My German Shepherd was bitten on the tongue by a rattlesnake. Our regular vet does not have anti venom so they referred me to Country Pet Hospital. They immediately took my dog to the back and began the necessary care. I honestly don't know if their prices for snake bite treatment are reasonable or not because we have never been through this before. The ladies in the front office were so kind and caring, they made me feel very comfortable. My dog had to stay in the hospital for 2 days and they called me with regular updates. I am very grateful for their quick response. They saved my dog's life.

Convenient Pet Hospital in Alpine is super nice, and friendly staff. They were very nice and respectful when my cat was sick and they told us he was in pain and dieing. The only thing I have a complaint about is when we asked them uthinze him they agreed but they wouldn't give us his body back and it was a big old thing.. its not cheap but no vet or pet hospital is. We just got our new 7 mo old cat neutered and they were very nice and I liked the communication and staff!

My experience at this business was absolutely unacceptable.I have a very sick German Shepherd who is prescribed science diet. I have the prescription in writing.I walked in and asked to purchase my German Shepherd's food and they refused to sell me the product they had unless I paid for both an exam and blood work that would be about $400.They refused to honor the existing RX and told me to go on chewy to order.The reviews online accurately represent this place and I hope they are shut down.

Our pup Woofgang swallowed something that could’ve sent him to doggie heaven but Country Pet Hospital saved him!! They did an emergency surgery on him (which he healed from beautifully)And took such good care of him the days after! When we picked him up he was so happy and back to his goofy self! The staff treated him as if he was their own and for that I’m sooo grateful!! Thank you Country Pet Hospital! Woofy says hi!

Caring staff. My sick cat was seen right away and they helped me triage the full cost of treatment. When I was able to afford to complete what was needed they had me come in to finish up Earls treatment and diagnosis.Living in far east county it's heartening to know country Vet is close when my babies need care.Thank you!

They had to remove my dog, Grizzy's red ball that had become embedded in his teeth and lower jaw lining! No more big red balls for him!The staff was very caring and professional. I would recommend them.Seemed a little pricey, but when I considered the "emergency" appointment, anesthesia conducted and the take home medications I felt more comfortable.

One of my cats that I brought in a year ago was examined and found to have some type of growth inside her abdomen that was very large and causing her not to be able to walk correctly. She was so old that the vet did what he could for her but suggested I just take her home and let her live her life out. I really appreciated that. He could’ve said “well we need to operate” or whatever but did not. Today, I returned from taking my other 18-year-old cat in due to wobbly hind legs and chronic shaking of her head. My cat was absolutely uncooperative, hissing and growling and I wouldn’t have been surprised if she started biting. Country vet personnel handled it very well but had to sedate her in order to examine her and draw blood. I started blubbering because I couldn’t bear it for my kitty and they were all very kind and gracious. The only reason I didn’t give five stars is because even tho I know vet services are very pricey I wish they could lower the cost of procedures just a bit! Nevertheless, I will continue to take my two kitties in for their gracious care.
