Always a clean store, with friendly service. Convenient to where we live. We especially love the Ice cream counter. The kids love getting their ice cream cones in a variety of flavors! It's a nice added bonus. And the prices for the ice cream cones is very reasonable.

I've been somewhat lucky, love the pharmacist to pieces. Friendly and very helpful. Girl with glasses that works the counter, not so pleasant (maybe some customer service training could help). We always feel as though we are interuping her day and are bothering her. But overall service is good!

I've made every excuse in the book as to why they have a hard time. At this point though I am out of excuses. My son's prescription was called in over a week ago to them. When I called to confirm the prescription I wasn't told that they were out of stock so I went in to go pick it up. I was told this is over the counter and that we can find it on the floor. Was not able to find it found what they were referring to and was not the correct items. Was told that they would order the correct prescription and have it shipped the next day. Checking in every day for a week and they still have not ordered it. It's one thing when it's my prescription but when it's a six week old baby they need to do better.

Almost impossible to reach pharmacy by phone. My Dr office sends my prescription over electronically so I have to actually speak to someone to make sure the prescription is filled . I live 30 min away so I cant just run in . I totally understand the understaffing but why not come up with a way to leave a message so I could get a call back .5/10/24 Follow up to the above review . I was actually contacted by the local pharmacy today to hear my issues . In todays world of social media reviews it goes along way when a company actually cares about the customers and takes the time to hear the issues . It goes a long way when a large company like Rite Aid cares about customer service . My issues were resolved and I was advised of a way to communicate with the pharmacy regarding status of a prescription . Shout out to the Rite Aid Pharmacy in Anderson Ca for caring about customer concerns .

This pharmacy location has terrible customer service. My ASD son’s medication is never ready on time although it’s sent in by his doctor two weeks in advance. I have to remind them to fill it every time!Also, it has become impossible to contact them by phone which creates a huge issue when you live 20 minutes away to check to see if his prescription is ready. For 3 days now I have been calling multiple times a day to check the status of his meds and no one answers the phones. Is this location even open anymore???

By far the worst pharmacy I’ve ever dealt with. They screwed my 2 year old son’s prescription up and told my wife she would have to wait for the doctor to fix it, when the pharmacy is the one that got it wrong. That was on a Friday. The doctors office wouldn’t be back open til Tuesday and the pharmacist told my wife too bad she’d have to wait til Tuesday. My son has RSV, this is sickening and pathetic this lady should have her license pulled. They screw up every prescription I ever had. I’ll never go to them again and if you care about your health or your loved ones you won’t either.

If you can't pick up a prescription from the pharmacy drive thru in Lane 2, then post a sign stating that so customers are aware. Yeah won't be calling your suggested #'s, how about you do that as the owner and request a sign.

If you can't get a prescription filled when it is called in at 3:00 and you close at 8:00, maybe hire another pharmacist. So tired of hearing "I'm sorry we only have 1 pharmacist working we'll try and get it done before we close".

My son is constantly unable to get prescriptions here. They almost never answer their phone. We have gone here for like 8 years. Yet they still never have my kids prescriptions on time. Always having to order them. If I try to call it will be looped to the main menu over and over again. Sometimes the call just gets hung up. I'm over it. Been calling for 2 days now. If things don't change we will have to change pharmacies.

I will never use this pharmacy again. I have gone three times, on three different days to pick up a prescription that was called in by my doctor. It is still not ready to pick up! They told me today, on trip three, that they show I am allergic to the medication prescribed and that's why it's not ready. Why didn't anyone say this to me the first time I was there, or why didn't they call or text me there was a problem? I get that they are understaffed, everyone is right now, but this isn't a staffing issue, it's incompetence.

The worst pharmacy experience! They are always behind, takes a week to have a standard refill processed, they don’t answer their phones, and communication is terrible. Avoid this pharmacy if at all possible.

Often out of the prescription that is needed and often looses faxes that the dr sends over. To Day I could not get a pharmisist to answer the phone to see if my husband perscription had been received from the hospital..for some antibiotics that he really needs....yesterday he kept calling to reorder his diabetic medicine but their phone lines were not working all day...they used to be great but definitely going down hill, not sure what has changed, but we are thinking about changing to Costco or safeway.

So tried to have and rx sent here. Called to ensure it was there. Rx was for an antiviral. I was told it would be ready in 40 mins. Went in in 55 and it was not ready. Was chastized for not using drive up. Didn't know they had a drive up, and dont you think someone should of said something when I called. Evidently they did not like how it was written up. Said they would recontact the doctors office.

This pharmacy has terrible service. Every time I come to the drive thru, the line is so long, sometimes new customers can't even get in the parking lot. It's slow moving, normally takes over 20 minutes to get thru. I really need to move my prescriptions. Even going to a pharmacy further away would be quicker.

I've had the absolute worst experience here. I've been a customer for YEARS & have never been treated so poorly. The staff were completely rude & have NO concern for the client. I first tried to pick up my RX after being released from the hospital for having a septic knee/sepsis. This was around 6pm. Unknown to me, I had 15 RX to pick up. The Tech, told us it was unreasonable to expect them to be done that night. Now, I'm home with a PICC line. I need my oral antibiotic, that I'm to take every 12hrs. Never got ANY meds that evening. Even after explaining how important it was to get that ONE med. Next morning I call again. I'm now told some meds need prior authorization. When I state I don't understand why, the Tech RUDELY says "What don't you understand?" My doctor's office then calls the explain importance of getting the antibiotic above all else. I get multiple text messages throughout the day that meds are ready. My family went multiple times to pick up & every time it was one or 2 meds, still no antibiotics. They did send me home with 5 different bowel movement meds. (No issue in that area). Now I'm very annoyed, nobody needs that many POOP meds! Why didn't the pharmacist question this, maybe reach out with a phone call??? It's now 6pm, I get a final call saying med is out of stock. God knows which one cause they leave the first couple of letters of medication. By now its 24 hrs since I've had my oral antibiotic & THAT was the medicine they were out of. They then tell ME, I'll have to call around & see who has it. I'm sorry, but I LOST IT!! My husband ended up having to drive to REDDING to get the antibiotic. Thank God they had it! Anderson Rite Aid was generous enough to call & make sure REDDING had it. Never did get my pain pills either. This pharmacy is a DISGRACE with no care for their clients & completely RUDE to boot. I'll be looking for a different pharmacy for my families future needs. Rite Aid pharmacist/staff YOU should be ashamed of yourselves. M.Martinez

Pharmacy staff is unable to get customers in and out in a timely manner. Watched the customer and employee's repeat the same sentences about 6 times before i finally voiced my displeasure. Staff immediately berated and tried to shame me and even went as far as to physically comfort the patient who was rudely wasting everyone's time, the man working there seemed to have some knowledge as far as providing service in a timely manner but my time was deemed valueless by the rest of the team. Overall this place is good for people who have no where to be, if your time isnt important then this is the pharmacy for you!

I cannot think of a single business that has this bad of service this consistently, regardless of what type of industry. based on the service I’ve frequently witnessed given to other customers I am very reluctant to believe in any of these positive reviews. It’s obvious the management does not care as I have never seen or spoken to anyone besides the front desk person who clearly does not have the training required to answer my basic questions about how to make this process easier. If I could give zero stars I would.

I have lived all over this country and had many, many different pharmacies. This is by far the worst experience I have had. It is every single visit, no matter what day, what time, or how far in advance you call. If you need to come here, give yourself hours of time. Beyond frustrating! They need to hire more people and stop handing out unrealistic times for prescriptions.

I switched to this rite aide pharmacy a few months ago and I've had nothing but problems with them. They are rude, and inconsiderate. I have been on a certain medication for 7 yrs I have never had to ask for my refills, when I still had refills on the medication. (Even with them the past 3 months.) My daughter picked up my medications the other day. The one is missing. I called and was told if I don't ask for the refill of this med they won't refill it even though I'm on automatic refill. I should have known. When I first started with them I had called in and using their phone prompts. You know how it says the time you can pick them up..... well I put in for the next morning. Next morning I go to pick them up and not only are they not done but they haven't even started. The Lady at the register tells me " Oh you have to actually talk to us, we never check that thing." WHAT You have a phone system that you never check? Ok I'm done I'm switching pharmacies. I am 61 yrs old. And on a fixed income. Like I can afford the gas to drive over there 3 or 4 times to pick up one prescription each time. Which also has happened.

Went to get flu vaccine, took over an hour in a rather empty store. Ok fine. However, the bigger problem is that no one was wearing masks except pharmacists already behind plexiglass. Other employees and 90 percent of customers did not and no one enforced it. I’d understand if it was a different kind of business, but lots of sick people go to pharmacies. No evidence of cleaning of public areas, either.

It's terrible that we as consumers are being forced to use big companies like Rite Aid and Walgreens because they put the local guys out of business. Their customer service is terrible, they can't get any of their records right, the availability of the prescriptions is mediocre, and the overall experience is less than one star. What a shame.

This pharmacy has the worst customer service. If there's even a slight problem with communication with the doctor prescribing the medication they don't call the doctor to fix it, instead they tell you to call the doctor just so the doctor can tell you that Rite Aid needs to call them. Best advice don't use this pharmacy!

Very frustrating with trying to get the medication always seems to be an issue on the drs side and thats not the case our drs fax it so many times. They dont know what they are doing we need a better pharmacy. I think it would be a good idea to get a undercover pharmacy shopper just to see how things go. Might keep them ontop of things
