. They sell ear buds, candy, car equipment, and tools. Super happy with this store.

This 99 cent store was fully staffed and stocked. Staff was friendly and helpful. I got all the things I needed. I didn't see the whole milk I wanted but other than that I'm a loyal customer

Lots of halloween goodies, well stocked shelves, veggies fresh n frozen, fresh fruit, dairy, good price on milk, the store was clean, a clerk outside will clean your cart, hand sanitizer for customer use , all clerks following COVID19 requirements.

Always check the .99 cent store first before heading to the big box stores as you just might find what you need and save some dollars in the process. I surprise myself each and every time because they have such a good variety of items.... Services always fast and polite so check them out the next time you're out and about
