Being 100 miles away from anything, Holiday market is a wonderful grocery store. They’re pretty much going to have anything you’re looking for. Everything’s fresh and the shelves are always stocked.

Dear Holiday friends: today I was disappointed to find my local (Alturas) market had no Guinness on the shelf.(Added 4/27/24.What happened to my Guinness? I gave you the benefit of doubt. I don't understand why you can't keep Guinness on the shelf.

I loved shopping here once I moved into town. Had an amazing manager and crew that worked hard at what they did. We then got a new manager who started doing things such as yelling at workers for not going into work tomorrow. I can say that because I was yelled at and told I was gonna be fired if I didn’t show up to work the next day. I was on the schedule and at my house making dinner. I was baffled at the fact that I got threatened before work even started the next day. So if you are shopping I’d say this is the perfect store for you but if you’re looking for a job don’t go here unless you can befriend the managers so they won’t bother you for no reason

As always, Holiday Markets do not disappoint! I find items here I'm unable to in the food desert a few hours south where I'm currently trapped! Always friendly & helpful staff, no matter which one I've been to, Alturas, Cottonwood, Chester or Placerville.

We love Holiday Market it's the closest thing you're going to come find in Modoc County to a full-blown everything you need grocery store including an entire aisle of organic foods. People are really friendly and the prices are competitive.

We stop here only twice a year on an annual jaunt and every time we come in we go to the deli. The store has great produce and a little of everything you could need. The bakery items are delicious and fresh. The deli, tho, is the highlight for us. Everyone working there is friendly and helpful and the sandwiches are always thick and tasty. We LOVE them. A fantastic store!!

Holiday Market is beyond a doubt the best market in Northeastern California. Clean, well stocked and maintains a full staff of friendly helpful associates. It is a pleasure to shop there.Their prices make it my go to market even though it is 60 miles from home.

The store is great and the service is exceptional. They always have everything you need and if they don't have it you can special request order it and they will start carrying it. The one thing I wasn't happy about was the installation of the self checkout registers. I do not approve of them at all as it takes away from providing jobs but Holiday did right on this by not making cuts to staff but rather just add the convenience of self checkout and all staff and positions are still there. The store is very clean and the province is fresh. The Deli is a must as the sandwiches are the best in town. The meat selection for buying carved sandwich meat is quite large also for a small town and some are really good.

Holiday is a great store! Every time I walk in, I'm always greeted with a smile! I love the fact that if they don't carry a product I need or want, I can request it and they'll order it! As a small town grocery store, I was expecting high prices, but was pleasantly surprised when I saw they're prices are incredibly reasonable, even rivaling Grocery Outlet! The made-to-order sandwiches are delicious AND they even have the good GF bread!!ALL of the ladies in the deli department are AWESOME!! They now know when I walk in what kind of sandwich I want and they REMEMBER I have celiacs! This is the ONLY grocery store I've gone into that actually cares about their customers and our food allergies...it makes a world of difference to those of us that have to be extremely careful!

Holiday market has some friendly folks. They help with anything to may need. The produce is the best selection in the area. Love the deli. Overall it is a pretty darn good place to shop, they carry so many different choices for different items. Instead of 1 or, 2. Holiday carries some things that no other stores do

I like this store because you can find things that other stores in town don't have. It's a little bit more expensive than grocery outlet but sometimes you need certain things. It's clean and the employees are all very nice and helpful.

I like holiday market. They have a great selection of meat and their deli sandwiches are amazing. Also their customer service is amazing I was struggling to get some dog food and an employee came and grabbed it without me even asking. They will also try and get you anything you want special ordered.

Helpful, friendly and knowledgeable staff. Wide selection including organic foods and an isle of "health foods" options and plenty of take home ready options for no-cook nights. Staff is always willing to order items they don't currently stock at your request and they follow up to let you know when the item can be expected in the store. I love they always have ready made bunches of fresh flowers to grab and take home.

Wow, what a nice market! For the small town of Alturas, I'm impressed with how large, clean, well stocked and how fresh the produce is. People are friendly there also. This was my first visit and we are on day one of a vacation with our travel trailer. Next time I'll plan to shop here. It's a much nicer market than the major market in Mt. Shasta near where we live.

I don't like the "rat in a maze" feeling I have in this store. There are several bottle necks as well. On a busy day it is difficult to navigate. Good selection and friendly employees. I just hate the layout of the store.

The staff there is.very helpful and always asking if we need any help and always a pleasant experience. They level of service is by far the best in politeness and makes one feel more like family stopping by then rather then some stores just can't wait for you to spend money and leave you to roam around and that equals frustration when you have to track someone down to get a price or where something is. At Holiday I always get asked if they could help me and I'm 61 yrs.old and i can't tell you how important it is to not have to wander around looking for something because someone always ask me if they could help. Thank you all at alturas holiday market. You are my first choice I make when I shop.
