Fish are very healthy and I can tell the staff really love the animals. I bought a betta a while back and she’s doing really well. Great selection, great prices, great husbandry. This is probably the best pet store in the area.

What an amazing aquarium store, every time i go in there's something new or different to look. I recently bought this Red Snakeskin Discus from there i Really like how it looks, i set this tank up almost a year ago with a few cory sterbai and a few golden mystery snails and now I've got my first Discus. Anyone reading needs to check it out by old theater in Antioch

Last week was my and my husband’s first time visiting JJ Aquarium, looking to set up our new tank and was not disappointed. David is a true gem. His knowledge, EXCELLENT customer service and enthusiasm is a breath of fresh air and extremely helpful for someone who doesn’t know much about anything exotic. I’ve gone back just to ask questions and he’s never short of answers or his willingness to help. We’ve made this our go to store because of the quality and vast selection and because of David… He deserves a bonus. Thanks again.

JJ aquarium has one of the best collection of discus, angelfish, shrimps, plants, hard scape and other unique fishes like killifish, yellow lab cichlids, pea puffers and fish food, products. The price is very affordable.These guys are going into my tank from JJ aquarium

I absolutely love this place. When I went the young lady working was so knowledgeable and very customer focused. I came here right after going to a large store and saw the prices were actually cheaper, and the fish were healthier! They source really unique items, and have fantastic sales!

Love this local fish store. If you are in the area or would love to make a trip. I would definitely recommend you stopping by. They have a beautiful selection of fish, plants, food, decor, etc. And if you ever need help they have wonderful staff who would love to help. This local shop is definitely a new favorite on my list!

Absolute must see fish store! This LFS is ran by 2 amazing hobbyists who are very welcoming and warm. The shop itself has an amazing variety of healthy and active fish. Their show tanks are mesmerizing! I love their dry goods section, they carry Aquarium Co-Op products and great medication/tools. If you want to see and support a GREAT local shop, this is the place to go! Pack your bags and tell your friends, JJ Aquarium is the shizzle!

JJ's aquarium is always an awesome place to visit Even if you don't plan on getting something it's a great place to get inspired! But If you are looking for something they have a lot in that small space and if they don't have it they're totally willing to order it for you and do what they can to help you! If you're in the aquarium hobby this is a great store to visit!

This place is great! The owners and employees are very knowledgeable and offers extremely helpful advice, and are more interested in helping you have a good fishkeeping experience than in selling you stuff you don’t need. The prices are good, and the equipment and supplies are quality. They sell Aquarium Co-op brand equipment for the same prices listed on the Aquarium Co-op website. They also sell locally bred fish, and the owners breed some of the fish this store sells.Literally every fish store I’ve EVER been to has ich in at least one of the tanks, but this is the ONLY fish store I’ve ever been to where an employee IMMEDIATELY put a “not for sale” label on a tank upon seeing that just one fish had ich. These folks are not trying to knowingly sell you unhealthy fish, unlike some other stores. I’ll definitely be coming here as my go-to fish store for fish and equipment.

John, John & Shawn were incredibly helpful in sourcing some beautiful show pieces for my 300 gallon show tank, in less than 24 hours. I would highly recommend those aquarists looking for quality, fair pricing & transparency to visit J.J for their aquarium needs. Extremely impressed!

Grabbed some frozen food and live blackworms, I am very happy with my purchase. The cashier was very quick to process the purchase, we even chatted about Medaka rice fish and corydoras.
