Asked a female worker for help at checkout and was told it was self-checkout only today. She needs to know customer service is the backbone of work, and not to be so rude. I won't be back. The Angels Camp store much better, friendlier.

I like the store but people seem to buy a lot which is great, but they need to open more registers because you can stand there for a long long time waiting to cash out. I left a shopping cart with items I wanted to buy because of the wait. The lady in front of me must have had over 75 items in her cart and she was waiting on the person in front of her. I would have been there over 30 minutes waiting in line, easier to go elsewhere where they have more help to check out.

Very nice Dollar General store. Clean, well lit, wide isles and we'll stocked too. Their clothing section is much nicer than other Dollar General stores I've been in with a great, well organized selection.

They have everything, not just a dollar store. Also open later than the hardware store up the road. Helpful staff went above and beyond to help find a camper repair part they didn't have. Lost a star for clutter but it was near closing.

I like this place, but it is not cheap. Almost verything is at least $2, all the good stuff is around $5+. It is convenient because Arnold is so far away from other Dollar stores, but it feels like things are way overpriced. Maybe this is the same for all dollar generals, but I'd rather go to a dollar tree where everything is $1. The employees are really friendly so they have that going for them.

I had to go here because the pharmacy was closed. Upon arrival I was told they didn't open until 8:00am. I was getting ready to leave when an employee asked what I needed was. I told them I needed to pick up some cold medicine for my daughter who is sick. They let me come in the store and rang me up for the halls breezers and tylenol chewables. I am so thankful to this employee. Thank you so much for your kindness❤ Will DEFINITELY be back!

These stores are everywhere in the central valley of California, so you don't need to bring anything for a road trip, they'll have it. We tried this on our last road trip, literally didn't bring anything, even forgot the baby diapers and wipes, drove 2 hrs and ran into a Dollar General just in time for a diaper change and some lunch, and what do you know they had everything right down to the baby wipes. We left the lot with a clean baby and full stomachs. You can't beat Dollar General. Thumbs up from us.

Went on a little trip to the snow. And stop by this store it was local and way down to earth I like the group feeling they promote. Note one of the cash attendants might want to take it down a bit but good store.

The MANager is so friendly, cheerful and helpful. Good prices on cleaning products. Fun little things to buy with holidays in mind. Seasonal items too.

Okay I change my review from a five-star to a one-star I just went the Dollar General and I'm a senior citizen in Arnold on a fixed income and for some reason D&G decided to raise the price of their eggs by almost $2 a dozen okay that should not be allowed okay they normally sell the rates for around $2 a dozen not 3.98 in my opinion that is what's called price gouging because they raised their price by over 10% shame on you now drive all the way to Angels Camp before I buy from you again

This store used to be great but over the past few months they are out of more and more things such as prepaid cell phone cards and the phomes themselves. These are advertised special most of which they have been out of for months.

The staff here are always helpful and polite. Who doesn't love that! Never have a problem getting in or out. Also, there is a Redbox at this location.

It was a quick stop just needed coffee creamer .I stop in at a perfect time sometimes the line is long and slow due to covid 6 ft spacing the employees were friendly and helpful.

It is an average Dollar General, staff is fun at times. The isles are almost always filled with stocking carts though....
