I stopped in right at closing, last Monday, and had an emergency situation with my cat needing water desperately. The grocery was not available and the lady working here was so kind, and helped me with water. She was genuinely nice, and I could tell that she was perfect for her job. I can’t tell you how grateful I am for such a simple act of kindness.

The store, not the staff, is run down, drab, and dreary. Shame on Corporate. The other store in Irvine is upbeat as well as the PetSmart located 2 miles down the road in the Savvy Ranch.

I had to wait several minutes to be checked out. I wasn't given the 25% discount for purchasing the 12 cans of cat food. I didn't really mention it since I was already late after having waited so long

Horrible customer service by manager and associate at the store...i bought a few packs of overpriced aquarium plant bulbs....i tried but they did not sprout, so i went to exchange...it had been 40 days as i was waiting for them to sprout...i was told their return policy is 30 days.....period.. the manager offered no other option or solution...they really need to learn customer service here. These plant bulbs cost me $22 plus tax.

Our two dogs have been receiving great grooming services at Anaheim Hills Petco. The stylists at this location are professional and friendly, and they worked hard to keep the facility clean anytime we visited. Very easy to book appointment too. We went in to check out the pet adoptions, but they weren't being held that day so we decided to look at the cats in the cages. They were so cute and the enclosures were clean and roomy. The employees were very friendly and helpful as well. Petco is in a large shopping center so there's plenty of parking.

Petco is the place that I go to for all my pet care needs not only because their prices are more reasonable than PetSmart but also because now they have live animals such as fish that you can purchase. For the last 3 years, every time I've gone to PetSmart to purchase a fish, they have always had an issue with their fish tanks. I no longer go to anywhere else but Petco.

My favorite local pet store for all of our family pets! They're well-stocked, clean and very professional. One time I got a very heavy bag of cat food and they immediately offered to help me load it in my trunk. I'm very grateful to have this store nearby. ❤️

I take my dog to Petco for grooming every 5 weeks. The store is always clean, employees super friendly. The stylists are professional and very skillful, and treat my dog with patience and love. I just adopted another dog last week, Apple Pie will be joining her big brother Baby Pie to the grooming sessions in another month or two. After every grooming session, we love to hang out in the store. My dog loves to survey the store (treats, foods, toys, beds…) and we always end up buying something. Petco offers many items on great sales price so we always find something to get. Really enjoy shopping at Petco!

Make sure you give them your information and phone number and use it every time you go there because if you try to return it they can't look you up in the system and if you don't have the receipt you're out of luck. I purchased a set of doggy steps for a family member and when I tried to take them back I didn't have the receipt and they said tough luck.

Worst customer service experience. I bought a cat carrier for a move that I tried to use same day and didn’t realize it was broken until I put my cat in it and the thing popped open because it was missing the two clasps on the side. Tried to return 35 days after purchase and was told no but that since it was broken, the manager could make an exception after they got back from lunch. I waited an hour for the manager to come back from lunch and was told by the sales associate that the manager said I would have to “prove it was broken at the time of purchase”. I told him ok and to bring up the video footage of me buying the crate at the time & date of purchase. Manager came out and said there was nothing she could do because it was passed the 30 day mark and to call customer service???? So it was all a huge waste of time and now I have a broken cat carrier to keep.

This place is ridiculously priced. And they shaved my dogs eyebrows off all the way down to his skin. Worst place to take your dog for grooming.

Maybe it's the area but it's kind of a bougie store with limited brands. I've been to better stocked Petcos than this. At least the employee was nice and helpful, the store was clean and organized, but there wasn't anything my picky pup would enjoy.

Limited staff not the most experienced, or knowledgeable. Was able to pick up a couple nice fish and one with some kind of infection that's now infected an entire aquarium. Staff was polite.

Tried to return an item that my wife had purchased for her mother and she didn't like it I went to take it back and they said that because we didn't have an account with him that our phone number wouldn't function they would not return it unless we had the original receipt I have purchased food bones and toys for dogs for a long time and I always give my phone number apparently my phone number doesn't work and they never ever told me that it wasn't working.I will never do business with them again.!!!!

Don't come to this store. Staff is rude. They have the nerve of asking a costumer thier experience in keeping pets. Asking questions they have no business asking. And since when do you need a water sample from your fish tank to buy fish??? Worst store ever.
