Great selection! Love the signs on plants like if they seasonal, etc. Life warranty on trees - that's amazing!Love, love the water fountains. I met Paul the owner and he was very nice and helpful. I told him I've been living in Yorba Linda for 20 yrs and I was so happy that I finally stop by.A must visit if you love gardening.

Bought over $200 in potted herb and vegetable plants last Saturday, immediately planted them with the grandchildren, and within a week every single one was dead.I called and was told that they have no guarantee whatsoever, except on trees and shrubs. They were all planted in their new bagged soil, and properly watered daily.I am so disappointed, I will never shop there again. Pitiful customer service.

Every time I have a gift card, I have a terrible experience. Before I even looked at a plant, I asked them to check my 2 gift cards. They gave me printouts on each card which I presented at the register. One went through fine, the other gave the cashier trouble. He tried twice and then looked at me like" it doesn't work, now what?" They know it's their gift cards system but they act like I'm trying to pull a scam and give me a bad attitude. This has been the case you g back 12 years. I'm driving to Green Thumb in El Toro from now on. I've still got $20 on one card, once I use that up I won't be going back.

Good - Vast selection of plants, many of them are hard to find elsewhere.Bad - Bought four plants from two locations (Carlsbad and Anaheim). All 4 plants had bugs and diseases. Bugs end up infecting other plants, and I ended up with all 4 of them dead, a house full of bugs AND many other plants died in the house/yard. Moreover, they would not honor their “exchange” guarantee. Will not return.

Beautiful nursery and friendly staff. Good quality plants. On the higher price side but worth it.

You'll pay a bit more here than you would at the big box retailers, but the staff knows their stuff and they can order plants if they don't have what you need. They have a nice indoor section and outdoor section. Plenty of pots to choose from, watering cans, etc

Nice selection, and very helpful, friendly people. They offer a 'over 60' senior discount if you join their rewards program. They do not sell or give away your information. Your info is for their program only.

Finally a nursery with healthy plants, where there employees can actually help you and are knowledgeable. Pets welcome too. Plus everyone there was so friendly! Got the one hybrid rose I've been looking for plus some other flowers. Nice to know my rose is guaranteed! Loved it there!

Absolutely fabulous! They were so helpful and knowledgeable about all their plant selection. I was looking for a pomegranate tree and they knew exactly where they were, how big the would be, how to care for them, how to protect them from wind, etc. A big difference from Home Depot Anaheim Hills as I was there before I came to Armstrong where they didn't know where their pomegranate trees were even though their website said they were in stock and no one didn't seem to care to help me look for them. Even though they are a tad bit more expensive, for the customer service I will be shopping at Armstrong instead of Home Depot for plants from now on.

It's a well-tended nursery. I didn't see any dead plants like you see in places like Home Depot or Lowe's. The problem is, there are open windows, it was in the mid 90's, so very uncomfortable to shop. They have great stuff but a bit pricey. That's what you get when you shop in Anaheim Hills. I'll go back in the winter!

I hired Armstrong in Yorba Lindato come out and talk about plants that would thrive in my yard. I was told that the person would come out and decide the best plants. All this person did was talk and tell me how great he would make my yard look. He said he would like an appointment with me at the nursery and he would have plants laid out for me to inspect. I had an appointment to meet with him and he was over 30 minutes late. instead of plants laid out to show me how the yard would look he walked me through the nursery. At 90, it confused me eminencly. I feel Armstrong misrepresented their service and I have wasted $249.00 dealing with a rude man of little talent. If you decide to use them make sure you have in writing what their services covers. I know I will never go back to their nursery.

Helpful staff. Good selection of drought tolerants for DIY landscaping. Guarantee a replacement if your tree or shrub dies after you've planted it when you join their program (no cost to join.)

This place is going to take all my money. They're all so friendly and patient and an abundant of healthy plants! Everything is reasonably priced. The place is clean organized, very pretty. Wish I lived closer I enjoy visiting local nurseries in the morning with a cup coffee and my wallet 😉( when I have the time)Will definitely be back after I 💔 breakup with Home Depot...also I wish I got his name (but he kind of looks Like Lochlyn Monro)... Thank you for the hummingbird sight seeing lol your customer service made me cheat and break up with my local nursery and Home Depot garden...

I go here for my Christmas tree every year. Good selection, excellent quality and great customer service. I then return my tree stand in January and buy a new houseplant. This has worked well the past three years and this will be number four. All three houseplants are still alive! Their different varieties of poinsettias over the holidays are also beautiful and they last as long as you keep them watered.

An Armstrong employee at the front gate cleaned my shopping cart and politely offered me hand sanitizer and a mask before I walked in. I was so excited that they finally opened their gates, that I was happy to comply. The store was beautifully put back together after being closed. The annual section was well organized and fully stocked. The older gentleman in the tree and shrub section helped me identify the issue with some of my roses, and kindly recommended me a spray. As I was checking out, I watched an entitled woman storm into the gates without a mask. She was repeatedly asked to leave by the employees, then proceeded to scream at the poor assistant manager about her rights and liberties. People can be awful. These employees deserve more respect and recognition. 5 stars for them

Compare to Home Depot, they are expensive. However, they have better quality and variety. In addition, they have the rare rose trees that cannot be found at Home Depot. Compare to another nursery that I used to shop in San Jose (Payless Nursery and Hardware), they are not as expensive. Good customer service at the register.

I am generous in giving two stars. I ordered flowers online a week ago cause we are still sheltering at home....i never was contacted regarding my order so I followed up twice. the second time I just asked to cancel...I even tried to call the location and left my name and number and they never called me back ( and I spoke to a live person). I am really wanting to work on my garden and I will have to look at other places.

A well stocked all inclusive plant nursery with everything to take care of your plants, but more importantly all the healthy plants to take care of. The manager was especially helpful and nice. It's a really nice/beautiful place to visit whether you're a plant affectionato or just browsing it's worth the stop!

If you need help with a plant or flower selection or questions answered about a problem in your garden or yard this is the place to go to. Been going here for over 25 years. Always been happy with there knowledgeable staff and plant selection. May be a bit more in cost than the big box stores but the service and well trained staff is what brings me back time after time.

I used to default to hd, but lately, the quality of plants has been better at Armstrong. Definitely join their membership program since discounts seem to build up fast. That is important, since post covid, prices have gone up like everywhere. Like with vegetables, you have to ask yourself, does the cost make sense vs. just buying stuff at a farmers market.

We bought a lot from this place at the tune $4.5K. They had a promo going where the design cost will be waived as long as your total cost is about $4.5K. First of, the design is something scribbled on a piece of paper. Not colored. Not 3D. This POS design is $300. The garden/plants were mediocre at best. I had to improve on the irrigation drips they did as it was not watering the plants at all. We tried getting a hold if the designer and the contractor to no avail. Nobody reached out.Correction: We actually spent close to $7000 for the POS landscape we got.

The selection is quite limited at this small store. They carry some specialty items others don't (particularly the big box stores) like Marathon Grass seed. Also their guarantee on live tree survival is that if it dies EVER, its free. This is better than competition's 1-year survival guarantee. I've yet to have a tree die on me, so I haven't been able to test the guarantee out, which is a good thing. The staff is real hit and miss: some are angels, some are the opposite. Some seem to love plants and know all about them, the others seem like they're only there for a job and they hate dirt, plants, sunshine, fertilizer, growing things, flowers, trees ... &c.

Got some onion starts and some systematic rose food. They were quite helpful and directed me to the items I needed. They were out of live ladybugs but made several suggestions where I might find some. The onion starts were a little pricey, but jump started the onions in my garden and were only $2 more than seeds.

While I know Armstrongs is a large chain, they always have great customer service and the people working there are knowledgeable and friendly. They have a great selection of small plants, if you're looking for larger plants however you'll need to go elsewhere.
