I am so happy with the grocery outlet in Alturas,ca . It is like a breath of fresh air, a really good environment. The new owner has made some nices changes and it has a more high-end feel. The music is so good now!. Sometimes blues, other times just nice music , nothing that makes you think you're at a carnival! makes me feel like I'm at a Chowchilla concert. The shopping experience is really nice. Thank you!

Just a quick stop to get supplies for cleaning my dirty, bug-laden windshield. The store and parking lot looked new. Nice clean store with exactly what I needed.

Good place to get things cheaper. But once they run out, you're screwed I don't have anymore once they run out on that item.

I absolutely LOVE this Grocery Outlet! They always carry my gluten free bread, the store is always clean, and the customer service is always excellent! There's always something new to discover, as well as the normal stuff they carry..so glad I get to shop this store all the time!Update: still an excellent place to shop! All the employees are so nice and helpful! Everyone always asks if we need help finding anything and how we're doing.. maybe it's just the small town that we live in, but this is by far, the BEST Grocery Outlet I've ever shopped at!!

We usually go here for a snacks and there's been no issue. However, the kimchi we bought had mold and the carrots were quite nasty.

This place is great. Modern and well stocked. Its like a big small-town grocery store. Super clean with a great variety of foods. Lots of parking with a lot across for big campers or motor homes to park and stock up. Will definitely stop in again when I'm in the area.

There is a great vegan/dietary restriction side of the aisle. (mushroom crisps with sea salt !)There is good selection of dairy free Ice creamAlways impressed with the cheese selection at a grocery outlet. Yogurts too. The egg section !! get 5 dozen in a box omg !! What is next that'll find it's way to the store on markdown eyeyee!Staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Store is a 'decent size' for a small town.Can't go wrong with the vegan, non artificial flavor, non alot of things protein drink for $1.50 in the refrigerator before checkout... I found my new go-to as long as they can keep trickling this item in !!The picture below is standing in the parking lot and across the street!

Staff is great, fruit not so much. Every piece I've ever bought was 1-3 days from molding. You can smell the alcohol beginning to form in the oranges in less than 24 hrs, berries always mold in under 24 hrs, and these apples are a week old & rotted. Holiday it's only been the strawberries once in a while to do this but G.O it's been almost every time. Worse off, this time the strawberries were molded when I got in the car (tried to snack on em). All my fruit from this trip is no good. I'm not even going to risk the produce... good thing I've got goats -_-
