I bought a 50.00 apple gift card on self checkout. It flashed an error saying help was on the way. A female cashier responded. Pushed some buttons where it directed her to refund the card. She said it showed paid and sent me along my way. When I tried to activate, it said invalid code. I returned to CVS, same day, to be told they can’t refund gift cards. I reiterated the problem was ineffective staff. The manager, a very surly Carlos R., ask if I had a question. I relayed the story demanding it be fixed since the issue was through no fault of mine. He said gift cards can’t be bought at self checkout. I asked where the caught was. Why didn’t the cashier know that policy. I informed him I was 70 years old, heading for the airport he’d not see my face again. He rudely responded “Could I be that lucky?” “What?” “Could I be that lucky not to see your face again?” I told Carlos R he’d be that lucky. But not lucky enough to avoid a scathing review of his stores poor customer service. He shoved some receipts in my direction. I asked what they were since he’d explained nothing to me. He confirmed my refund. He asked “Anything else?” I said yes. Please get additional trading on appropriate customer service.It takes a lot for me to complain. These staff members were off the chart on ineffectiveness and rude behavior.

It was very unfortunate that I had to deal with a so called “OPERATIONS MANAGER” who showed not empathy in trying to help a customer out. On 3/14/24, I had to return an incorrect purchase made that same day and her words were “You will immediately get the money back in your card”, having only $30 to purchase my feminine products, the money clearly wasn’t going back right away. I didn’t have enough funds and she made me go through such an inconvenience all because she said I’d get the money right back to my card. I figured I can scan my card and problem solved but no! Next time you should speak correctly and make sure you know what you’re saying, rather than leave customers feeling not supported by you. Coming from management myself, you clearly need to work on coming up for possible solutions in helping customers out rather than roll your eyes and tell me you can’t help. Shoutout to the lady that took over and actually gave me options to figure the situation out. I hope no one has to deal with someone like you who is so unprofessional.

Vaccination appointments are the worst. Firstly, checking in online does nothing for you. I figured out the hard way that you still have to check in at the desk. When I did so, the tech told me that I couldn’t get a flu shot there because I hadn’t selected it, which was obviously wrong. Apparently my provider does not cover flu shots at CVS locations so she told me it would be a large copay which really should have been indicated right after I made the appointment for the flu shot.

Please don't advertise the pharmacy open as 24 hrs. if it's not open 24 hours. Got there right at 10 pm with my friend who felt very ill. The pharmacy lady told us she couldn't help since they were closing. We just made it though....but not willing to help my sick friend who just needed her penicillin.

The short women at nite time. Is harassing everyone .. she think everyone is stealing. Is she the owner. I guess she only a employee who is harassing people karma will get her. In future. When the company will not need her. They will said bay bay. She need to stop follow up people. No one is stealing at these location. She follow my wife only because the look. Not good. ….. company need to fired her. Or the store will lose a lot costumers because she bad actitud

After I placed the order at this CVS, more than 3 items were unavailable via Uber Eats, which makes this CVS dishonest about their availability on their items, therefore unreliable. Also, Uber Eats should have a better system for items that are out of stock and care about their customers if they are doing business with dishonest companies like this CVS. This resulted in my cancelation of the order. CVS should not display their items they do not have and Uber Eats should not have wrongfully charged me for the "drivers fee" when I had such a bad and inconvenient experience of not only having to cancel my order of items I wanted but it should not even be my responsibility to pay the driver since it was not my fault CVS did not have more than 3 of my items. The following items were shaving cream and razors, harvest snap peas (original), Hersheys milk chocolate nuggets, (NOT the truffle fudge hersheys milk chocolates), and there was at least 3 more items that needed to be switched or were inaccurate to the order. It was wrong to be charged when there were at least 3 or more items that needed to be changed in my order it makes it completely unethical and unfair on a customer to completely change their order inconveniently and force them to pay when there were so many items to choose from with such an inaccurate, misleading inventory delinquency on CVS's part for not having the items they have listed availability on the Uber Eats App. I should not be wrongfully charged for false listings that I have not even received and wasted my time and energy and money on this frustrating transaction. There was a false pretense of availability for specific items I wanted to buy that wasn't even available and it was "too late" to cancel because the driver already went to the store. So honestly that was CVS's fault for inaccurately keeping a false inventory of items that are "not available". This was a very frustrating experience and I don't recommend this CVS to anyone especially not through Uber Eats not giving any care about the businesses that don't have available items if you "don't report it with in a certain amount if time". There should be a better buffer of time around the holidays since this happened right before a holiday weekend and this transaction was a great display of Uber Eats and CVS's apathetic customer service.

Went there for CVS OTC allergy medicine, they handed me a box of same color and turned out to be wrong product. I noticed on way home and turned around to take back.They refused refund and exchange.They need to have verbal notification of such policy which only benefits them.You suck CVS BP.

The CVS location on Baldwin Ave. in Arcadia is one of the few CVS locations that is open 24/7. Friendly and helpful staff makes going there even better.

Open 24/7 because that’s how long it takes you to get out of there. The line is always 20 people long. Make sure to come on your day off so you can clock in and help them out.

If the last CVS I went to is one star, this CVS pharmacy is like the negative 100. The pharmacy manager is the worst one I have seen. Apparently he doesn’t want to deal with us. We arrived at 5:53 and he turned us down saying the pharmacy is closed at 6. I pointed out it is not 6 yet and it is for prescription. He gave us his attitude saying okay thank you thank you for letting me know in a sarcasm tone. Then went back to the counter saying he can’t believe that, how dare we do this. Then he handed my card back to me, he said it again. It is highly unprofessional and pity of him. I can’t believe it would happen at pharmacy where people need medical help. He should go back for ethic training and also just act like a human.

Super inefficient place. First there are 25 people here waiting for their prescriptions and it looks like they have been here for hours. But even worse than the slow service, my prescription was phoned in 3 hours ago but they say they don't even start working on it until you come in. That's right they don't even start working on your prescription until you walk in so basically there is now reason to have your order called in. And when I came in there was a line for drop off of 30 minutes. Finally they said it would be an hour wait and it took all over 2 hours

This morning I was looking to get medicine for my fiancé as he got sick from working early mornings at Santa Anita race track. I was not expecting CVS to be opened so early in the morning, but was very elated to see that it was. I was there at 4 AM. I was looking for, cvs brand cough drops, cvs brand version of NyQuil/DayQuil. To be honest, I met the nicest, check-out employee I’ve encountered for a overnight/graveyard shift…( I get the most people are cranky for late night shifts, but she wasn’t.) thank you (I think Angela) for your help!She help me ring up my order, and I left very happy and satisfied with my purchase.

Pharmacy is slow if there's a long line. There isn't a drive thru pharmacy like the one on Las Tunas and Baldwin if you care more about that. But this CVS has basically everything you are looking for. They finally have 2 self-checkout machines because it seems that they are always understaffed with cashiers.

The employees at CVS at midnight (12am) are not nice. There are two ladies, a thin young female employee and fat older female employee. They don’t help check out customers in the front. We have to check out at the self-check out and it’s troublesome. They only stock items and don’t want to work in the front cashier. Very rude!

Your white female doctor is such a competent doctor, my friend was bleeding and she can’t hear me and friend to finish one sentence, says cause we don’t have the appointment so we should leave, while she was playing her phone. She was working on 08/19/22 Friday afternoon 4:30 pm. Is this the right attitude to treat a patient while he is bleeding? And you are a doctor?

I went to this pharmacy for the first time on April 2, 2017 due to the urgent care that I went to stating that they were the only CVS that would fill the prescription per my insurance. I literally waited at least 40 minutes in line. There were two women working the line but they just seemed to have no sense of urgency; despite how long the line was. One of the women named Kanya, left the drop off line and started taking people from the pick up line. I asked her if she could work both lines; one at a time to get the drop off line down. She commented; "I'm working the pick up line." Well, I already knew that. That was the reason for my suggestion. Then I went to the main register at the front of the store and there were at least 10 people in line up there. Management REALLY needs to get this store in check. Improvement is GREATLY NEEDED!

Every time I got a prescription filled they tried to charge me full price even though I had their prescription plan. The last time I went I left without one of my prescriptions because they would not give me the price they had promised when I bought their plan. When I got in line for the prescription, there were 18 people in line before me. I asked the pharmacist why the line was so long. He said the company did not want to hire enough staff to accommodate the need.

So they got one star because you can't give them zero. Or negative stars for that matter.This is the absolute WORST cvs I have ever been to. Unfortunately I have to go to this location because it's the only one that carries or is willing to fill my prescriptions. However, every month I come in, nothing I need is in stock so thy have to order them. I call back in the next day or two and they had forgotten to order it so they have to do it again.The lines are always extremely long. The customer service at the pharmacy is AWFUL. They are totally incapable of doing their jobs. Most of the time they're just standing around talking to one another. Or they take 15+ minutes with one patient and none of the other workers step up to help thin the line out. It's absolutely ridiculous.If you don't have to go to this store, then I would definitely recommend going to a different location. This is the worst cvs plain and simple.

The lady who answers the phone at the pharmacy is very rude and condescending. I don't know who she is because she never introduces herself. She should be fired!This place is also very slow whether you pick up or have your meds delivered. I asked to have my meds delivered 4 days ago and I still haven't gotten it. AVOID THIS BRANCH!

CVS promotes checking history for medical allergies.This CVS has a record of my medical allergy and regularly prescribes the wrong medicine. Each time, I have to call back to have it replaced. They verify that a note is on my records, but do not change thier practices.

Went in to buy a charger last night. Read a sign and advertisement price of 5.99. Grabbed the charger and got in line. Rang up as 14.99 and I notified manager ERIC that I saw 5.99. He went over to the rack and saw 5.99 as well and when he got back to the register he said oh well, it’s 14.99 sorry. I then explained I’ll buy it and leave but if it’s defective for this price can I bring it back. He said yeah charge your phone up and bring it back got damn people. I was in awe of his response I had my 10yr old daughter with me and how we were treated was beyond crazy.

The store employee, Eden, is really an excellent worker. She knows how to help and sell cvs membership. She is so patient and friendly. I found out that she is completely different from some employees in other cvs stores nearby. Best wishes to her in her career with cvs.

One of the best CVS stores around. They carry most everything in inventory that CVS has. Highly recommend for any the thing you're looking for. The only thing they won't have will be the white enamel grab bar. I got the last one.
