This business is new to the indoor nursery scene, but they are working on it. I did find a gem of a plant for my indoor plant collection. The staff have a good knowledge of plant soils and what to do to promote growth.

I love the BLC! They are way more than a typical hydroponic store. As an at-home horticulturalist/hobbyist it's nice to have a store that sells in smaller quantities and carries a large range of specialty items I don't normally see at the other stores. On top of that they do free classes and workshops occasionally which are both fun and informative

This place is rad! The staff are super friendly and helpful. They are always down for a conversation about living soil and gardening. They have a great selection of garden supplies from organic single amendments to pre-owned bibbles and babbets for a hydro system. It's a smaller shop but packed full of fun gardening times.

Staff is awesome, selection is great, pricing is on point, resale (consignment) room is always packed and constantly recycling with new equipment. I'm always sending people here because they're knowledgeable and friendly- good luck finding that regularly at other area grow stores.

Bought a refurbished microscope from them, and when it failed to function they refused an exchange. Buyer beware.Edit.While I appreciate the implication that I am the one who damaged this device, I assure you I did not. I know how to operate a microscope. I have been classically trained in laboratory science procedures for years.The stage disengaged from the adjustment knob at the bottom and top of the range. When I examined the microscope in your store, I didn't think that it would do this, so I didn't test for it. That isn't normal behavior for a microscope. This isn't user damage. This was a pre-existing issue that prevents the use of the device.
