I’ve never had a “bad” experience until today. I showed up at close, I wasn’t trying to push the door open, I was honestly confused. I was unaware we were still running early hours. No big deal. The only thing that completely turned me off was the attitude of the workers. I wasn’t the only one who arrived just at close, and I hope we all weren’t greeted with the same attitude. Not everyone is from out of town and demanding. Be nice and kind, that’s all anyone is asking for.

Everything you'll need! Nice craft beer selection, awesome wine selection, butchers are nice and the meats are top notch! Especially great rice for the spare ribs. Try the marinated rib eye too!We bought breakfast dinner and lunch from Big Trees everyday we stayed.

Because they went latex balloon & latex glove free for me. ADA accomodations were provided ! They keep my allergy safe foods in stock too! Beautiful flag pennants where latex balloons used to be! 🇺🇸👏😷🚫🎈

Wonderful location. Assortment of products is plenty for our family. Employees friendly, helpful and kind. A grocery store with a heart serving the area locals and visitors alike. The market is nice.Below is my review of Big Trees Car wash since it comes up for reviews under Big Trees Market.So for my review of Big Trees Car Wash:The credit card swipe warns you to press green button to STOP credit card charges. Great except the green button did nothing. Charges went up to $11. So today I used dollars. Went in to the first bay. Put my token coins in tried to select rinse wash etc. except the selector knob is broken and will not turn. So the whole $3 was wash with soap. Nice location. Nice to have a car wash except it seems that whoever owns it does not properly maintain. Thus, It is a bust.

It may be the only grocery store in town, but it's a great one. Good produce with organic options, butcher block, deli and great selections of wine and beer. Great selection of cheese and breads. Senior discount on Tuesday and Wednesday. It amazes me that many things are lower priced than the bigger stores down the hill. The staff here is super friendly and nice!

They have a little bit of everything... and one of the best beer & wine selections in the area. The deli has great hot & cold items, the bakery and meat counter are top notch. The fruits and veggies are fresh. Considering that everything is trucked up the mountain the prices are good.

Best supermarket in the area, have a cabin in Bear Valley and we stop there every trip we go there from the Bay Area, usually both on the way there and often on the way back. Excellent baked goods, meat market and vegie section. Well stocked even through the craziness of the COVID years. Been going there for 10+ years. Makes excellent sandwiches to order, had one yesterday on our way home, 10/9/22, puts Subway to shame! Wish we had a Supermarket like this in the South Bay, live in Milpitas. Our local Safeway is good, but not nearly as good as Big Trees Market.

We live in the bay area but have been coming here for years and it's such a great grocery store. Their meat counter has great prices and great quality; the beer and cider selection is way above average; their deli has some unique items; and the prices are very fair. It does get really crazy on Saturday afternoons during ski season so be prepared!

Great market in Arnold. They have everything you need and more. Some surprisingly specialized gourmet items my local markets don't carry the the bay area.Prices are good and the produce is decent. Nice fresh butcher counter, bakery, and deli as well.Go early though on long weekends or popular travel times as they get picked over from all the vacationers going to or renting cabins etc.

Not to friendly to out of towners. Hit and miss of products. Some employees friendly especially kid with big beautiful hair. Manager just manhandled his way past me as I was browsing the hats. Aholio. I guess they don't realize that visitors deserve some good customer service. If it wasn't for the two guys that were friendly I would say skip it and go to the general store

Small store with friendly employees. Has a great beer selection. Try to avoid holidays peak hours because the small town local staff cannot support the large amount of vacation families that visit here. Even though they may be busy they are always nice.

This quaint mountain grocery store surprises with selection. I am pleased with the choices they offer in every aisle. A gluten free section and plenty of organic options across the store. The produce section has a wide variety of meatless proteins Excellent service in the butcher shop and the deli. The prices are very reasonable, especially considering the next closest market that size is 20 minutes away. Don't miss the breakfast sausage or the beer selection.

I like this little store. Wish I stopped in before going to the Cabin, so next trip. Beside coffee and snakes for the trip home, I got these great, I call Cabin slippers, fit kicks, love them. Good for not scratching up new wood floors and have soles to keep feet clean or going out on the deck.

Convenient and well stocked. Plenty of parking. parking. They sell pretty much everything you'd expect at a supermarket. Deli, bakery, and meat counter, and the staff is usually very friendly and helpful. It can get very crowded at peak times, and due to COVID, only every other checkout opens. Not their fault, and the lines move pretty quickly.

Really a great small town grocery store. Although not as large as big city supermarkets, they have every thing you need at decent prices. Lots of employees on staff and every one has a smile on their face and is helpful. They will carry customer's groceries to their car, something you don't see too often. Didn't see stray carts out in the parking lot (we all know about door dings) so I appreciate they are mindful about that. It does seem like the employees enjoy their jobs which makes for a pleasanr shopping experience. Although they are really the only grocery store around, they don't act like it and seem to value their customers. Nothing negative to say about them. We come here every year for vacation and never had a negative experience when shopping there.

Big Trees Market is one of my favorite markets. Their deli sandwiches are in a world of their own, they are just the best. Their drink selection is great, their meats and produce are fresh and delicious. The staff in the entire store is friendly, helpful, and charming.By far, one of my favorite stops in Arnold.

So I work currently at Big Trees Market, and I can say it's a great store, it gets really really busy on holiday weekends and during the summer but customer service is great depending on who's working, the produce and meat departments have good selections. Oh and there are 13 fridge doors of different kinds or beer and the wine and hard alcohol sections are great for the small town and local area.

Full market, they have the best home made sausage anywhere. We shop there all the time, clean and friendly. Ask for their Big Trees Sliced roast beef. Bloody awesome.

This store has a really good selection of groceries. Great place to stock up when your camping. Even sells firewood for the cozy camp fires. We always stop here on our "rest days" after long hiking days.

Everyone is always helpful and nice. They have all common items like you would expect at any Safeway/equivalent except I find Big Trees Market meat counter to be superior! **Keep in mind if visiting for any holiday weekend they tend to run out of many things, so get there early**

I love Big trees Market. The entire staff is so friendly and helpful. The fruit is good and the meat always looks fresh. They carry the best jerky Munch and Grub I love this place.
