This store is clean and welcoming and very well stocked. Prices are good and the folks that work there are very attentive and knowledgeable. Prices are fair and they always have sales. Me and the kitties thank you Kahoots Alpine!

Best experience at a pet store. Our dog is having issues with food and one of the employees spent several minutes with us taking about potential issues with dog food and allergies. He then gave us several bags of sample food for is to try to see which one our dog does best with. Excellent service. Additionally, they are happy to have customers bring in their dogs on a leash and greet the dog with a treat. I recommend shopping at the Alpine location location.

Took our very timid old girl in for her first teeth cleaning. I honestly had little hope for success. Staff was so kind, caring and playful and loving with her! What a fantastic group of people! And no more horrid dog breath! Beautiful job. So grateful for their help

They are very knowledgeable on their products in comparison to other brands. Gave me a sample package to try. Also had suggestions for a picky cat on food to try and he liked it! Great emplyees!!!

Tl;dr : good for emergencies like if run out of food or treats, other than that... nah...It is good and a bit odd at the same time; good for many pet products and employees are knowledgeable and love animals from what I've seen, but do not expect coherence as to experience between visits.Best way that comes to mind to explain is this:On my first visit, I was made to feel like family, yet the next visit was cold; this despite prompting with instances from previous visit the week before. Hit and miss based upon employee mood? I asked a lot of questions the first time to ensure that the betta I bought was as happy and healthy as possible, maybe that was it?Don't know but no longer an issue for me, I am never going back. Just bad vibes...One time visit or emergency run if ya forget to pick up food or something is how I view this place, and that is how I would recommend it. Other than that, prices decent and fair for products in stock.Am a local to the area, and I don't expect to see this place stick around tbhEdit: Grammar

Great pet supply store here in Alpine, CA. You'll find organic pet food, healthy gourmet selections for a picky eater of a pet. I found a great one for my poodle, am so glad! Lots of toys & treats as well, so close to home for us.

Great pet store, they have EVERYTHING we need for my dog. Quality food and treats, raw options as well. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable. My dog is excited as soon as we park the car which tells me all I need to know.

Interacted with the manager looking for products that would keep my cat from spraying in the house. I was also looking for an odor neutralizer. She was able to provide me with both we seems to work well. My two cats still hate each other but with the use of a spray on the steps it keeps one cat upstairs in the other downstairs

Kahoots in Alpine is A well-stocked store with knowledgeable salespeople. I have been here several times discussing a modified diet for my cat. They were very helpful.

Some of the staff is knowledgeable on products for your pets but there are others that aren't able to help you or give you misinformation. It is well stocked for popular items but is lacking in organic products for pets other than cats and dogs.

Very disappointed in the Kahoots brand of food the salesperson literally tried pushing on me. I feed my show dogs Acana or Natures Logic. They tried telling me their "Kahoots Premium Brand Grain Free Beef & Boar" was top of the line. First off I had to educate the clerk the foods first ingrident was beef meal followed by sweet potatoes. Needless to say I won't be going back. I will continue to shop at Natural Instincts where they aren't trying to sell me a product that isn't in the best interest of my animals.
