I appreciate Dr Taylor's conservative approach to my cat's care. I have been to other clinics where I was advised to hospitalize and run thousands of dollars of tests when the vet didn't know what was wrong. Dr. Taylor gave my cat an antibiotic shot for swollen glands, and the swelling has gone, he is doing great, and I am not financially ruined!

Recently went to put my dog down knowing it would be one of the hardest days for me. The vet came out to my car and explained everything, making it safe and easy as possible for my dog. I highly recommend this vet. She made the whole experience go as smoothly as possible, making it less painful for me and my family. The best vet clinic I've been to yet by far. I won't take any of my pets anywhere else. :)

I had an emergency this morning with our new kitten. My usual vet completely let me down and my closest, local vet was totally booked for urgent care. I called Arnold Pet Clinic, they heard my kitten in pain in the background and she told me to head up immediately. They were so sweet, quick & affordable. My new favorite vet! Thank you!

Took my senior rescue dog there for an emergency cause I thought he’d hurt his legs. They got me right in, didn’t want any expensive unnecessary tests. The vet was very knowledgeable and saw that he’s just thrown out and gave me some meds for him. Didn’t charge an outrageous price and very friendly, understanding and accommodating staff.

Absolutely the best veterinarian clinic I have had the pleasure of doing business with! I have been around pets all my life. From working at pet stores, animal shelters, and veterinary clinics myself.Dr. Gatlin, Dr Taylor and the whole staff are extremely knowledgeable, courteous and will bend over backwards to see the best for your pet is taking care of (that says allot living in 33 different states). Very much a tight operation, you will be in and out in minutes…..GREAT JOB LADIES!!!

Wonderful place to go if you’d like you 25-30k service animal killed for a procedure which has a 99.99% success rate throughout the continental us. And no the won’t reimburse you or even admit they screwed up. Instead you’ll get calls from their personal lawyer threatening you. Worst vet ever. # kill your best friend ✔️

They were so wonderful!! My pup was having digestive issues quite suddenly and very violent. I was so worried. I was able to walk in and get to see the doctor in a short time. Turns out he just needed a little medicine. The doctor was kind enough to not push me to have a blood test until we would see if the pills worked. I appreciated that.

I've been here with my dog 2x in the last 6 years. This second time was because we discovered at 5pm that my dog had a bladder infection. The Dr. was out but she called me when she got back that night and was willing to see her after hours. By 9pm we were back home with her first dose of medication. She's the best vet ever!

As straight forward as I can be. There are many great vets in this world and we all love our animals (I know there are some bad exceptions.), but you will never find a more caring, competent vet than Kathy Gatlin. From the basics to, alas, the severe, she is the bestest!!!

Great caring Dr's and staff. Blood work done on one dog for heart worm and they called me with the results on the ans machine before I got home. One of my girls is very difficult to get a blood sample from and Dr Taylor nailed it one the first attempt, she really does rock.One last thing, the final bill..... I was very pleased in that dept too. My girls have a new Dr.and after that they get to go on a walk around White Pines and play in the creek or the lake. This is a win win for them and me.

Our Mastiff became ill a short time after we moved to Angels Camp from WA.(She had the same issue 6 months prior to moving and her vet in WA didn't really have any answers to the cause after $1k in fees and tests. It had cleared up in a few weeks and we thought she was all better.) When her symptoms started here in CA, my Mom had us call Cathy. They stayed late that very day to work us in. Arnold Pet Clinic CARES! They understood my mastiff is my CHILD, not just a pet. Cathy was AWESOME with her and compassionate with us as she broke the news that she wanted to run tests to rule out CANCER. She understood our financial situation and gave us SEVERAL $ levels of EFFECTIVE TESTING OPTIONS and road mapped the best course of actions in her opinion which was the best use of our available funds. Cathy didn't compromise our Girls health or speed of diagnosis in the process and was able to rule out the WORST quickly. She went the extra mile by CALLING the Lab Specialists who ran the blood work she sent in regarding the blood work results which was invaluable - we were able to avoid costly tests by this very simple step which 90% of vets just don't do. They advised her that our Girl had 1 of 3 issues by the blood work they ran which led us to run 1 additional test, saving TIME (and MONEY) in treating our Girl. They had all but 1 of the meds in stock and Cathy called the pharmacy herself and ordered the needed med.It was a long road to recovery. I was able to call and speak to the Vet directly or have my call returned within an hour or so. On 3 occasions Cathy had us come in as soon as we could get there to check on our concerns - WITHOUT an office charge.I can't say enough good things about cathy and her staff. I never felt like I was bothering her with my questions or concerns, She understood money was an obstacle for us and did a GREAT job working with us. I was NEVER made to feel guilty or like a bad parent for having financial troubles. Cathy made sure we made smart choices by giving us ALL the information and advising us on the best course in the big picture.THANK YOU so much for all you did for US!Trooper and Family
