Small Daiso Japan that has most of the merchandise in a large one. The stuff are all tiny and interesting. See pictures for illustration.

this daiso sells a lot of cute stuff (some that you don’t even need but you gotta buy it anyway because they are too cute haha), just like any other daiso. there were not too many customers, they played good songs, the whole store is cleaned and neat, and the staff was very friendly and professional. i think this location sells their stuff a little bit more expensive than other locations though..

I love Diaso. However, this location is very underwhelming. It's much smaller than other locations and has limited items. The cashiers were rude as well. I'll stick to other locations I frequent.

Ogenki desu ka, Daiso?Daiso Japan had their Grand Opening celebration at their newest location in Artesia, in front of 99 Ranch market, which happens to be very close to me. I've heard the raves from others & read Yelpers reviews on Daiso's other locations, but I've never managed to visit because I didn't want to drive that far. Lo & behold, there is now a location that's convenient & practical to go to.I arrived about 45 mins before opening, & the line was about 50-60 deep. Everyone who stopped by today received a raffle ticket for various prizes, such as an Ipad mini & a Keurig K-Cup brewer. The store was packed to the gills, so I couldn't check out everything. But, browsing some of the aisles, Daiso reminded me of a more upscale 99 cent only store, except most items are $1.50, with some items costing a little more. Regardless of the crowd, the cashiers made checkout a breeze.I'm excited that Daiso Japan Artesia is now open. I will definitely be back to check my raffle ticket & browse the entire store for all the Japanese goodies for sale.No refunds/exchangesDomo origato, Daiso!

I really liked this place but yestraday I had bought a stuff animal and not even a few hours later it has a huge rip on it's neck. The stuff animal is really cute but it will rip easily. I was really disappointed because I expected it to be better quality. I rated it like this because I had also got to hats for my dogs and they were cute but it will only fit small dogs.

The store is unique in that it stocks so many nifty items for daily use. However the quality , especially if toys is very poor. Plus there are no returns possible. Japan in name , china in quality ☹️. Please remove poor quality items and maintain a high standard for your goods.

It’s a bit smaller store and less items to get compared to the one located on South street and Woodruff Ave.

Love going here but hate it at the same time. So many nice things to buy. $1.50 at a time adds up very quickly. My place to go for my reading glasses. But there are so many great little things to get. Make sure to have some time to slowly go aisle by aisle. And double check the ends, the move things around

I stop by Daiso whenever I drive past one. Thoroughly enjoy going down each aisle. I'm a cook so I love finding new kitchen equipment that's makes work super convenient.

You know those little travel necessities you might need? Buy them here instead of Target. Don’t expect the items here to last a lifetime. What you pay is what you get.

Ready to pay and then the cashier changes prices on products. I showed her the sticker with amount and she stated prices were marked up. I’m sure that’s not legal increasing prices when they have a different price tag. So after all that I’m paying with a 100 dollar bill and she stated they won’t accept 100 unless I purchase over 60 dollars. Outrageous and waste of time. Won’t be going there again.

Love this place! You can honestly find so many cute trinkets. It's really hard to stop once you enter this place. You can literally spend hours in here. Just know that this place is cash only if under $10. However, it's really easy to spend more than $10 so then you can just use card. The workers are very friendly. On some weekends, there's a line. Other weekends, it's really fine.

Well kept stores with very low prices. $1.50 is the standard price for items in the store unless otherwise indicated. Many of the items are obviously made very cheaply, but for some applications that doesn't hurt the function. Some of the items that are normally available elsewhere for low prices anyway, are very low here, but appear to have similar quality.

I was pleasantly surprised at the service I received while visiting. It does take a lot to keep a business like this afloat and while making customer service your top priority, some may see this as challenging. I would definitely return as they rank high marks with me on the appearance and maintenance side. $1.50 most items. You will learn to love Japan.

I love shopping at Daiso. Clean store with cute, inexpensive items. I usually buy cards, notepads, stickers, gift bags, spray bottles, sponges, and little sauce dishes here. They don't have a restroom for guests.

Great selection of imported Japanese goods in this small store. It's bright, clean, super organized, and well-stocked with everything from tea to towels, cool kitchen gadgets to toys and cheap electronics like earbuds. The employees are super sweet.COVID protocols are being followed, so there may be a wait to enter.

They never have new stuff. They are always out of stock in things. No restroom. Shared parking lot with grocery store. It's always seems hot in the store. Messy floor. Drink selection is bad. Snacks seem old and expired. Over all selection is bad.

Very good things for a very good price. Also love their soda and unique snacks. The staff and people are very friendly. After a visit they are located in a shopping center so if you're hungry you can grab a bite.

Such an awesome group of people working there! I purchased an item and tried to use it in my car before I left the parking lot and the thing broke! I went back in and asked the cashier to help me with making it work and he had such a hard time, it fell apart on him! He was kind enough to allow me to get a new one even though they have a no/no policy.

Cute store that offers a lot of trinkets which break easily. Keep in mind no returns or exchanges allowed. Things that are worth buying are sponges, tea bags, lunch box boxes and utensils, foil burner covers, origami paper and other craft things like their felt sawingkitsch. Stationary is rather cute. For everything else you go to 99 cent only or dollar tree - it will be 50 cents cheaper

This was my first time here but I really liked it. All of the items were very affordable and the stationary looked very cute. Will definitely go back.

Not my favorite Daiso. It seems smaller and less stocked than the one I usually go to in Buena Park. I love to stock up on cute socks here and this location just didn't have that many. Also, I was asked to grab cute straws and they barely had any.

Its a weird store with some gimmicky items.... The stuff they sell is not cheap, but its not amazing quality as well. It's a fun shop with good snacks and items; when i paid, it seemed like there was no tax so prices are as is.

It's a great store. It's the Japanese equivalent of the 99 Cent Store. Almost everything is a dollar fifty except for a few items here and there. And they're all small useful trinkets. You can gather everything you need for a home or a project here. It's fun to try stuff from a different country, because everything has a different flavor. A lot of things are unknown two Americans and are great to explore. They always have a seasonal section near the front window, so you can see what they're offering, and if you have some kind of seasonal theme you could decorated with just everything from the store. There's these drinks called ramune and calpico that are different and delicious.
