This is one of the smaller 99 cent stores but they do have everything compared to larger 99 cents stores that I live near I would prefer to drive out to this 1 because they have a larger variety of items. They have fresh Jamaica they also sell beer and liquor they also have mixers they have all the food the freezer section the produce is generally fresh for the 99 cent store . I would recommend this 99 cent store over most 99 cents stores in my area if you can get to this 99 cent store in the city of Artesia I guarantee it will be worth the drive.

I went to this 99 cent store this morning bought a bunch of things one of them was a can of soup . It was marked at $1.49 but the manager tried to charge me $2..99. I went and took a picture of the shelf and showed her that her products are out of place and marked at the wrong price . And yes they were four or more out of place to the right of the price listed . She still didn't honer it 🧐. Here is the photo .

The young lady with a mask and eyeglasses was lethargic, with a zombie look or grumpiness written all over her. Acting like an autopilot, let alone trying to accommodate, at all on anything. She probably wouldn't lift a finger, if provided such an option.

Most canned food items are now $1.50 It is not the 99 cents only store anymore.This store always has price discrepancies with tags not matching with what rings up. I had cashier put back 4 items because price was wrong. So pay attention when you check out.

I love 99 Cent Store they have all your basic needs at a discounted price! They have a wide selection of Gatorade products from regular ( which has a massive amount of sugar ) to Zero Free & different varieties better than Dollar Tree! Not withstanding Dollar Tree has better assortment of Arizona Ice Teas, other Ice Tea products & Mountain Dew ( my all time Favorite!😱).......🤔🤭🤫✌️🤟💋❣️

I don't see what right they have calling it 99¢ store only when it's NOT 99¢ only! Look for yourself and you'll see how everything is NOT 99¢ only. The cashier's are like robots, the store itself could stand to be updated. It serves it's purpose but nothing to rave about.

We like to shop around the 99 cents for supplies for house and grocery and also personal and grooming items for ourselves. They also have named products at a good prices the 99 cent is almost like supermarket and finding good deal. We like to go to different 99 cents store in different area when we travel around

This store has fresh produce, fruits and bread. I love this store, it's a one stop shop that has everything that you need with great price. It's a must have. Parking gets full most of the time, but there is nearby plaza that has parking space as well.

Great place for certain items. Produce, though they don't offer organic, cleaning supplies, frozen foods, spices, anyone can find a whole cart full for $100 which would cost SOOO much more somewhere else.

Amillyan should not be employed here or anywhere else for that matter. You can't work customer service and not let your customers ask you a question. Unprofessional doesn't even begin to describe it. Couldn't even bag my stuff because her nails were too long, what a joke.

This is my favorite 99c Store location. I will go out of my way to visit this site. It's the cleanest and best stocked store of all the sites in a ten mile radius. Most of the cashiers are nice, one seems a bit pushy but she was still okay. This is surrounded by the nice areas of Cerritos and the higher end shops along South street by Cerritos mall. That's why it probably has the cleanest store. It's probably the newest of the stores in the Long Beach area as well. You also don't have solicitors outside like all the other 99c Stores.

No matter what anyone says or rails against 99 cent store but everyone knows that they sell there and just around the corner no matter 7-11 or local liquor store or ralps your gonna 3 times more for mountain dew than at the 99¢ every goes there even the President etc............Thanks 99¢.....p.s. hope you stay the same cause Dollar Tree just got more fruitful now $1.25 Tree

This store is beyond fabulous!!! They have more different items then most 99 cents only stores. Lots of name brands. (Update) still a nice clean store but out of alot of stuff. Might be because of supply/ chain issues.

The parking lot was BUSY. The store was large but somehow managed to feel cramped. Shelves were pretty well organized but I wasn't able to find everything I needed. Checkout lines were long, but moved fairly quickly.

I stopped in here quickly for a soda and ended up finding several other things I needed for an up event, which I was excited about until the manager came to return some items I wanted to exchange for the better items I found at this store!The Manager came to the register hostile, & like she could be bother to do the return. Never saying hello, just barking directives about why I could return items I just purchased at another location! She was very rude and attempted to be condescending, which I had to reminder her that her job is dealing with the public & her conduct/attitude was reprehensible!!!! Even my friend with me, spoke to her in Spanish asking her what was the problem with exchanging items from another 99cents store, to which she replied... She didn't like me and just wanted us to leave as soon as the transaction was completed! We did, which is why I've rated them so poorly!

Oh this place is so dingy. I came here after going to Daiso as I was trying to find some gift wrap for cheaper than $1.50. Boy, did I regret it. I think I would rather pay the extra 50 cents at Daiso because this place is so dirty! I wish the floors were better cleaned. Everything in this place just looked so mucky.

Like this place...sometimes I find things for a dollar that are worth $3 at Walmart which I also like...like Muscle Milk...dont be fooled by the fact that everything is a dollar...just BECAUSE things are cheaper does not make them bad quality...check expiration dates...and if you need a quick fast meal for the family on a budget this is a great start...you don'T go to a 99cent store to get a higher class, expensive experience like Albertson's...ive read reviews on this place that are quite idiotic and embarassing for the writer....why would anyone go to a 99cent sore and expect expensive brands all the time and expect waiters, wAitresses and managers on demand...the truth is this place can be busy but is a greAt plAce to get a quick fast ingredient list for a 4 star meal...dont be fooled though ive seen name brands here for the advertised $1 that would be much more expensive elsewhere...my sister was a 99c store human resource manAger and turned me to this business...they buy overflow for dirt cheap prices and pass the savings on to consumers...they even help people pn food stamps and general relief by acepting EBT benefits...what else do you want? Love this place if it wasnt for how busy it can get I would give it a 10!!!!! And that's only because I have no patience. Thats not their fault its ours....I can only rate a 5...lol...take it easy on these people, always helpful and they do their JOB!!!

This location is pretty neat & not disorganized like other locations. Pretty easy to get in & out although not enough cashiers available.
