The store itself is huge. Great large selection of various items. Prices are ok, there are some good deals with having the Ralph's reward card. The store was really clean and very well kept. Everything seemed to be in stock. A huge plus was that there is a Starbucks inside the store. Customer service was very helpful and friendly.

Pretty wide selection of general and non-GMO items for our whole family. Staff members are welcoming and willing to help. This is one of our favorite food shopping places!

Nice looking store. Really good selection of fresh food and prepared food. They have a good selection of beer and wine. A decent selection of seafood and meat. Full service deli with a olive bar and good selection of cheese and deli meats. Though the service at the deli counter was super slow, only one slow person working, though nice. I was going to get some roasted chicken but gave up after what look like a much long endeavor than I wanted to endure.

Shopped here for like 30+ years. This was our grocery store. Lately, it has just gone so downhill. You cannot go on a shopping trip without buying expired items. You have to check every one and you will for sure find expired food. We told the manager about some "fresh" noodles that were 4 months expired and a month later, they were still on the shelves, now 5 months expired. Their beer is expired! How can you sell expired beer? The last straw was last week when we bought 2 bags of expired lettuce and didn't notice until we got home. The romaine lettuce was 8 days expired and over a month past the "picked date" and they cost $10. Go look at their yogurt section and you will see that most are expired.

Clean, good variety but ISLES CROWDED WITH DISPLAYS making it hard to maneuver, causes customer impasses. Self checkout only OK, not nearly as good as Walmart. When alarm at door goes off no one resets it - they just let it eventually time out.

I’ve been living and shopping in Arcadia for close to 40 yrs now. It used to be an upscale friendly place to shop at this Ralph’s but that has seemed to change. I’ve noticed that there are some really hateful unprofessional employees working there now. Very unhelpful and unsociable. Especially two women in the bakery. It always seems like they are mad about something and don’t want to help. Like it’s an effort to do something. Never explains anything either but only stares at you like you’ve been done something wrong. I will be looking else where for a more adequate place to shop. I am big on service and the service here is slowly going away. There are a lot of staff that are nice but More are being hired that just don’t care

The guy that helped me with my curbside pickup today was awesome! I wish I could've gotten his name. He was such a sweetie! I really wanted to give him a tip but he walked back in so quick and I went inside looking for him but he was already off. 😮💨 that was probably the best curbside interaction I've had and I really appreciate the help! I like this location. Haven't had a bad experience, it's always been pleasant.

I can't say enough about the wonderful service I received at the Ralphs (Arcadia, CA) Floral Department on 4-4-23. I needed a last minute floral arrangement. The florist Gloria was getting ready to clock out for the day. She not only stayed behind to help me find the perfect flowers, but also took her time making the most beautiful arrangement. She and her assistant Arlene went above and beyond to assure that I was taken care of. I received numerous compliments on the arrangement. Thanks so much to you both for all your help.

While I usually shop at a competing market, I heard Ralph's had better meat. Since I'm not a good judge of meat, I thought I'd give Ralph's a try. It was an interesting exchange, or I should say, lack of exchange with the employees...first I stopped by the floral dept., smiled at the woman working in that department, she looked straight at me and didn't utter a word back, pretty much the same experience in the produce dept., when I came to the meat dept., I asked the man working there about either of the two cuts I was looking for...he said they don't carry them, "they're too expensive." Then all he kept saying after that is, "Buy the chuck, it's on sale" and turned away. I didn't after that being my third unpleasant encounter and the meat did not look appetizing at all, from there to the check out line...to the next to the last employee, the checker, the only word he utter, not even "hello" was, "Do you want bags?"...last but not least, Star Bucks...yet another oh so, not, friendly Ralph's employee...I use that tongue in cheek...the ONLY person that was friendly and had a smile was the lady in Star Bucks who mixed our beverages, Not who took our order. I am friendly, say hello to people easily but what I felt there was a lot of unhappy folks and it showed through to the customers. Not only was the meat not any better than the market I originally went to but I left the store feeling not particularly upbeat or like that was a good experience. I'm sure there will be many who will say the total opposite from my experience but I'm just sharing how it was for me today.

The self bagging system is flawed. Your machines say "place the item in the bag" yet you tell us not to bag the items until the end. If you put the bag on the counter or put the item on the counter a second too late or don't put the item on the counter, there's an issue. Attendants, please don't be condescending. The system tells you to do one thing and you verbally tell us to do another thing so please please don't act as if we're the problem. You could say "sorry, the system is not perfect". But instead you tell us we're the problem. Not the best customer service.

I have been going here for ages, so it is very familiar, and easy to get in and out of on my way to and from work. My main complaint is that the section where they sell bottled water, sparkling water and items like tonic water are always out of stock on many items. Bare shelves almost every time I go in. The cashiers I have known for a long time and mostly very nice, although there are some store managers that could really use a brush-up course on customer service. There is also one deli worker that on occasion acts like you are disturbing him by asking for help.

My fave grocery store in the N. SGV area. Good bakery, produce, wine area, deli & meat depts. I drive a bit out of my way to buy one particular kind of bread - not gonna say what kind!

Horrible experience with an dull - witted and lazy cashier whose name is Oscar L. He ran my card for the wrong item and didn't want to fix it. He said he cannot redo it. I went to the Ralph's 30 min later and talked to the other cashier and she simply helped with it, just pressing couple buttons. Please teach him how to refund the item and run the card afterwards.

He always keeps busy but takes time to help his customers.

After adding a Starbucks to the store the prices on everything increased.No one seems to be able to navigate this parking lot as you often have to wait for someone driving the wrong way down the isles or parking almost against your car.Does have a DMV kiosk so that's a plus

This review is strictly regarding renting a RugDoctor. I did not know asking for an employee to help me rent one RugDoctor machine would put such a dent in employee attitudes and the one who actually helped me, Matt, was super uninterested in making this transaction comfortable.Upon entering the store I located the RugDoctor area which is next to the Starbucks and self-check out stands. I saw one employee next to the self-check out machine and proceeded to ask her for help. She was on her phone so it took her a solid 10 - 15 secs to look up but before I could get a word out she said "She can help you out over there", pointing 10 feet to another employee who was using the self-check out machine. I was confused because I thought the employee using the machine was a customer but when that person helped me, she called around for an employee who was well-versed with renting the RugDoctor equipment out.Enter Matt, who gave a strong appearance and attitude of "sigh, let's get this over with". Thankfully, I had already done my research and did not have any questions regarding usage so the transaction was as quick as it could be but Matt made a couple of side comments that made this interaction unsavory. First comment was him commenting on where I live by saying that he lives near me (Driver's License is required for renting as he was filling out a rental contract). I have no issues with saying you live near me but I responded that I did not grow up in said address and recently moved there from Northern California. Matt made a small comment saying "that makes sense". That whole comment was unnecessary and made me think why he felt the need to say that. The second comment was him saying he wants to go home while he's waiting for the computer to load up. At that point I knew this transaction was below bare minimum of customer service. I'm all for employees wanting to go home, especially after a long day of work, but one can be more professional.The only reason I went to his store was because the Ralph's off 3601 E Foothill Blvd did not have the equipment I wanted to rent out. I was at that store 15 mins before this store and although they didn't have what I wanted, the hospitality and service I received from one of the males there was 1000% better than this store.

These employees don't understand, they're hired in part for Customer Service! You sell things to the public, that's your job. I had an interaction in 1 way or another with 3 employees and they all had bad attitudes, especially Nicci and the manager Mike/Mark is a liar and what an insensitive human being!!. I just talked with managers at other Ralph's and they do accept formula returns. I returned 1 that was opened because it broke my daughter out IT'S A BABY FORMULA SHORTAGE AND WE'RENOTBGIVING FREE MONEY AWAY FOR THINGS THAT HARM OUR CHILDREN!!! And parents are trying to feed their babies on what we can find and I couldn't get in touch with my wife but there was only 1 bottle of 1 kind on the shelf, the last 1 but it was 20$ and he said it can't be returned,even unopened. I wasn't going to open it but if we did, we would have kept it, like so many other kinds but to say it can't be returned unopened, is rediculous!! And I just spoke with managers of 2 others ralphs that said yes, if they had some. I was left with such a bad taste in my mouth for this store that I told people about it and they too had nothing nice to say about this store and theyre interactions. I'll never be back here. Bad service and bad attitudes.

I'm giving a 2 star just because I do still like coming here. But Debbie the sales manager is very sarcastic and did not like it one bit. If I asked what the price was after the discount is applied. It doesn't mean you have to be rude and say the price and point at the computer. I'm not dumb. Just be careful with this lady.

There's always parking, the carts are usually clean, the shelves are full and it's easy to find what I'm looking for. If I can't the staff is very helpful. Overall I love this store. My only unpleasant experience was with an older, blonde manager acting as a cashier who just looked and acted as if everyone is beneath her. As long as I don't interact with her I can always expect a pleasant experience.

I only go here because it's so close. Horrible organization across the store, I've bought items that i found expired when I got home, the fruits/vegetables go bad really fast (especially compared to other stores in the area), and 1/3 of the staff are not pleasant to be around.

I have mixed emotion, I've been coming to this for about 7 years... Most of them are decent people.. today I have to deal with the cashier Arlene,,,,,Arlene is not the greatest lady I observed her dealing with two different people ahead of me she was so nice to them when it came to me she was very rude .. I called her manager I let her know that happened , manager was a decent lady... All I'm saying if I Arlene she don't like her Job go work somewhere else simple as that. Happy holidays everyone.

We forgot to write down the name of manager tonight on Jan 26th 2021, but that lady try to overcharge us and she changed the price three times! I think she probably think we looks easily to be taken advantage of. So if you guys want to buy stuff here make sure the price is right. Don’t be tricked by the night mean manager over here! She does overcharged people by whatever she wants!

I have been frequenting this Ralph's market since November 2011. The produce and meat have always been fresh and they usually have a great selection. The food products are well organized and fairly easy to find. Not only that, if you have Ralph's membership card, you get up to 20 cents off per gallon at participating Shell gas stations. Nice market with good parking, competitive pricing and the customer service is quite good, highly recommended.

I recently spent 4 months working in the area,found Ralph's about 3rd day here.I cook all my own food,never eat out.This store is super fine! The entire staff was friendly and always helpful,Al the butcher,thanks man,always ready with advice on cuts of meat,cooking tips,and an all around great guy!! Anita,cashier,thanks for the speedy checkouts and early morning laughs,I wish I could remember everyone's name,you all made my stay here much more enjoyable,thanks a bunch!!!

Despite what Google Maps currently has listed, this location is open for business. The store is clean and seemingly well managed, and I have yet to have any issues here. Personally I prefer Trader Joe's, but this grocery store is convenient for small shopping lists and more basic food items.
