Friendly environment and great place to work! Immaculately clean and bright. The coffee has great flavor. Got an iced caramel latte.Kid-friendliness: Large enough to not feel like you are being an imposition to other guests.

$7.50 for a latte now. Wow!The food and coffee here are way overpriced. So I go into AG for the same latte for $2.00 less. The atmosphere is nice and roomy and the service just OK. Sometimes better than others, like when I came in and the staff went home early so no food was being served so I have been going into AG instead ever since. The hours are unpredictable. The food and coffee are good but I can get the same thing down the street for much less.If I do go I go for the homemade yummy muffins.

VEGAN OPTIONS! This is a cute coffee shop that is easy to spot driving down the road.I got a matcha with oat milk, it was mainly milky not as much matcha-ness as I would like. I would give my drink a 2/5. My boyfriend got a matcha and that was better, we give it a 4/5.On the menu it seems there is a vegan food options, they offer a variety of toasts. The workers all seemed kind of miserable which made the vibe not as good as it could be! Maybe they were all having a bad day. I saw one person smile at me when I went up to the counter to get my drinks but besides that the service was mid-tier. Friendliness goes a long way!The atmosphere is great and the furniture and decor is all 10/10! It’s very open and airy and the music is at a perfect background volume. The furniture is comfy and it’s a nice quiet spot to study or work.I’d love to come back! I’d recommend making the matcha more matcha and less milky vibes. Thank you!

Staff & owner, Mark, are helpful, friendly and community minded. Spacious, welcoming atmosphere & seating, not noisy or crowded. Large separate, inviting room in the back can be closed off for meetings (talk to Mark ahead of time). Outdoor seating, dog & bike friendly, easy off street parking. Interesting, healthy menu and fair prices. My GO TO place to connect with a friend or have a "business meeting" Free wifi too, of course.

What an absolutely wonderful find here in town! Recently opened coffee place that is now my new ‘go to’. The high open ceilings and large spaciousness is so inviting plus the friendly service, yummy coffee selections and delectable food offerings are what will make me come back and bring my friends.

This place is definitely one of the more popular spots in the area. After getting my coffee I understood why. My Pumpkin Hazelnut Latte was easily the best coffee I’ve had in the SLO area. It was also one of the best “pumpkin spice” lattes I’ve had which I find most places fail at. Only complaint is the toasties are expensive for what seems to be only one slice. Still I strongly recommend this place if you’re in the SLO area. 4.9/5.

This is my new go-to spot! You feel welcomed from the moment you walk in, and are helped by a very friendly staff! I got an iced chai with Macadamia milk(which is amazing and I never see it offered elsewhere) and it was hands down the best chai I have ever had. It tastes like candy and I’m having a hard time not drinking it all in one sitting! I also got the almond berry toastie which had seasonal golden raspberries on it which I found to be very fun. It tasted delicious as well. 100/10 definitely recommend.

We just went to a local cafe and it was packed, had super loud music, and the food is so-so. We left without eating and went to Greenhouse. It's a lovely, peaceful environment with friendly staff and tons of space and tables. I ordered the avocado hummus toastie with an egg on top, and it was divine. Flavors upon flavors. My daughter got the Caprese - delicious, full of layers of flavor. This is not McDonalds where you can get a $1 breakfast... Greenhouse is excellent food at a price that reflects excellence. Thank you for designing great breakfast food, Greenhouse. And your staff are so lovely.Parking: No problem parking on the street.

The almond butter toast tasted like pure canola oil. I don’t understand why a sweet flavored toast needs to be pan fried in this way.Unredeemable.Coffee was good.

What a wonderful coffee shop! Very conveniently located with a parking lot behind it, so you never have to worry about parking. The inside is huge and so welcoming with a modern-chic vibe. The staff are very kind and will always greet you with a smile! Their fruit chia pudding is amazing and a MUST try, only to wash it down with their super tasty iced mocha. The owner is very kind and makes every effort to say hello when he's around and his daughter (manager I believe!) Emily is there often. Together, they run a very tight ship and they're doing a superb job. I frequent this coffee shop often along with other students from my graduate program as it makes for a great study and chill setting.Their fruit-infused water also deserves an honorable mention- so refreshing!

The treats, food, and drinks are always amazing. In all honesty what really makes me comes back is the service. The owners are always so attentive of everyone along with everyone who works there. I go often so they know my order, that plus them being dog friendly is great! I get to enjoy a treat and coffee with my furry best friend, what more can I ask for?Dietary restrictions: I don't have restrictions but they have gluten free items and milk substitutes for those that do.

Barista Emily is amazing. She runs the whole show and prepares great coffee. Food is really good too. If you ever get to go, ask for the pour-over. It's really good. You'll have to wait a bit, be patient, the wait is worth it. Also the avocado hummus is a great idea and tastes delicious. All food there is great. Big fan of the place. The rest of the staff is also fantastic. Great coffee house.

First impressions, second chances, and third times the charm, right? Well, that's the philosophy I adopted when I stumbled upon the Greenhouse Coffee Company in our bustling little town of Arroyo Grande.Coffee is practically a religion around here, so new coffee shops pop up like mushrooms after a rainstorm. And guess what? The Greenhouse Coffee Company decided to join the caffeinated party!Entering this place is like stepping into a Pinterest board—beautifuly decorated and sparkling clean. It's got that cool ambiance where you can either chat with friends, focus on studying, or simply chillax and contemplate life. I mean, they even play music (sometimes a tad loud, but hey, it's not a rock concert). Now, when they first opened shop, they were renovating their kitchen, and they kept saying, "Hey, we'll have delicious food soon, just hold your caffeine cravings for a bit." And I was like, "Sure thing, folks. I can be patient... sometimes." And yes, they eventually did roll out some food options, and I remember thinking, "I'll definitely give this place a second chance and stuff my face with a sandwich next time."So, fast forward to today—July 31, 2023, 1 pm. Yours truly and a buddy strolled in. The place wasn't exactly bustling; in fact, it was as calm as a sloth on a lazy Sunday afternoon. Two employees were behind the counter, twiddling their thumbs, and there was no queue in sight. We got all hopeful and asked about their food offerings. Now, get this: The guy at the counter gave us a "we-have-limited-food-options" spiel. I looked at him like, "Come on, buddy, spill the beans—literally!" But he just seemed impatient and muttered something about lacking staff. I thought, "Hold up! There's no line, and you've got all the time in the world to make a masterpiece sandwich!"At that point, I was torn between handing him a motivational quote about seizing opportunities or a "Employee of the Month" certificate from another coffee joint nearby. We went with option two, aka leaving. We made our way to the neighboring coffee shop, which surprisingly had only one employee, but they whipped up our food and coffee with a smile and some serious caffeinated flair. So, yeah, it can be done, Greenhouse Coffee Company! Now, I'm no coffee shop consultant, but here's a little free advice to the owners and managers: That swanky remodel and those fancy upgrades to serve food ain't cheap, right? So, why let that go to waste? I understand constraints, but plain laziness isn't a menu item. Just saying!Anyway, the world is full of choices, and the coffee scene in Arroyo Grande is no exception. I'm writing this review with hope that the folks running the Greenhouse Coffee Company will wake up and smell the espresso beans! It could be a training thing or just a temporary hiccup, so here's to giving you one, two, or maybe even three chances... just like sunrises, they won't wait forever!"Opportunities are like sunrises. If you wait too long, you miss them." - William Arthur Ward
