Great locally owned hardware store. Very personable and helpful. Plus the inventory is superb and such a help. Had a pot lid with loose handle (purchased elsewhere). I asked for direction on how I could repair. The technician fixed it in a blink. They have my customer loyalty for sure!!

Excellent hardware store with a good selection of plants in the garden department, They also have a great clothing department for women and children. Lots of home decorating items and quality artificial flowers. Great place to shop for gifts.

This hardware store knows what customer service is! Great selection of everything. Home decor area is always changing with new items, Christmas is an event every year. Love coming in here seldom do I not find what I need. They have everything you need from Stihl and professional service as well. If you need specialty lumber this is the place. Drop in you will find something you didn’t even know you needed.

Really good lumber at reasonable prices. The 2x4s I got here are perfect -- no warping or twisting at all. Plywood was likewise in excellent shape. Best of all, they help you find everything and load the large items like lumber into your vehicle.

If you like a place that constantly changes their prices, and the scan price is not reflect the sticker price, than this is the place for you.Went to buy an ax, looked at him online first, picked out the one I wanted which was available in store. Price wasn't much, only $13.99. went to the store, found the one I looked at online, part numbers matched, sticker price on the rack with the exact same part number, show the same price at $13.99.Got to the checkout, the lady rang me up and it came up $19.99.I told her it was supposed to be $13.99 and I even showed her on my phone, the price that it showed online.She said she would have someone check it, they went back and check the price, sure enough the sicker price said $13.99 for this exact same ax.they couldn't figure out why it was coming up for 19.99, so they told me well the prices must have updated and we haven't put a new sticker out yet.So despite everything saying that it was $13.99, I had to pay $19.99 for it.so if you like being scammed out of some extra money, you should definitely go here.

They have the friendliest and very knowledgeable employees walking the floors. Love going there because they have the best amount of stock, not two or three pieces but several. The shelves never look like they are lacking.

I believe this is one of the best places to go. They have stuff for guys, tools, a great chainsaw area, and for girls, flowers, paint etc. Everyone is very nice and helpful. How can they get so much stuff in that little store. It's really not little, but they have everything. This is about the only store I want to go in with the wife.

It's an ACE hardware, but, with a twist. My wife HAS to go up there before and after Christmas. What a great section of the store they have set up for the holidays. We buy our yearly ornaments there, and, other stuff. I can't resist going and checking out the clearance section - tools - ya gotta have 'em. Free popcorn to the left as you walk in, fresh popped. Friendly staff and great stuff there to be had.

This may be a great hardware store and nursery, but ladies - this place is THE place to shop for gifts, Christmas decorations and Halloween decor. It's such a fabulous place we took our whole office from Modesto up there to shop the Christmas section. They are so helpful and friendly, and WHAT A SELECTION OF GOODIES!!! Year-round, this is THE place to shop!

This store has everything you need from lumber and all kinds of tools to plants, home decor, and even some stylish clothes. There's really something here for everyone. The best part for me is that there is a sanitizer station out front and all of the employees wear masks. I REALLY appreciate that!

Always great staff. Lumber is a few dollars more than your Lowes or Home Depot stores, but better quality most the time. Products are usually in stock as well.The only reason why I have given 4 out of 5 stars is their schedule. They close way earlier than most places. During the weekday they close at 6pm. Your average working person (especially if they work in the valley) gets off at 5pm, 1hr commute, and by the time 6pm hits and they find out that something is broken at home they have to drive all the way to Sonora, Jackson, or back to the Valley to get a part to fix. Saturday they close at 5pm, Sunday they close at 4pm.I understand that its mostly likely based on statistics compared to sales per day and time to minimize wasted expenses on employees time cards just maybe 1 more hour open? For me personally I always get a phone call at 6pm from people requesting handyman repairs (leaky sink, breaker failed, etc) but when I look at my watch and have to rush 30 miles to a box store instead of 11 miles, time is of the essence and I don't always have enough stock in my work trailer.Other then that, its a great business.
