I’ve been going here for years. My girl Bailey uses daycare here weekly, and still scratches at door trying to get in, she absolutely loves it! I get all of Bailey’s food and treats here and Angela’s knowledge and advice on any concerns is beyond measurable.I recently boarded Bailey here, and if you are reading reviews you understand, the peace of mind knowing your loved one is well taken care of is the only way you can travel. The videos of them while away is an extra bonus💕.Angela and the staff here are the very best!!

My dogs absolutely love this place. They even get excited if I say, “Groomers” or any of the staff members names. The staff is very knowledgeable and very friendly. I don’t need to go to different stores to get what my dogs need because I can get everything for them here so it’s very convenient for busy people.

Wonderful place! Local with a variety of foods and supplements. Staff is so friendly and knowledgeable. They helped find the perfect food for my 5 week Bull Terrier puppy, plus a great probiotic that has helped his health improve.I will be visiting more often.

I took my dog Vance to get his nail cut today although it was unsuccessful I was vary satisfied with the whole event. That staff was friendly. The groomer could tell my dog was scared (he was shaking as he saw the nail clippers) but was still willing to make a good effort. You could tell she cared about animals and even though she said she wasn’t going to be able to finish his nails I was happy at the attempt. The store had a good selection of food and treats.

Just had our girl,Sophie, for grooming with Cheyenne. The best grooming she has ever had. I am so glad we have this wonderful service in Alpine.. This is my first review of any type, but was so happy with the service. The owner, Alysha, was so pleasant, like we had always known each other.. It is a great place. So so happy. A Natural Instinct customer for life..

Out of towner here. Found this wonderful store on the net.First visit in July and was so impressed with Angela (hoping I have her name right) came back in Oct. to get help with food for our aging Kelpie who has liver and kidney issues. Again I was very satisfied with Angela's knowledge of their food products.Very nice well stocked store.❤

Oh my goodness...everyone at this store is so sweet and friendly! I took our dog, Maya, in today to get completely groomed and she looks amazing!! I’m so very happy that Maya now has a new groomer and pet store!!I highly recommend!

The staff here show exceptional respect for animals, they are beyond helpful to me and my family when it comes to managing our pets and keeping them healthy, and we know it is the same for many others in our town.We adopted 2 kittens from here. Theyre part of the family and were very thankful to have found them here.

Hello Brittany, A person named Jan stauked me on Facebook and left me a threatening post on messenger regarding my review, she said she was a friend of yours. ?? If you care to explain, you can call me. .Do NOT trust the manager at this facility. Asked for their help to read a microchip and she kept the cat ! I did my own research trying to reunite the owners who didn’t want the cat ultimately found out it was illegal for them to lock the cat up in a cage with dogs barking around it and not release it back to me the cats Veterinarian told me it was illegal for them to keep the cat and to call department of animal services. I did and they said the same thing they retrieved them cat and brought it back to my home with the paperwork for me to adopt it. Do not trust them!! She was so extremely rude and unprofessional she yelled, cursed and called me names for trying to check up on this Poor feline that was trapped there.

I have a large Berenice mountain dog who constantly sheds leaving clumps everywhere. I took her to lisa the groomer here and she did an amazing job I can't explain how great she looks no clumps of hair anywhere and her coat is soft and bright. I will be using lisa again highly recommend using her and all services here.

My first time in this pet store! I'll be back! It's out of my way, but my dogs like car rides and socializing so it's definitely worth going back! Friendly staff and a comfortable atmosphere, I really like the quaint yet roomy set up!

I was pleasantly surprised today when I went in to purchase the goats milk for my two rescue dogs. The protein in it is great for helping my shepherd/malinois rescues needs it to help build muscle and bone.My Bluenose pitbull enjoys the goat for his stomach issues. I went into Natural Instincts and was greated by a very friendly staff who sold me the last quart of goats milk .

We took our toy poodle Sophie to get groomed. What we ended up with was a $506.80 veterinarian bill. Turns out Sophie was cut in the ear with scissors and then someone tried to glue her ear together. When we ask Desiree what happened of course she was not available and we're told by someone else that Sophie came in like that. This place is dishonest and lies to cover up their mistakes. The funny thing is we had just taking Sophie to the vet to be looked ato and get her shoots. And guess what no cut on the ear. It's kind of funny how this all went down.

Unfortunately I have no other choice but to write this review in hopes that it will prevent anyone with a disable dog from having them Serviced here and dealing with the trauma that I have. I called ahead of time to verify that they were equipped to deal with a 2 and a 1/2 pound yorkie who was attacked by a large dog and is now blind but needed her nails trimmed. She is only 2 years old. They assured me that everything would be fine so my husband and I drove down from Descanso to bring her in. When we got there they had to take her to the back and handed her over to an older groomer lady. She went through the doors and I could no longer see so I went around till a little window and was shocked to see that she had strung up my little blind dog on to the grooming table. Everywhere else we have ever taken her they have not done this but I assumed that because we had called they knew what they were doing. I WAS WRONG! Within seconds she was shaking and choking herself. The lady was stiff arming her, being extremely aggressive, as she shook more and pulled her little paws away. I was becoming extremely agitated telling my husband "I don't think that we should do this maybe we should get her back". The final straw was when she took her off the table (because clearly it doesnt work to string up a tiny blind dog, she is scared) and forcfully grabbed and held her little paw and tried cutting her nails, almost getting her whole toe in the clippers, and then held her up to her face trying to kiss at her, as if trying to kiss up to her after being mean. She is very lucky she did not bite her with how she was treating a completely blind dog. (She has never bitten, but I would've if I had been scared that bad) That was the last straw I went to the front desk and told the lady "go and get my dog I do not care if I have to pay full price I want her back now". For some reason she was hesitant and didn't want to as if she was embarrassed. I did not care how she was feeling about the situation my dog was being tortured. When she brought her out to me My little blind girl was inconsolable, shaking and running around my neck, and coughing from being choked. I was no support for her, she had been traumatized. The groomer had the audacity to grab her little foot while I was holding her and say "oh I'm almost done here you hold her and I'll finish" which I replied with "I will not hold her and make her submit to you after how scared she has become." My dog was so scared I felt so responsible for the ordeal I slapped my card on the counter and ran to the car so she could get down on her bed and wrap up in her blanket to feel safe. By the time I made it to the door I was in tears. I sent my husband back in and they charged us $13 for her nail trim, which was not complete, her nails are all different lengths and she is super uncomfortable to walk. The money is one thing but How could someone not care at all about the well being of a tiny blind dog who was already traumatized by her accident? Maybe they are wonderful groomers for your average dog, but I would not suggest bringing your pet here. This has been one of the worst experiences I have ever had with a groomer and I am sad to say that they aren't the wonderful establishment they make themselves out to be. If you want your dog groomed, do it yourself in the dog wash station, or take them to Mast Blvd pet hospital in Santee to have their nails done. $20 and a hell of a lot longer drive but we will be making it every month because Natural Insticts in Alpine is not equip to handle small or disabled dogs. I am so disappointed in this establishment and hope others will chose not to frequent here in Hope's that another well deserving place could have our business.

Very nice! They have grooming for both your cat and dog and really seem to care about you and your pet. Adopt your next cat there, they rescue so many from euthanasia there!

Next time you guys decide to treat a customer like a bad step child I suggest you remember the community you are in and without this community your business would not exist. Maybe teaching your staff to have some manners should be a new priority.

Great place to find what you need for your dog, cat, or bird. They even have grooming. It's a little more pricey here, but the people are friendly and helpful for your pet needs.
