I absolutely love this store I couldn't be happy or giving them my money their service is outstanding Terry and her crew are just fantastic people really caring and dedicated to all the species. very easy to talk to clean shop wonderful environment. If nothing else take your kids in and just have them look around it's cheaper than going to the zoo and closer you won't be disappointed if you're into reptiles.

I've known John almost 10 years now and the guy never fails to impress. Most pet stores have reptile section but can't find staff that'll clean or show them the kind of attention they need. John and his wife are an amazing team I watched then go from running things out of their home to having their own brick and mortar shop and they deserve it. They are ethical in their breeding and truly care for their animals.

Family owned and operated, Snake and Reptile passion resonate here! Clean and doesn't stink. This company deserves to be noted the BEST!! It's a must for the reptile lovers and seekers. The lady was super knowledgeable and informative about anything you need to know regarding care, breed, feed, containment, temperament, etc. Ohhh and they are custom breeders with multiple variations available for purchase.

Very helpful and the owner gave us so much information for our bearded dragon. He made sure to let us know that he is available anytime qe have questions regarding how we cared for spike. There are lots of large reptiles we were given a opportunity to watch a monitor lizard feeding.

I go all the way over there to Rog Reptiles for 3 reasons, 1 Great food prices and quality for my reptiles. 2 the customer service is amazing, very kind workers even the owner 😀 3 they have super cool humongous snakes and different kinds of reptiles, not to mention the Halloween decor with Freddy Krueger (real size) and moreI definitely recommend this place to all those reptile lovers like me ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 🦎👍😉

LOVE LOVE LOVE GOING HERE! I feel like every time I go, I have to check on the animals that have been there! This is a reptile store that definitely knows what they are talking about and has a variety of cool reptiles! Very unique reptiles for sure! I drive from Barstow just to get live food for our beardie! And we learn something new each time we go!

A phenomenal reptile store. They truly go the extra mile to make sure you understand what you are purchasing and what the animal needs. Their cages are very clean. They welcome questions and don’t mind if you call to give an update and ask for more information. I am so happy with my snakes from them, they are doing great!

This store is so amazing! They work so hard by giving out correct information, making sure their animals have clean cages everyday, etc. They have given me THE BEST experience ever! They were so nice and helpful. Definitely recommend going to their shop. I absolutely love and adore my clean, HEALTHY, snake!!! Anyways, keep being successful ROG REPTILES!!!

Only been a couple of times so far. But they're the only reptile store in Apple Valley so I had to leave a review since they're close by.Friendly service, nice people. They apparently produce all the animals themselves, which is great. Always nice knowing the animals are definitely captive bred and well care for. And these folks did seem proud of the beautiful creatures they had bred which is always an A+ from me if I'm looking to purchase a living thing.I have plenty of animals at the moment, so I go in mostly for supplies and feeders. But no complaints from me. Last bunch of feeders I got were a cup of roaches and they were all alive and hydrated.

If you are ever looking for pinkies for your snakes... This is the place to go. They have always had them everytime we have went. They are have a super cool assortment of snakes. Definitely check them out!

Honestly way better than the reptile factory they actually help you they have better prices and they will answer all your questions I got 5 snakes here and none have ever given me a problem just follow the directions and do research before you get your animal all these bad reviews on here trust me don't listen they're false from people who have conflict of interests just trying to put wonderful people down and that's not cool

Awesome store for reptiles & invertebrates! NOT overloaded with pricey stuff that they just want to push on like the chain stores. Wide selection of reptiles & inverts, knowledgeable and VERY friendly, amazing prices and just the right stuff! Overall, best experience I've had at a pet store since moving to the high desert!

Not impressed with this store. Went there last week. Walked in & wasn’t greeted. They sat behind the counter and stared at me the whole time I was in there without saying anything to me. I felt incredibly uncomfortable. Reading the reviews, this is typical & reading their responses to some of these reviews - they are confrontational with the same robot response to any review that reflects poorly against them. I would give this store zero stars if I could. 0 out of 5 stars, would not recommend. I got better customer service at the Reptile Factory.

Very knowledgeable owners. Excellent customer service. Extremely helpful and patient with all of my endless questions. They carry products that are of the best quality and very safe for the reptiles. If they don't have what you need at the moment please be patient and they will work hard to get it for you.

The best reptile shop I've ever been to. My kids loved it, they have a huge selection of reptiles and large snakes as well! Most kingsnakes I've seen on display. Also John is very knowledgeable about anything regarding reptiles and is very friendly. I highly recommend giving them a visit.

Super friendly staff & very acknowledgable. I got a couple of tarantulas & scorpions a couple weeks ago from them & they are happy & healthy arachnids! I'm overjoyed, I really love having a reptile store nearby my house, It's super convenient & they carry a wider selection than the feed barns around here (not downplaying just saying=). Plenty of gorgeous snakes & lizards to look at as well.<3 Excited to go back. Thanks y'all!

Very disappointed with this business. They "hired" my 14 year old to volunteer in exchange for feeder mice for her reptiles. Not only did they have her work the LA reptile expo where she sold thousands of dollars worth of reptiles for them, she's 14 and one day she worked over 9 hours one day. She ended up buying her own feeder mice on top of volunteering. Then after she sprained her ankle and still came to work they told her they didn't need her anymore because now they have a 13 year old volunteer. She's been working for free since March getting bit, cleaning enclosures and working the cash register. Is this even legal?

I would not recommend this store to anyone. I went in a few weeks ago and as you can see from all of their bad reviews, the owners are confrontational and they just call everyone who has anything negative to say a liar instead of reflecting on their business choices and serve our community better. I am sure my review will be no exception. I wish we had more options in Apple Valley than a store run by teenagers who will only help you with the animals in which they have an interest.

The owners are very friendly, their animals are healthy, they stock some really exceptional reticulated pythons, prices are very reasonable, the shop is attractive, and I love the addition of the t-shirts and collectibles. I'll definitely be coming back and I suggest you check them out!

Clean store, knowledgeable staff. Many of the animals available there were personally bred by the folks in charge. I look forward to stopping in every week for feeder insects if for no other reason than to gab with John or Terri. Support family businesses like this before Petco and Petsmart.
