Petco's staff are very friendly and helpful. I love that I can take my dog inside, instead of leaving him in the car. Milo's happy 🐾 I bought Fresh Pet beef and brown rice, and chicken with peas carrots and brown rice. First time trying this food, and Milo loves it. Great store. Thank you Petco ❤️

I walked up into line waited for my turn, and two other groups came behind me. Well I walked up to the cashier and told him I wanted a live mouse. So he told me he was going to help the two groups behind me first before he got me a mouse. This has happened a couple of times here.. Can't they just help the customers as they come into the line! Not skipping them. No matter the service.

Please be aware that if you have an issue with the grooming department their resolution is to tell you to take your pet elsewhere. I made a simple phone call to management to express my concerns with a one time appointment. I received a return phone call from Amy letting me know that I can go elsewhere instead of trying to make right. Horrible customer service, I would definitely recommend that you don’t express any concerns with them, there is no customer service.

Go to this store regularly, so only reason I am giving two stars instead of one. Was in there tonight and trying to find a new leash and supplies for my dog. Never greeted, not asked if I needed help. Then at 8:02 some gentleman came up to me and said "We're actually closed". No polite request, just told I was needed to leave. Honestly shocked, been in customer service my entire life and would never ask a customer to leave in such a manner. He said I could buy what I had already grabbed , as if I would still want to. All he had to do was give me a polite notice we are closing soon and I would of wrapped it up. But to be holding your phone and then look at me and say "we're actually closed" was the opposite of customer service. Disappointed.

The cat section is always empty. The litter is never stocked up. There's only one brand of catnip. Barely any toys. The store itself is dirty all the time. Just go to a different pet store. Don't waste your time.

Sidney and Megan have groomed Keila and they are very caring with Keila who is an older dog I would recommend any of the groomers there. I was concern about taking Keila to a corporate place, but I trust them totally with Keila.

Finding someone to help you is nearly impossible. Alot of items out of stock but understand with this shipping and inflation issues. Store is clean and most of the staff is friendly. There fish tanks are clean and fish look healthy that tells alot about a store. Overall they have what I need and to frequent often. There prices are better then another local pet store in town. My biggest thing is finding someone to help when I need it.

Absolutely love this Petco no questions. I live in Santa Maria and prefer to drive to A.G because I can literally never find what I need in S.M. The employees are always helpful and friendly at Arroyo Grande's Petco. Especially Julie the dog trainer was so wonderful with helping us sign up for Vital Care and explained it perfeftctly(took just about hour)bless her for never losing patience with us. I've could've had vital care a long time ago if someone would've taken the time to explain it at all.

Poorly stocked and surprisingly small. My wife and I were looking for sweaters for our chihuahua since it can get cold on the beach around here, and there were barely any available. We could only find a couple of racks carelessly shoved into a random corner of the store.

My 14lb 80% blind senior dog had a fantastic cut! I explained he had some old skin tags that routinely get sliced from the trimmer. They hand cut around these areas and he was a very happy boy! My new dog spa for 2022!

Sorry to say that the store was not ready to welcome customers at 10 am and was also under staffed and under merchandised. When I finally did find a dog harness and went to purchase it, I couldn't. The item was recalled but still on display. Back to square one. The checkout person was very nice. Im going to chalk it up to just a bad day for them.

Very very friendly staff. Always available to help with whatever you need. Most are very good at answering questions correctly and give great suggestions. I was looking for an item they didn't have but they're San Luis store did. Their manager had it in the store the following day period She had taken the time to go to San Luis for me and bring the item back now that's service.
