Chef Steve’s dinner tastes fresh. The meat is juicy, has slight sweet flavor. Also with a special sour cream taste to help you with a good appetite. Creamy potatoes, just cooked right. Chef Steve makes the most delicious dinners! JJ's Market is so lucky to have him in their camp! He makes the best stuffed pork tenderloin and turkey dinners. His potatoes and veggies are cooked to perfection. Thank you Chef Steve for taking such good care of us for all of these years!!

My favorite place to go! Customer service is exceptional!! And the variety of offerings from produce to fish and meat is unmatched. The staples are always available, but specialty inventory is often changing so you never know what delights you will find!

Or a relatively small store, they have a pretty wide selection of product and also reasonably deep. I live about a mile away and because I am one of those people who is relatively well off but close with their money, I typically shop in town. But I find more and more that this smaller store often has more selection than Aldi for example. And while Aldi might have more of a particular product on the shelf, many times they don't. And I haven't found a problem with expired shelf life at JJ's. Overall I find myself shopping there more and more because it saves me auto expense and also my time. The people are always helpful and, yes, you pay a bit more but I have found it is generally worth it.signed: Terry, an almost 80 year old AG Mesa dude

This is a clean and very well organized grocery store. I stopped here while on my Route 1 drive to San Fransisco. The rest rooms were clean too.

I don't shop at this location much, but after today's visit, I will. Their selections are good and well priced. The meat quality throughout the section is good and nice deals, if you watch for they ads.It has a good locals vibe with a helpful attitude.Nicely done..

It's not the biggest variety of products, because this is a small neighborhood grocery. But the rotisserie chicken and all of the deli foods are delicious. The meat is fresh and excellent. I'm not a fan of the produce, but it's a great store with wonderful people.

Great place for fresh vegetables and fruits. It's a nice place to go if you live on the Arroyo Grande side of the mesa. I haven't tried their deli yet, but it looks amazing.

Great spot! The deli food is delicious and they always have good items in stock. Prices aren’t the best for the little things, but it’s the only store up on the Mesa so it’s fine when you need something without a drive to a major store! The meat is the best around though, and competitive prices if not better prices. Good liquor and beer selections as well. The people who work there are the best part though, always so friendly and willing to help. They always open up a register if a line forms and get you through quickly.

As you enter you notice how clean it is and very cool it is. So fruit won't spoil I suppose ? There are plenty of checkers to take Care of the customers. They friendly and willing to help even the old. Folks like me. I saw one carry groceries to this lady car and help put bags her. CarHow about.that. not at S/f. They even bag the groceries for you with. A smile !!!! Have to go there. They are great. Price s are worth going there.

On my visit to Pismo Beach this is it quaint little grocery store that had everything I needed. It's one of those mom and pop places that I think everybody knows everyone.

The cashier here tried to charge me for a random item that I wasn't even buying and that was no where near the register. Not sure how this happened, but I caught her mistake and saved my wallet. Always get a receipt and check it before leaving.

Yummy food omg delicious!!!! Such a varied menu, from vegetarian to all american food to let your imagination wander but you'll ALWAYS get amazing food here yummy! Lots of parking and handicapped parking. Everyone that works here is so nice and I suffer from a tbi so they were kind and compassionate and patient with my disabilities.

Very clean and well stocked for a market of its size. The produce and meat selection are the best parts. I wish the wine was sorted by type instead of label though. It made it really difficult to find what we were looking for. You also was to stick to a pharmacy if you need any health supplies.

Small local store. Doesn’t have much for healthier eaters, didn’t see any tuna salad or chicken salad. Checkout staff was pleasant but one woman working wore a face shield that was nowhere near covering her face. She could have fit another person’a head in there. Kind of useless with an airborne virus. They allowed a dog which was awesome. Certainly not a large store like Ralph’s and had hoped to see more local good but didn’t.

The employees are the Best!! 5 Star Service!! The store is ALWAYS clean & shelves are stocked. The deli food is amazing! Lots of different salads, sandwiches, rotisserie chicken, enchiladas..too many to name, but oh so good!!!

Jordan in the deli stopped his end of night cleanup to help me. He was very helpful and knowledgeable about the food. I cann't remember the cashiers name but she was very helpful and friendly as well. They were just about to close when i got there but i was able to get some chicken for me and some apples for my horse.

Today i went in with a friend of mine and to say the least , the cashier asked if we wanted a bag. As we said yes she then slid a brown paper bag across the bagging counter a then pushed our items we had purchased rudely towards us. And i instantly felt like we were a bother and as quickly as she started the next customer i felt unwanted there. I've been living in this area for quite awhile now and been in the store enough times to be considered part of community. Today i felt like an immigrant straight off the boat!

Great deli, really fresh produce & a great selection of local wines.Friendly staff & usually a qwik stop. During lunch there are a lot of workers coming in for deli foods.Lots of parking & a very clean environment. Also close to the beach areas to come up to the mesa for fresh bar-b-que & wood.
