Have a very large selection of more uncommon candy and it is less expensive than other major chains thar carry it. The cashier I checked out with was friendly, kind, energetic and funny. She had a great work ethic. Definitely brightens up peoples days every day she works. Props to her she needs a raise.

Good variety on household basics. Let's be honest, this is a DISCOUNT store so don't expect top of the line products. But I happily visit the store often for all kinds of items for my home. They also put items on sale regularly so I save even more money each trip!

Clean store, friendly staff and good prices. They don't have a huge selection of items, and you might not find the exact brand your looking for, but they do a decent job of trying to keep the basics on hand. They do even have a small cooler / freezer food section with basic food groceries like meat / cheeses etc. My families only complaint is that the shopping carts are not big enough.

I really like dollar general, I intended for this to be my shopping spot. My fiancé worked here, she was really excited to be working at a place where she could finally get out and talk to people and be helpful. But the manager at this place did nothing but create drama and not only did she create it, she allowed it to spread through her employees, and even spreads it to her customers. She even argues with her customers. Who treats employees like this?!? And the district manager will be sure to let her get away with it because they’re friends. The manager has been petty and lied about my fedex packages saying they’ve gone out when really they’re in her store for two days. This place acts like they need employees but don’t bother doing a good job because they’ll treat you like your a threat to their position and push you out. My star is for everyone other than the two people I mentioned because you all rock it despite the bull you deal with. This store needs help, I seriously hope someone looks into this because no one should be made to feel uncomfortable to shop in a town they live in!!

I am employed at Dollar general but I can honestly say that our store is clean, customers are greeted when entering our store and the staff makes each customer feel comfortable and is treated with respect and they are helped with whatever is in need to make their shopping experience a pleasurable one with a message in our actions that we'd like for them to return to our store again soon. Dollar General is a great place to be employed.

Customer service is always top notch when I am in need of finding something. Personally guided tour by the manager Tori, and always with a smile on her face. Great selection, never disappointed, always leave with more than what was on my list.

Dollar General is generally genuinely great. So grateful for the heros that cashierd, stocked shelves and just frickin' showed up to work during the Covid 19 shut down. Without them...well I don't wanna think about what we would have done had they not been willing to risk so much...so we could buy what we needed.

I was boycotting this place for months but I finally caved and went in for super glue. I was legit amazed by how much stuff they had. I was strong tho and only bought the glue. I'll probably go back and spend more money than I'm comfortable imagining

Great prices, coupons for just about everything you need. Friendly management. The only real problem here is the layout of the store check lines, they are not efficient when the store is full of customers.

Um small and not much going on but beggars can't be choosers! And the staff is supper nice! The one in angels camp is a lil bigger gr8 staff too...but still not too much going on!

Poorly organized and shelves were partially filled. The name lends one to believe it's a dollar store however very few items fall into that category. I found nothing that I couldn't wait to get at target.

In my opinion this is what Angels Camp needed. Dollar General provides a much needed option for local consumers looking for value. The prices are great and it creates a little healthy competition which is not a bad thing.

Update your Photos! This place is built even though it's not in their own system if you ask the Dollar General the closest store is in Arnold, Jamestown or Jackson but no Angel's Camp. It's been there for almost 6 months.
