First of all, there is an absolutely beautiful view from the top of this amazing winery! The sampling of each wine was so appreciated and so many different types. The tour was incredibly informative and the steel table repurposed from a World War II submarine in the cave was beyond super duper cool! Great sampling area with another amazing view available! A definite highly recommended stop on your next Napa Valley getaway!

CADE is up the mountain and would recommend if you’re doing CADE, you should stick to a mountain day and visit 13th Vineyard, and some of the other wineries on the hill.This place offers spectacular views when the fog clears, and Danielle has done an excellent job with her wines at making them approachable today, versus needing to wait several years.

This is one of the most beautiful wineries in Napa. Our hostess was the best, it was a great tour with great wine. Great pours too. The hostess was so good that she almost had me on the wine club (which we could not afford) but my wife talked me down. Definitely check this one out

CADE is by appointment only. Is the experience worth $70-90? It depends what you’re looking for, but we think so. We wanted the best scenery Napa can offer with top tier cabs, and I’d say we got those for sure. The views were expansive and varied, the place was almost tranquil (since they limit their guest quantity). The tour was informative albeit a bit short. The tasting was very educational and our guide Chris was really pleasant, helpful, and knowledgeable. We got to try all five of their wines (2 Sauvignon Blancs, 3 Cabernet Sauvignons) and some extra reds from the valley floor for comparison, all very good, fun experience. Their reds start at 80, then 110, then 220. Not cheap for young adults like us, but for the quality, worth it for the special occasions. Would recommend to try at least one time, if you have the means.

The drive up to this beautiful winery is amazing and once you arrive, the views are magnificent. We were set up to taste overlooking the infinity pool, with a view of the valley beyond. Our host offered a nice little snack of almonds, cheese and crackers and then the tasting began. From whites to reds, the wines were wonderful. We were offered tasting of some wines not on the set upon tasting list and “revisited” a few as well. There was a hefty tasting fee, but definitely worth it for the wines, view, and overall experience.

Hands down one of the most beautiful venues we visited and the wine was equally as impressive. Kevin was an amazing host taking the upmost care to craft a tailored the experience specifically to accommodate our group. Never felt rushed and extremely private and personalized. Would highly recommend Cade and Kevin if you are even considering it!

This was my favorite Napa winery experience so far! It's so pretty, and Emmett was an amazing and knowledgeable host. Loved that there was cheese to go with our wine. It's on the mountain and the views are gorgeous.

fantastic views up in the mountains. very nice seating and cheese spread and tasting with good overview from the staff without being too intense about the details. easy enough for someone who doesn't know much about wine to engage while still relaxing and fun. highly recommend a visit here.

Last month we traveled to Napa for my 40th and unfortunately our trip took a turn for the worse when my other half got terrible food poisoning. As you can imagine, we had to cancel our reservations unexpectedly and were heartbroken about the birthday plans going off track. I called the reservations we had for the day and all the other wineries and restaurants were very understanding, refunding us fully on the spot. Cade refused to refund and would not even offer a discount on the wine tasting we did not consume. I gave them the benefit of the doubt that their team member maybe didn't know do the right thing but management would. My emails to management didn't receive a response.While this review is not about Cade's wine, I can't support a company that doesn't have more human understanding. We won't visit them on future trips and they lost our business for life. Given our service experience I'd like to recommend everyone try other wineries in the area if considering options.

We had an incredible tasting experience at Cade. Kevin poured us generous tastings and really walked us through not only the wines but also of the history of the region from a geological and developmental standpoint. He answered our questions and provided some great insight and conversation. He was very knowledgeable! The pace at this tasting room is intimate and slow, we never felt rushed, but we never had to wait for our next pour, either. The atmosphere is quiet, really in nature, and we learned from Kevin that the tasting facility has been made from recycled materials. The wines themselves were incredible. I have never had a tasting in which I actually liked all of the wines poured. I’m more of a red drinker and those were incredible, but I wanted to take their whites home as well! Though you have to make a reservation before you have to come, it is well worth it, as they stagger their appointments well. You really feel welcome there. We didn’t really to the proper research before coming here so we didn’t know what to expect. I was so impressed that I just had to write this review! Thank you!

The location has a beautiful view but that’s about the extent of my positive feedback. The wine is good but not spectacular. We found it to be overpriced as compared to more bolder full bodied wines that we tried at other wineries. The lady that hosted us, was nice, but talked sports the entire time instead of wine. I learned zero about their processing or what makes their wine unique. It was one of the strangest tasting experiences for me. It felt like we were hanging out at someone’s house after Monday night football. I would think they would have been more disciplined to focus on the wine. There were a total of five tastings and the host said go ahead and start drinking. No discussion on each glass and the region where the grapes are grown, etc. Nothing about the winery, who owns it, no education at all. I really wanted to learn more - oh well. We won’t be back to this winery.

Amazing property with views and service that far exceeds the quality of the wine. On the upper end of the tour price range but if you pass on vanity wine, the view and locale is worth the admission price. Fleming wines up the trail is far superior - get Kelly's wine and come here to enjoy it

I was very excited to set up an event your winery for July. My mother's 70 birthday is coming up and she dreamt of having a birthday with her family and closest friend here. I've been promised countless time a call or email back with no sucess. Sadly I will be finding another winery.

Celebrated my birthday at CADE and had the most wonderful time. From when we arrived to the time we departed, we experienced impeccable service and attentiveness from the lovely staff. Every single wine was enjoyable and the ambiance of the estate just makes Cade second to none. I am so excited to visit again. The review about their Sauvignon Blanc is interesting when they're rolling out 99+ Cabs, but I get it. People like what they like. Cade produces decadent and beautiful cabernets with a tasting experience you'll talk about with friends. The drive up is memorable too. A must try Napa winery.That said, their customer service is absolutely horrid. They are quite proud of their wine and succeed on that end. Not so much on the customer support/experience side.

Drove up here with no reservation and no expectations but to park the car briefly to see the area from the parking lot. We are big fans of Howell Mtn. A man came out with a skeptical look on his face as if to question what we were doing. We explained our intent (again, no expectation) and he replied with “we don’t allow people to walk around”. It was extremely rude and provided 0 foundation for cultivating any further interest we may have had for learning more about the winery. Hey dude, how about, “I’m sorry we can’t accommodate you at the moment but here’s some information, feel free to look at the view from the parking lot. Let me know if there anything else I can do”?? Could he be more pretentious?? Your loss and the business you work for, dude!

Our first experience at an appointment-only winery and glad we did it. The surroundings are spectacular, and the unrushed pace made the tasting a joy. No shoving crowds trying to drink as much as possible - instead you can sit out on the patio with Napa at your feet and try their spectacular wines. Not cheap by any standard, but some of the best wines we have tasted.

CADE is certainly off the normal path for wine tastings in Napa Valley. I heard about this winery through an Instagram influencer, and I'm glad I did! This was the first tasting I had with my friends in Napa, and the view and wine were exceptional. Robert, our sommelier, was very knowledgeable about both the wine and the area, which made for an interesting and engaging tasting. Highly recommend making the trip up the mountain to take in the stunning views and drink some lovely wine.

The location itself could make the 5 star rating, but the wines also happen to be delicious. It's situated on top of Howell Mountain with a view of the whole Napa Valley. Make an appointment and you'll get a great tour through their wines, and if you ask they'll probably let you taste some from their sister wineries!

Beautiful winery, great tasting experience, good wines - although at the high end of pricing. Be sure to see the wine caves that are immaculate. Also, the Manzanita trees are beautiful and well maintained.

Very pretentious guide. Put our private party with a group on a 10 am after we booked way in advance. Two bottles leaked when we left and when we returned they only replaced one. Said the other was a charity item so they wouldn’t honor it. I guess they could not put two and two together to figure out our party paid for the silent auction item we won. I say stay away as there are many other places that will treat you better at a better price. Very disappointed.
